Ejerskiftforsikring not covering water damage
We bought a house and got an ejerskiftforsikring from Frida. After the first big rain we experienced a water filtration inside the house. Frida has decided not to cover the damage arguing the house is from 1933. The tilstand report of the house mention nothing about this damage, which means that an ejerskiftforsikring should cover it.

Poor Service to Clients
We bought ownership exchange insurance with Frida because it promised fast and prompt service ... What we received is NOTHING like their promise :( we have been waiting for resolutions on our case for 6 months and we still have no decision :( Every time I call to ask about progress, a secretary answers and promises to "write a message" to our case handler. I never passed by the secretary level, and I have no evidence if these messages exist or if they are being read or if reading them makes any difference at all! Waiting for a reply from Frida, has delayed our entire renovation, which now costs 3 times as much. Frida does not care for the client's context or what waiting does to families in need of insurance support. They are very concerned with finding the lowest of the lowest coverage allowed by the contract. We were denied compensation for structural damage to roof supporting structure, with the argument that it is not what they recognize as "damage" because it was "common practice" in the decade when damage occured!!!
Frida has case workers who are very good at finding interpretations of terms in their favour (typically found in small print in the contract). But unfortunately for the clients, despite the huge amounts they charge clients, they do not hire enough staff, so that their staff is CONSTANTLY "overbooked, working as fast as they can but very busy". Every time our case had new information coming in, we had an additional "2 to 4 weeks waiting" and even more after 4 weeks, because "the time we told you before is only indicative, we cannot guarantee the waiting time"! But that is exactly what they advertise to begin with!!! We are very very disappointed, as we really (?) believed that Frida charges more than other companies and will deliver better than other companies.It turns out ... we could have bought a cheaper insurance and probably get through the same hassle and disappointment ...
I work with service quality, and I can say with certainty, that Frida's service is extremely poor from a client perspective (is probably good for their business though). By reading a few comments here and the standardized replies of "thank you" and "we are sorry", it sounds like they need professional help to improve the quality of their service.
PS: We still have no resolution on our case, but I will write a follow up with the rest of our (so far sad) story so others can be better informed when choosing their insurance company

Very bad experience with this company
UPDATE:
After my post on this company back in October we had a Construction Expert looking at the damage. In December he said, that a part of the damage would be covered by Frida. We got an email saying we should sent prices for the work. Now we are in July and still no response to the prices. Their Customer Service is so bad and they really dont care about you!
