Good offers at time + great staff and nice products

Service i top

The review is for the Copenhagen.V branch. I just went to have a look but ended up buying the Kildemoes EL-cycle. The staff really helped me out to make a decision on the bike and to top it I got a wonderful service from Mr. George in the showroom. He even delivered the bike to my home and did a wonderful job of explaining me and my wife how the bike works.
Would definitely recommend them.

We are a couple living in Aarhus and we don't know much about bikes. We bought two new bikes Kildemose from Fribikeshop.

We just used the bike for 15 months and got it serviced when it was about to complete one year. There was a horrible accident of my husband due to bike's malfunctioning. Still bike is stuck. If new bike works like this there will be thousands of accidents every day as Denmark is a bike country. We have been using very cheap bikes in past (bike bought for 700 kr or second hand bikes) and we never got them serviced but we never met with accident. This time we bought costly new bikes from an oldest shop in city and we are still suffering.. We never repair anything in bike ourselves as we want to be sure it is done correctly ad we always take the cycle to the cycle store. Seems the quality sold to us was bad and therefore a fairly new bike malfunctioned.

My husband got stitches on face, scratches in whole body and a leg which is not movable. After 15 days of accident he is still not able to do his own works like wearing his pants. I have a small baby of 8 weeks and I used the bike throughout my pregnancy and now I feel I was lucky that nothing happened to me or my baby. My husband could have died and for no fault or mistake from his side. When he was taken to hospital in ambulance if anyone would have seen him it would have scared the hell out of them.

We are not interested in using these bikes anymore and put our life at stack. This experience left such bad mark on us and our life that to cycle again we will need a lot of courage and it can't be happening soon.

I wrote to Fribike shop and they didn't bother to reply until I posted on their facebook page with my husband's picture. After the post all we got is sorry for your situation. They will be doing nothing to compensate us. I asked them to take the cycle and return our money they are not replying. Now that i am fighting against them I will be claiming compensation along with bike cost. Please share this with everyone you know specially in Denmark and let everyone be aware of what they can end up with (broken leg, hospital bed or death bed) if they choose to buy from Fribikeshop. The company will do nothing else than saying sorry a couple of times. Let people understand the risk they are taking while they want to do a very simple thing to ride a bike. Kildemose company, Fribikeshop should be ashamed of themselves. Let us show power of customers and power of unity, what happened with me can happen with anyone of you. Let these companies not wash their hands off and get away so easily...let them learn a lesson so next time such thing doesn't happen. To make money these irresponsible people can't play with life of others.

A troubled wife who is seeing her husband in pain all the time and have to take care of a small baby and who is spending so much on treating my husband and who is thanking God that nothing happened to her child while using the bike in pregnancy.

I have just purchased my second Cube MTB from the Farum shop in January after my first bike was stolen. Great helpful service with the purchase and after my chain broke and was lost they replaced it free of charge while I waited (Tutsind tak Jim).

Also recommend the Farum shop to 3 of my co-workers/friends who all ended up buying new MTBs from them (2 Cubes & 1 Scott) and are also very happy with the service.

Whenever I go in (both for bike repairs and to buy equipment), I experience friendly staff who give a lot of information and are always willing to go the extra mile to help out.

I ordered a children's bike from fribikeshop.dk in January for child who's outgrown his current bike, because the bike was 23% off. The bike was only available online but had to be picked up in one of the shops. I got a call the next working day from the shop I had chosen for pickup that the bike was not in stock.

This would have ended with dissatisfaction, and the bike should really not have been listed on the website if it was not available.

HOWEVER, the shop itself (Thorvaldsensgade in Aarhus) and the employee I taked to (Jacob) left me extremely satisfied in the end. They offered a slightly better bike in the same size, for a similar discount on the price (so I did have to pay the difference in prices, which was 200 kr). The bike was ready for pickup in the store two days later. Picking it up was simple, and the staff was very helpful. I felt that they had actually gone out of their way to make me a happy customer, and I appreciate that.

I got the gears changed for my bike. Though it was a bit pricy (699DKK) I was happy with the result and found the service friendly.
