I had a wonderful experience on my FTLO Italy trip. The food was incredible, the architecture was stunning, and the itinerary struck a great balance between planned activities and free time.

Our trip, Eleonora, leader was sweet, organized, and genuinely supportive throughout the trip. I especially appreciated that she never pressured anyone to participate in activities they weren't interested in and always made sure we had plenty of opportunities to explore on our own.

The group dynamic was also great, most of the travelers were friendly, welcoming, and fun to spend time with. FTLO did an excellent job communicating before and during the trip, and it was clear that they genuinely care about creating a memorable experience for their travelers.

Overall, it was a fantastic way to experience Italy, and I would absolutely travel with FTLO again.

10/10 experience. I just went on my 2nd FTLO trip to Morocco, and it was incredible. The trip allowed me to immerse myself into the Moroccan culture and enjoy trying new things each day. First off, my host Youssef made everything so special; and most importantly, he made sure the whole crew was safe and happy. I would highly recommend going on the Morocco trip if you want some adventure and experience a new culture … and riding camels in the Sahara 🙏🏻🐫

I had a wonderful time exploring Scotland & Ireland on my first FTLO tour. It was so much fun experiencing these countries with new people and building genuine connections along the way.

I also want to give a special shoutout to our trip leader, Maddy. While Edinburgh and the Cliffs of Moher were truly unforgettable highlights, some of my favorite memories came from the smaller, unexpected experiences she thoughtfully arranged along the way, such as trying black pudding pizza in Glasgow or taking a beautiful nature walk during one of our rest stops.

Our trip involved multiple destinations, but everything flowed seamlessly. The journey was so well organized, with impeccably timed breaks, that the travel actually felt comfortable. Beyond that, Maddy's considerate nature was evident throughout the trip. She consistently put the comfort and needs of the group first and was genuinely invested in our experience.

I also appreciated how she was always happy to take photos and videos of us, allowing us to stay fully present in the moment while still capturing lasting memories. It never felt like a tour leader simply doing her job; rather, it felt like a friend sharing in our excitement and finding joy in watching us experience these places for the first time.

Maddy is a real gem, and her presence made the experience that much more memorable. I would love to join another one of her tours in the future!

I had a wonderful time on my second FTLO trip (and my second with Jordana as a leader)! The itinerary for Southern France (Nice) and Barcelona was a great one. The food and walking tours in both cities gave us a great overview of the culture and tastes in Southern France and Barcelona. Jordana curated an amazing food tour in her hometown of Barcelona, and taught us about Catalonia culture. I hope to get back to those spots some day!

Hi-lights of the trip for me included our trip to Eze with amazing views of the French Riviera and a beach day in Villefranche-Sur-Mer, La Sagrada Família in Barcelona, the Cava winery, and boat day. Jordana helped add to the experience by making recommendations for our free time, organizing group meals in our free time, and managing the schedule efficiently. She gave me recommendations for my solo travel ahead of the trip. Most of all, traveling with Jordana is truly like traveling with another friend. She makes every experience special, I was very excited to see she was the guide for my second FTLO trip. Jordana brings positive energy to every activity, she truly goes above and beyond! I can’t have asked for a better experience.

I went to Morocco with Youssef and it was one of the most memorable trips I have been on. Youssef was an incredible guide and had so much knowledge of the country and customs. Our itinerary was packed but he always made time if the group needed something else. A couple of us fell ill and he helped us find a pharmacy and got the right care. He was also engaging and just fun to hang out with, he knew everybody along the way.

The itinerary was very well planned and timed, exploring almost an entire country in one week can be tough. Youssef brought us to all of the best places to learn (and maybe buy) Moroccan goods (e.g., leather, ceramics, rugs, spices). I learned way more about Morocco than I would’ve by myself and also contributed positively to the local communities. I definitely plan to go back to Morocco, I highly recommend this trip with Youssef.

I traveled with FTLO to Morocco and had Youseff as my guide. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. He was so kind and made the trip unforgettable. I would highly recommend going with this group again and if you can request Youseff, please do it!!

On the FTLO trip to Puglia & the Amalfi coast, our trip leader, Angelo was incredible. He had the perfect balance of fun & professionalism, and his familiarity with the region added extra value. He has a strong social intelligence which allows him to bring people together, and it seemed that every person on the trip liked him. The trip would have been nowhere near as fun without his cultural knowledge, his relationships with the people we visited, and his fun personality.

I have been on three trips with FTLO, and all of them have been superb. What set my most recent adventure - to the Amalfi Coast and Puglia - apart from the others, however, was Angelo.

Angelo truly goes above and beyond in every respect, making sure each of us on the trip had an excellent experience. For example, when I and another member of the trip wanted to go on a hike but didn't have the appropriate hiking shoes, Angelo connected us with a place to rent shoes.

While the itinerary of the trip was excellent, it was Angelo's positive energy that brought everyone on the trip together to have an amazing time. He is truly an invaluable asset to FTLO.

This was my first FTLO trip, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The trip itself was incredibly well curated, but the real highlight was our trip leader, Angelo!
He was the perfect mix of professional, knowledgeable, organized, and genuinely funny. He made everyone feel comfortable, kept everything running smoothly, and somehow always knew exactly what to do, where to go, or how to make a great moment even better. His energy and passion for what he does really came through and made a huge difference to the overall experience.

I had an amazing time and made some wonderful memories. I’m so glad Angelo was leading my first FTLO trip, and I would 100% recommend traveling with him. He set the bar incredibly high for future trips!

I just completed my first tour with FTLO through Puglia, the Amalfi coast, and Rome with Angelo D and I’m tempted to say it will never be topped. While Italy itself is a special place Angelo made it a magical experience. Cooking class with chefs that felt more like family at the end of the night, warm welcomes everywhere we went, group jokes, the list goes on. Angelo really helped minimize the culture shock of my first international trip and made me feel at home. While i would have preferred a longer time in our first city there really isn’t anything i would change about my experience. I want Angelo to be my guide/host/traveling guru everywhere i go! Thank you Angelo!

Lilla was an amazing tour guide in Slovenia! The country was beautiful but she made the trip incredible! She was so organized and thoughtful and ensured everything was perfect! I’ll never forget the incredible views and culture I experienced there!

The FTLO Amsterdam trip was an incredible experience! Everything was well organized and the itinerary offered a great mix of sightseeing, culture, and free time. Our tour guide, Floris was amazing - very knowledgeable, friendly, and made everyone feel included. He took us to locations we never would have found on our own, giving us a true local perspective of the city. I would highly recommend this trip with Floris and would definitely book another FTLO trip!

I ventured on the 5.24 trip to Brazil 🇧🇷 and had the most amazing time, definitely one of my most memorable trips to date. There’s so much to say, but concisely I want to shout out 3 main highlights: 1) our group dynamic was awesome. We all authentically joked around & got along so well, and I genuinely felt like I made friends on this trip, not just travel companions; 2) the trip itself was amazing, I connected to the culture in ways I expected to and that were also surprising, I will be back to Brazil for more!; and 3) our trip leader Zema Lopes. He is passionate for what he does and genuinely cared for us 💯. With him as our guide, my first experience in Brazil will be unforgettable. I’m happy to have been apart of this group! 💜

I had an amazing time on FTLO’s Tuscany & Rome trip! The included tours and activities were excellent, and there was plenty of free time. Our guide, Eleonora, was fantastic. She was so kind and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help our group plan and arrange activities in our free time. I highly recommend traveling with FTLO, and I look forward to doing so again in the future!

I traveled with FTLO on their South Africa New Year’s trip and came away feeling that the execution did not match the expectations set by the marketing, price point, and reputation of the company.

There were definitely positives. The overall itinerary concept was strong, our trip leader was excellent, and several local providers delivered outstanding experiences.

However, there were also a number of issues that significantly affected the trip. The most notable was the stay at Bundox Explorer Camp, which fell well below what many travelers expected from an FTLO accommodation. Multiple FTLO alumni on the trip independently commented that it did not meet the standard they had experienced on prior FTLO trips.

I was also disappointed by the pre-trip experience. FTLO relies heavily on its proprietary Hub for communication and trip preparation, but many travelers found it difficult to navigate and less effective than the communication approaches used by other group travel companies. Some of the trip materials also felt dated or not fully aligned with the on-the-ground experience.

To FTLO’s credit, they acknowledged certain issues and provided a partial refund. I appreciated that gesture and the professionalism of their customer service team. However, after extensive discussions with FTLO, including direct communication with the company’s CEO, I still felt that the resolution did not fully reflect the impact these issues had on the overall experience.

I do not think FTLO is a bad company, and I can understand why many travelers have positive experiences. My experience, however, did not match what I expected from a premium organized trip at this price point.

From start to finish, FTLO did an outstanding job with communication around the Thailand trip, setting expectations and curating an itinerary that balanced cultural experiences, great food, beautiful accommodations, and seamless logistics. Traveling through a country with a guided tour like this is one of the best ways to experience it. You get to see and do so much more than you could on your own, while having all of the planning and transportation taken care of.

The accommodations throughout the trip were excellent, the transfers were smooth and well organized, and every detail felt thoughtfully planned. The experiences felt authentic and gave us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture, cuisine, and scenery. Every day brought something new, and it was clear how much care went into creating the itinerary.

A special thank you to Beam our guide, who was truly exceptional. She was kind, energetic, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive throughout the entire trip. She always made sure everyone knew what was coming next, answered questions with patience and enthusiasm, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of. Her positive attitude and genuine care for the group made a huge difference in the overall experience.

One of the things that stood out most was how effortless everything felt. Whether it was transportation, accommodations, activities, or meals, the trip ran smoothly and allowed us to focus on enjoying the experience rather than worrying about logistics.

This was an unforgettable trip, and a big part of that was the combination of FTLO’s excellent planning and Beam’s outstanding leadership. I came home with amazing memories, new experiences, and a deep appreciation for the places we visited. This was my 4th tour with FTLO I would absolutely travel with their teams again and would be thrilled to have Beam as a guide on a future trip.

Just recently came back from my fifth FTLO trip to Slovenia. This trip was a lot more active and nature-y than other FTLO trips that I've done and I honestly really loved it! Slovenia is such an amazing country and one in Europe that you don't hear much about, so I loved being about to explore the country.

Our trip leader, Lilla, was honestly incredible. She gave so many recommendations for things to do in every city we were in. She also made reservations at restaurants for meals that weren't included in case the group wanted to still have meals together. A couple of my favorite things that we did on the trip were things that were optional that Lilla coordinated - a hike up to the Mala Osojnica viewpoint in Bled and a day trip to the coastal city of Piran.

I just finished my first FTLO trip and I’m already thinking about when I can book my next FTLO vacation! This trip itinerary was perfect. I really felt that the food/city tours helped to give a taste of the culture (literally) and provide some insight to the city’s history and local customs. Each city seemed to have a unique excursion/experience planned. For example, visiting La Sagrada Família in Barcelona is something I’ll never forget. Likewise, exploring the beautiful medieval town of Èze added some charm to the Nice portion of the trip.

Our trip leader, Jordana played big part in shaping this experience for us. She always made sure we were safe and well taken care of, including guiding us to activities that we chose to do during our free time. Luckily for our group, Barcelona is Jordana’s hometown, so she was able to provide advice and suggestions from the eyes of a true local! I sincerely hope Jordana is the trip leader for my next FTLO trip!

I went on the South France and Barcelona trip. Our FTLO guide was Jordana and she was extremely friendly, organized and very knowledgeable about all the locations on the trip! I had a great time and highly recommend this trip and FTLO! Thank you to Jordana for helping make this such a positive memorable experience!

I just competed the Barcelona/South of France trip. Jordana was a fantastic trip leader, she is passionate about her work and makes everyone feel welcome. She provided great insights on the local culture, restaurants and activities to do in our free time. I would certainly take another trip with Jordana.
