FulfilmentCrowd (FC) - Fantastic Company
We have an ever-growing chain of stores and needed a capable and reliable 3PL partner, past let-downs have caused inconvenience to our stores, disappointment to customers and lost revenue.
Our inbound goods are complex shipments of pre-release stock for distribution across our stores and are time-sensitive, needed on the shelves in good time for release days.
We contacted FulfilmentCrowd during peak Q4 and as soon as we saw their professionalism and importantly the FC platform and tools we were onboarded within days.
FC (and special mention for Brittany!) have been the easiest, friendliest and most helpful of the many 3PL partners we have worked with - I would even say the inbound and outbound shipping is easier than Amazon 'FBA' with goods are available to ship almost instantly upon receipt.
Questions are answered promptly and their platform is extremely efficient in working out optimal shipping carriers and rates. This is saving us time on volumetric calculations and complicated rate cards which frees up resource for other tasks.

Easy and effortless (most of the time)
We have been working with FC for more than 2 years, the onboarding was fast and uncomplicated, whilst everyday working was effortless - most of the issues could be resolved by chatting to the customer agents, and a resolution could be found.
The service of the fulfillment center, always performed and we had been able to ship with a variety of different carriers, optimising our cost structure throughout (DPD, Hermes, Royal Mail).
For any potential customers, who have an uncomplicated product this should offer you an effortless working-journey.
They had built out batch tracking for us, for perishables is a must. More complex orders where specific LOTs have to get picked, have to be raised and cannot manually be adjusted in the system. It is a work around, but does not cause too much hassle.
Unfortunately we had to part ways with FC, but this was purely based on the fact that we have had a business decision to make, due to customs problems.
I can recommend FC to anyone looking for an easy, cost effective operations.

A warehouse that doesn't manage FIFO
I've previously left a good review but have now discovered that FC are not carrying out a basic function expected of a warehouse service; they are not rotating stock.
For perishable products this is hopeless.
I've been pleased with the fast and reliable delivery service. However, I'm deeply unimpressed that using this warehouse may turn out to be an expense in terms of wasted stock.
Also we are billed based on long/medium/short term storage which now seems suspect given the stock management situation.
I would not currently be able to recommend FC on this basis.

We've had issues with them from the start. First, part of our stock has been "lost" although we were present in loading and counting the stock onto our courier vans (and the courier we've used to deliver goods is reliable and we've been working for years). They're constantly late on responding to urgent matters, prices are rising like crazy (this is of course also due to courier rising their prices due to petrol but NOT only). We're seriously considering switching to another provider.

Shopify integration? - DON'T BE FOOLED
My big toe is more integrated with Shopify then this 'Crowd'! 3 times we have been told our products have been uploaded - each time we find 100's of missing SKU's. It has been 3 weeks of constantly chasing them - receiving back continual out of office messages - they are obviously short staffed with poor tech. Message - dont confirm something is 100% completed when it clearly is not! Accuracy and attention to detail is crucial for logistics - they have neither. Product upload using spreadsheets is not integration. We have been using Veeqo tech for inhouse fulfilment for years and it pulls product and orders straight out of Shopify without this headache. We pulled the plug before sending stock - 3PL is supposed to ease workload not add to it.

1 Star - Do Not Recommend, there is no customer services provided by this business. If you have any issues, then you had to wait for a few months to get it solved by the team, who never care about their customers. They just ignore your email. Please Do Not Use fulfilmentcrowd and save your money in this case.

Update: Fulilment crowd hasn't solved any tickets for us, they just closed the tickets from their side, then I did sent email to them to ask, again, no reply. I did contact them via live chat or email more than 10 times for the past 1 month, not useful, no reply at all. Don't waste yout time and money to work with this business.
Please note that this is my first 1 star review because of the terrible services received, I don't normally provide negative reviews.

Oversold on capabilities, damaged goods, shipping errors
Our full feedback to FulfilmentCrowd:
1. We were oversold on the capabilities of the warehouse, which resulted in additional charges and delays to service start we had not accounted for. We were assured by your sales team that this would not be the case, but it ended up happening anyway with little apology from your side.
2. It’s always felt like your customer success & support team has been doing us a favour whenever we’ve sought support, to the point where we’ve actually felt bad reaching out.
3. Your finance team has been rather blunt with me on a small handful of occasions (not a huge thing, but it goes a long way)
4. There have been several discrepancies with the invoicing process which we have had to pick up on. I’m still convinced there are areas we have overpaid in.
5. The £20/week fee was implemented after we signed our contract, when it was too late to do anything about it
6. There were several instances where things weren’t explained to us - for example, when we set up our store as a channel, your team came very close to double-shipping a number of customer orders (which would have cost us a significant sum)
7. These concerns have all been raised during our time with FulfilmentCrowd but it felt like customer success was more concerned with pushing us down the pipeline and ticking off boxes than actually helping
8. Your advanced API was presented as a hidden charge. We were told in the initial sales process that we’d have access to these features.
9. On multiple occasions, empty boxes have been shipped to customers, and on our 2 test orders both arrived with gaping holes in the mailer bags.
10. Our stock was returned to us coated in a layer of black soot, rendering any stock we received back from you after cancelling totally unsalvageable.

Terrible Communication
We had a meeting with JXXXX CXXXX from your sales team 15th of Dec at 9.30am. But I could not get a calling. I sent an email to James at 9.34am and I get an automatic answer like this:
"Thanks for your message I will be out of the office until 15/12/21"
"Please contact me colleague AXXXX BXXXXX - a.xxxxxxxxx at fulfilmentcrowd.com who will be able to help you."
I forwarded my last mail to Anna and I got another automatic reply:
"I am currently out the office until Tueaday 14th December . I have limited access to my emails and i will respond as soon as i can."
I had tried to reach sales team via your phone number, the line was cutting after the choses.
I wrote it via email to your company and a few days later I got an email from SXXXX but he has no idea about this terrible situation.
I wrote to SXXXX the details at 10th of December and no surprise. He did not reply my mail.
