The communication is poor, the delay in receiving the funds they promise you is not much better. At present, we have been waiting a few days over the advised “24/48 hour” timescale provided and when we’ve sent chaser emails, they don’t bother to reply. We’d sold another old handset some months ago to another company and comparison between the two is shocking. Initial company for first phone sold was so straight forward, easy, with constant updates and communication. As for Frift, I’d honestly avoid using them.

My phone I sent was basically in very very good condition. And yet to my surprise I was told it had a couple of defects and the offer price was changed which to be honest was a lie and it was expected ! Couldn’t be bothered to argue so accepted offer . But based on that I wouldn’t recommend drift to anybody selling a phone .

Grading not a simple as it could be. Offered more than any other company. Dropped the price as battery health was below 80% but was still much higher than other selling sites. One week from sending to getting money. Would definitely use again.

I sold my iphone 13 pro to Frift. They valued it at £515.50. I booked a collection and it was all really easy. Frift emailed me once they had received the phone and said it needed to be checked by a technician. A day later the £515.50 was approved and I received payment into my account about 2-3 days later. I would use them again as it was a pleasant experience and a good value for my phone.

Really pleased with this service. I lost my tracking receipt and panicked. I phoned and was re-assured that they could see that my package had been sent although not received as yet.
It was received next day I was kept fully up to date I got the amount as quoted and monies in my back within 3 days. Amazing service thank you !

I used Compare & Recycle to find the best price for 2 iPhones - my 13 Pro Max and my wife’s 13 Pro. In anticipation of the used price dropping when the 15’s were launched, I got the valuation a couple of days before. Frift offered the highest price for both handsets.
I’ve used a few different trade-in sites over the years - having never heard of Frift I was a bit dubious. I’m happy to say that the service was good.
Points to note - I sent the phones via Royal Mail (couldn’t get DPD as I didn’t know when to arrange the collection due to not knowing when our new iPhones would arrive). Royal Mail sent the 2 phone packages on different routes, meaning one phone arrived 2 days after the other. Frift contacted me to say that they have dropped the price of the one that arrived later due to it being beyond 7 days, even though their terms state the quote is valid for 14 days. I couldn’t be bothered arguing and so accepted the relatively fair revaluation.
In comparison to the better known trade-in sites, Frift take an absolute age to pay. If there’s a weekend in between then that adds 2 days to the time. There is no excuse to delay payment, same-day should be a given.
If I could, I would have rated Frift 3.5 stars, but gave the benefit of the doubt and rounded up.
Would I use them again? Yes and no. The offer would have to be significantly higher than those who offer same-day payments; if the offer was only slightly higher then I would choose the quicker payment.
iPhone 13 Pro Max: Received by Frift on 26/09/23, payment went into my account 02/10/23.
iPhone 13 Pro: Received by Frift on 28/09/23, payment went into my account 11/10/23 (after having to enquire as to where it was).
Bear in mind that the total value of the trade-ins was over £1000, I didn’t like the worry over waiting for the money to arrive. If you’re happy to wait then use Frift if they offer the most money for your device. If Frift move to same-day payments then I would wholeheartedly say use them.

I sent my iPhone 13 Pro Max 256 for trade they valved at £651 at excellent condition.
I got my money paid with in a few days. No hassle or revaluation.
DONT USE SMART CELLULAR they valved my phone at £690. Then offered my £500 then wanted me to pay to get my phone back!!

Having traded-in my iPhone 12 Pro Max to Frift, I can definitely recommend their service to others. They provided me with a well designed pre-paid pack for my return to them. I later received an email confirming receipt of my device. The next step was another email to confirm that my payment had been processed and I subsequently received the funds into my bank account in good time. They were a pleasure to do business with and I wouldn’t hesitate to go with them again in the future.

Incredibly slow to respond.
They emailed to confirm they received my phone last week and I’ve heard nothing since. I emailed them and they take days to respond. Getting quite concerned at this point as I’ve sent them a very expensive phone. Wouldn’t recommend at all and won’t be using again.

They offered the best price (Iphone12-64gb) via Compare & Recycle price comparison site. I accepted the offer £272.50. DPD collected on 24/9. Email from them on 27/9 to say phone revalued (now£250) as it has visible scratches on screen and a small chip to the frame. I was shocked as I sent the phone as close to brand new condition as possible! I emailed them photos I had taken from every possible angle to prove there was no such damage. Received a call from Dan - manager. He told me that the technician had made an error and that he would honour the quoted £272.50! I was okay with that and accepted that an error had been made so I have only awarded 4 stars.

Firstly I didn’t receive any packaging through the post, I then emailed and was given a label to print. They received my phone on Tuesday 26th, when I hadn’t heard anything for 48 hours I emailed, I was told I should receive an email in the next 10 mins, I did, it was a your phone has been revalued so I replied to ask what the revalue was as the email doesn’t state what it was and I was told then that it was full value (Email was sent in error then?) that was Thursday 28th I was told it would be processed within 24-48 hours depending on bank, I used PayPal so should be instant on Saturday I emailed asking where my payment was I received my payment on the 2nd and 5 mins later received a reply stating that payment was sent when they had said 4 days prior. If I hadn’t received by the end of today then please contact them ( already have it as they sent just before replying) I have used multiple recycling companies in the past and this is by far the worst never again.

Excellent service. I was initially worried the, they offered the best price and sending my phone, I was expecting some kind of issue.
Instead, they received my phone on Monday and the full amount of money was in my account by Thursday. Sophie in support helped keep myself in check (I emailed as I had concerns).
Overall, I recommend and will definitely use again - top rates, top service, top payment speed.

Terrible service. Got £210 quote sent it in, got quoted £150 requested my phone back. Never received it so messaged them they said they hadn’t sent it so I request it again 2 weeks later. Still didn’t send it so messaged again. They finally sent it, didn’t sent the Apple box i sent it with and the cable or anything. So I messaged again and a lot of back and forth they finally sent a box and charger ( wrong type of charger)
So overall rubbish service.

Sold my iPhone 11 to this company got offered £217.50 online they arranged collection on 8th September and I received the full amount offered on the 13th September, it was very easy to do and very pleased with the amount offered i will definitely use again in the future if I need to.
