Untrustworthy
I employed Fresh Cleans in Aug'22 and paid them full amount in advance for end of tenancy cleaning including 3 bedrooms carpet cleaning. At last minute they apologised for not being able to do any carpet cleaning, leaving me high and dry. Simply claiming their cleaning contractor's car broke down so he cannot come, they offered to do remaining cleaning scope except carpet cleaning and offered to refund the amount charged for carpet cleaning. When I requested them to arrange an alternative carpet cleaning contractor instead, they simply refused. They have not yet refunded the amount that I had paid upfront for carpet cleaning, giving an alibi that their financial system shows that they have not received any money from me. This is a false claim from them as my bank confirmed money fully paid to their bank account. I have reminded them about refunding my money but they have not yet responded. Being Europe based company using UK dialling codes to advertise and attract potential UK customers, I guess they are simply unable to secure and manage reliable contractors at local level. The quality of rest of the cleaning they did for me was below standard and incomplete. I had to hire another company to come in and clean the areas that Freshcleans cleaners didn't do properly. In all a bad experience but I still hope some good sense might prevail on them so they refund the money due back to me.

This company is a complete joke and I would urge anyone to book a cleaner from a different company.
I booked an end of tenancy clean last week that was supposed to happen yesterday. The cleaner turned up an hour late at 5pm meaning she didn’t have time to do the clean I was assured would get done. She did a very good job with the time she had as one person but I’ve had to go back this morning and clean all the skirtings, the fridge and hoover and dust the entire house which I was told would all be included in the price of the clean. I also paid for a carpet clean to take place which I was told couldn’t happen yesterday so I was assured multiple times that a team would come round and get it done this morning. I then receive a message 20 minutes after they were supposed to arrive to say they are not coming and there is no one else to do them.
I have been an unpaid student midwife for the last 3 years and spent the only money I had on this clean, and now won’t get my house deposit back because it wasn’t done properly
