I initially started with Full Stack in April 2025 to help me pass the AFM exam (I passed at the first attempt). When I joined and experienced the level of teaching and the quality of courses I knew this was the community for me. If you want to become great at financial modelling or just improve your level of Excel with the guidance of great teachers and the support of a knowledgeable and fun community, this is for you too.

I highly recommend Full Stack Modeller to anyone serious about financial modeling.

The program provides a very strong financial foundation — not just in theory, but in how to actually build models that work in practice. What stood out most to me is the emphasis on the FAST standard. It fundamentally changes the way you structure, think about, and communicate models — making them clearer, more robust, and far more professional.

The only downside? I wish I had discovered FSM much earlier. After learning FAST, it’s honestly hard to go back to “normal” modeling — everything else just feels messy and unstructured.

Overall, if you want to level up from “can build a model” to “can build a professional-grade model,” FSM is absolutely worth it.

There are so many great resources here. I've really enjoyed the variety of plans available. The training courses are carefully developed and you can adjust them to your own skills and goals.

I joined Full Stack Modeller to improve and further develop my financial modelling skills, and consolidate my self-taught collection of modelling tools and experience, and wrap it up with some serious best practices. The training material is great - really clear and everything is helpfully explained. Even the areas where I was going over common ground there were new insights on how to supercharge those skills. And some of the new powerful techniques I learned were mind blowing to say the least, and opened up a whole new arena of what I thought was possible.

But beyond the great training material, the thing about FSM that has been of most benefit is the incredible community! When you are stuck on some challenging modelling, or just need some support from really relatable people, or want to nerd out on the latest excel feature, the FSM community is the place to go.

On top of everything else, the master classes have been a real source of new insight and it is a great resource for your professional develop, learning from people who are at the top of their profession in a way that I just haven't found to be accessible until I joined FSM.

Whether you are an already seasoned modeller, or at the beginning of your excel journey, there is something for everyone and I highly recommend Full Stack Modeller.

The courses are clear and practical, covering Excel, data visualisation and financial modelling, with plenty of hands-on learning. I also like that the lessons are pre-recorded, so you can slow down or repeat sections if something doesn’t click straight away. There are also masterclasses, webinars, bootcamps and monthly challenges, so there’s always something new to work on — and FSM consistently update content to reflect new tools, features and changes in the financial modelling world.

One of the biggest strengths is the community. You don’t just learn from the instructor — you learn from each other. There’s a real range of experience in the group, and the environment is supportive and collaborative.

Overall, it’s a well-designed programme with real peer support. I really enjoy being part of this community and would highly recommend it.

Full Stack Modeller is a fantastic learning resource and hosts an active community of financial modellers. From beginner courses in Excel mastery to complex project finance modelling and the modern Excel tech stack, the courses cover the entire spectrum. When I joined, I considered my skill level to be fairly advanced and I still get a huge amount of value from the membership. The workshops on modern Excel, excel fundamentals (wanted to finally get a grip on pivot tables I genuinely do not like working with) and automating month-end processes I visited were phenomenal. FSM holds bootcamps, webinars and masterclasses on a regular basis, where the who’s who of financial modelling and other distinguished topic specialists share their knowledge. Besides the regular courses, the collection of recordings from these events and workshops is another great resource, which I regularly revisit to look up certain topics. The founders Myles and Giles are not only extremely experienced and skilled professionals and teachers, but also very approachable and responsive. I highly recommend FSM to anyone looking to advance their financial modelling skills, from beginner to expert.
