My experience with Friends Legal has been outstanding from start to finish. My eye surgery claim went on for several years, and throughout that time I felt fully supported and looked after.

Val Roberts and her team were exceptional—professional, compassionate, and always available to answer any questions I had. They made a difficult situation much easier to deal with.

What really stood out was their determination and passion. They worked incredibly hard to secure the outcome they believed I deserved, and I’m so grateful that they achieved this for me.

I would highly recommend Friends Legal to anyone needing support with a medical negligence or compensation claim.

From the very first telephone call to friends legal, then speaking to val, I new that i had been pointed in the right direction , the team from day one where exceptional, I was a little nervous at the start, but val quickly put me at ease, explaining that they are a down to earth ,no nonsense organization, and they where true to their word, they asked all the right questions, when needed , they contacted me when appointments to see specialist were being made, to make sure the dates where ok, never did i feel overwhelmed when the team asked for specific information, I haven't had many dealings with solicitors in the past, but i doubt that many are as professional, but friendly as the team at friends legal
and to end it all, the outcome was more than favorable, Thank You Val and all the team for working so hard to resolve my claim.

This company is dreadful. They are causing me serious mental health problems and financial distress. They have had since March to issue an eviction order, messed up one application and still haven’t submitted the second paperwork, won’t ring me back when promised. They were allocated to me by my insurance company and I feel totally conned

Having contacted this company late 2021 I was told initially they could help me with a negligence claim. After being passed to 4 different solicitors, as all previously ones left, the contact was awful unless I emailed. Fast forward to now March 24 I got an email to say they couldn't help me and closed my case. Totally shocking company to deal with. Avoid. For me, what a waste of 3 years

Would not recommend as there staff do not get back to you even when told they would after discussing your case

I was allocated to Lyndsey Bell for an employment law dispute. I was very disappointed by the service received on this occasion as I found it extremely difficult to make contact with my solicitor and only received contact after Laura Sillars intervened and helped me receive my merits assessment for the case. I am pleased that Laura resolved the issue around contact but this really needs to be improved in future as I have found similar client reviews on google reviews around lack of contact from solicitors and suggest the firm looks into why there are so many issues with contact with solicitors and how to improve this.
