I put an order through paid for it but then realised I’d put down the wrong delivery address
I sent them an email and within 10/15 minutes they replied and updated the address
The ordering was so easy and the delivery was quick and updates were given every step of the delivery

Lies lies lies.....
This was supposed to be sterling silver. It is not. This is supposed to be an urn necklace to put ashes of your loved ones in it. The "lid" is fused and does not come off. This is total tat and was supposed to be a present for my friend and her sister who lost their dear mum. I cant give this to them. Its going straight in the bin. I can only assume that all the other comments on here are from the company itself. I am so dissapointed and feel totally scammed especially as I used this site to check if this company was a good one. Do not buy from them. I am waiting for their reply I want a full refund and these necklaces are going in the bin.

Fake products
Ordered the perfume on the website when it arrived it was duplicate. Company registered in UK but product coming from China and then it took long time to arrive and then not the original product. Cannot get in touch with anyone tried the return option it’s costing me more than the price of product to send it back to the retailer.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been beyond frustrating and people need to be aware.
Within minutes of placing my order, I realised the delivery address was wrong and immediately contacted the seller through Fruugo’s enquiry system asking for either a correction or cancellation. I didn’t wait hours or days this was done straight away.
What happened next?
Nothing.
No one bothered to read or act on my request. Days later, the item was still dispatched to the incorrect address despite multiple follow-ups and even an escalation.
Customer service then simply hid behind their “terms and conditions,” telling me:
They can’t change the address
They can’t cancel the order
If it’s delivered, it’s now my responsibility to retrieve it from an address I no longer live at
So let me get this straight — even if you contact them immediately to fix a mistake, they will ignore you, proceed anyway, and then shift all responsibility onto you. That’s not just poor service, that’s completely unreasonable.
This isn’t just about a wrong address — it’s about:
Ignored customer enquiries
Delayed responses until it’s too late
Zero effort to resolve a preventable issue
Passing responsibility onto the customer for their inaction
It honestly feels like once they have your money, you’re on your own.
I’ve wasted time, money, and effort chasing something that could have been fixed in minutes if anyone had simply done their job.
My advice: Avoid Fruugo altogether.
If anything goes wrong with your order, don’t expect help — you’ll just be met with copy-paste replies and no real support.
Never again.
