Super helpful

We recently moved from another fulfilment centre. Our Onboarding Manager Nathan has been really helpful, answers questions quickly. As soon as we we're connected with him everything became really easy.

V easy to set up

V easy to set up - so glad I took the plunge!
Tom was my contact & he supported us every step. Really fast, pro active & solutions based - nothing was too much for him to sort. We did have a few minor issues on set up but Tom looked into all of them & worked with the warehouse & all was sorted. Really like having a Uk contact on Uk times that works with USA. Would highly recommend.

Reliable warehouse

I’ve been with FulfilmentCrowd for a couple of years and they have been very reliable and the investment into the new platform was the perfect move. It’s made the process so much more efficient and for me who runs a brand which now operates in the US , I’m benefiting from their global warehouse locations

To good to be true, well it is!

I am a new start-up and knew from the offset that I did not want to be filling and shipping boxes every day, I wanted to spend time on my business and customers. Kirsty has been amazing, sorting out any minor issues I have had, I hope I am not tempting fate writing this review but so far so good. I would fully recommend it.

Do not join this fulfilment company UK/EU!! Warning Read

Dear Fulfilment Crowd,

This email was sent to you on Friday, the 15th of July 2022. I still have not had a response, and things have been come even worse.

I am SO DISAPPOINTED and ANGER right now! We have received two more customer emails saying their orders have not turned up.

What the hell is going on with this fulfilment centre. I DON NOT have the time or the money to waste on top of losing the customer due to your poor logistic management and handling skills from fulfilment crowed and dpd. This is out of control and a joke of service that is being provided.

It has taken us to contact Brittany Miller and say Zero your feedback forms to escalate this matter as it has been impossible to get any of these chat/support tickets people to do anything.

The fulfilment crowd is not the company it once was when I joined in late 2019. Whenever there is a problem, it is a mission to get it sorted, which takes weeks, and I really do mean weeks. There is no personal care or concern about how these problems affect my business; there is no compensation for the time spent getting our products from the USA/Canada, no compensation for the cost involved in shipment imports and delivery cost for restocking, and no compensation for you billing me for the cost of unloading, scanning and storing, no compensation for time and effect rebuilding a relationship with the customer.

You have not given us an explanation as to what and why this happened and continues to happen. As I have mentioned, SO DISAPPOINTED and ANGER.

Again, further problems have come to light in racking up 18 orders with the above. Plus, for example, customers have to pay extra charges for the shippments to be delivered from a delivery company we do not ever use. Another example is the fulfilment centre issued the incorrect paperwork for our EU shipment, creating more of a headache for our EU customer and being asked to pay double import and VAT charges.

As stated above, the Fulfilment crowd is nowhere the standard it promises to deliver "no pun intended!

I will be closing my account and moving to a more personal fulfilment company, one that you can pick up the phone to talk to if an issue arises.

I want to make people aware of some of the issues a customer of the fulfilment crowd spends over £22,000 per year. Yes, there is more, as this similar issue has happened before. But I am very tired of giving them the benefit of the doubt.

New Start-up company

We have been working with the team at Fulfilmentcrowd over the passed 3 months to help us with our new starter-up company. The whole team have been fantastic in there process. I have worked with many 3PL over the world for the last 25 years and Fulfilmentcrowd have been one of the best for implementing, process and can do attitude. This is in all there departments, IT, Operations, customer service.

Happy customer since 2018

I've used Fulfilmentcrowd since 2018, and have used 4 fulfilment companies around the world and these guys have stood out. They're price competitive, sustainability conscious, and the nuts and bolts of deliveries have been trusted. Special projects have had challenges but the Custom Order feature has improved that. The customer support moving from an account manager model to a service board model isn't ideal as the context needs to be re-explained, but everyone is cordial and gets the job done. Countless times they've got me out of a sticky situation. Would recommend.

A great business partner

We've been working with Fulfilment Crowd now since 2018, back then e-commerce and fulfilment was a very steep learning curve for me - thank goodness for Brittany who gave me step by step support during set up and launch! Since then we have grown significantly, as have FC! Their space and technology has meant we had the flexibility to do so without operational issues and when there are hiccups they have been able to sort them out. Our orders are dispatched fast by the team at Martland Park which in turn means happy customers - some of whom order and receive their large item less than 24 hrs later! A great business partner for us, allowing us to focus our time and attention on marketing & growth.

Highly recommend Fulfilmentcrowd!

We were referred recently to Fulfilmentcrowd by one of the UK's largest book publishers to receive and distribute hundreds of our newly-published books.

Would be 5* but there were a few technical issues with initial set up. The team at fulfillment crowd were dedicated to sorting it out quickly and effectively. In particular Brittany from the customer service team was brilliant at making sure it all got sorted. All works very well now and would not hesitate to recommend fulfilment crowd.

Excellent, helpful and supportive.

I have used Fulfilment Crowd since I launched my NASA Kickstarter in 2019. The have supported me and my book sales since then, ensuring deliveries are made on time with a customer service that looks into any issues and reports back extremely quickly. The online system is efficient and has live online help to guide you though. If you are looking for a reliable and first class fulfilment company for your kickstarter or anything else, then I can 100% recommend Fulfilment Crowd. I have been working with FC for many…

I have been working with FC for many years now and although I find them to lack in many areas they are always willing to try to improve and learn from previous mistakes. Paul Taylor is great and an asset to the company he has made it a much better run organisation since he joined last year. FC handles around 200 shipments a day for us and overall we are happy, they get the products out on time and handle all returns etc.

Really struggling with FC

We have been using Fulfillment Crowd since the launch of our business in 2019.

Although there have been a few teething issues, they have been huge improvements made during this time.

Of particular note is Brittany. Always professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

We are now looking to expand our operation into Europe with the help of FC.

Since I wrote this review, things have deteriorated significantly. This is in part due to the fact Brittany has left.

A really great customer service team, but....

Firstly - the customer service team are REALLY great. They're on top of everything, they're responsive, they go out of their way to help, to find information, to see an enquiry to the end. I cannot fault them at all - they're firmly in the top 5% of any customer service I've experienced anywhere.

As for the rest of the operation...Fulfilmentcrowd seem like nice people, but the service doesn't seem quite ready yet. I cant count the hours I've spent struggling with the stupid software (difficult to determine carriage prices in advance, orders are randomly on hold and lock up stock levels, simply entering an address for an order is a needlessly long-winded process). They DESPERATELY need someone to fix the UX.

There have been communication problems with picking/pricing cartons vs singles, with setting up and shipping with their NL warehouse, with complicated billing that doesn't directly correspond with dispatched orders (you have to go back an forensically make the connections), for some reason the NL warehouse is billed by a German company, the potential billing issues between picking whole cartons vs picking single products that I still don't have time to check historically and the various different opinions/instructions by the onboarding teams on how picking, dispatch and import VAT work - all of which have cost money and some reputation. It feels like the process is never quite worked out.

For what its worth, in my opinion if you have a super simple B2B or B2C only range with only a few SKUs, this will probably work really well for you. If you have more SKUS but a dedicated accounts/admin person to double check everything, this probably works really well too. But as a startup I'm struggling for time and a 3PL was supposed to remove the day to day fulfilment hassles. I'm afraid this whole experience has added to them.

Good! (With room for improvement)

Generally, their systems and integrations work well and things are solid. Some comms and response speed issues which may have been Covid / staff related, but when you get their attention the support service is good and they are now assisting with an expansion into a warehouse in France. Customer Service facility that they provided was excellent when Helen was on the case! Some slippage when she was not unfortunately but the reasons for this have been explained...

Overall we are happy with Fulfilment Crowd and are looking forward to the release of new systems and software that they have in the works which should lock down issues and streamline processing and resolution.
