Avoid Fruugo!!! Terrible Customer Service & Zero Accountability
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been beyond frustrating and people need to be aware.
Within minutes of placing my order, I realised the delivery address was wrong and immediately contacted the seller through Fruugo’s enquiry system asking for either a correction or cancellation. I didn’t wait hours or days this was done straight away.
What happened next?
Nothing.
No one bothered to read or act on my request. Days later, the item was still dispatched to the incorrect address despite multiple follow-ups and even an escalation.
Customer service then simply hid behind their “terms and conditions,” telling me:
They can’t change the address
They can’t cancel the order
If it’s delivered, it’s now my responsibility to retrieve it from an address I no longer live at
So let me get this straight — even if you contact them immediately to fix a mistake, they will ignore you, proceed anyway, and then shift all responsibility onto you. That’s not just poor service, that’s completely unreasonable.
This isn’t just about a wrong address — it’s about:
Ignored customer enquiries
Delayed responses until it’s too late
Zero effort to resolve a preventable issue
Passing responsibility onto the customer for their inaction
It honestly feels like once they have your money, you’re on your own.
I’ve wasted time, money, and effort chasing something that could have been fixed in minutes if anyone had simply done their job.
My advice: Avoid Fruugo altogether.
If anything goes wrong with your order, don’t expect help — you’ll just be met with copy-paste replies and no real support.
Never again.

I found the remote control I required a lot cheaper than other sites I had searched. Delivery was cheap and arrived a lot sooner than expected. Thank you.

Fruggo's service was fast, efficient and confident.
However, it took a while to figure out the exact location to where the parcel was shipped for delivery. the announcement was not clear. strongly suggest discussing this issue with the delivery agent.

It was easy to order and the order came early. In fact Fruggo were telling me when to expect it, when it already arrived.

I ordered a whack-a-mole toy for my son’s 3rd birthday. The delivery took a long time as was shipped from China. Paid £40 and certainly not worth it. Product only speaks in Chinese, not English, which was not advertised. Very disappointed. Requesting a refund.

I paid for two shipments and the product came in one package. You didn't even pack it because the package came from China. I bought it from you because it's an English shop I thought the package would come quickly. Unfortunately, the shipment took a very long time. I am not happy with your services.

I would give it zero if i could. Impossible to get a refund for a purchase that was not as advertised. I need to send it back at my expence and wait 14 days for a refund but no details where to send to.
