I have been in the fund since October 2011 and at a price of 111.58. In that time I’ve bought and sold in very smooth transactions, the funds arriving in a promised timely fashion. Terry Smith ha... See more
Straightforward, transparent and easy to deal with. Great ROI too. I'll definitely use again.

Avoid this company ! Terrible customer service plus they take money off you in seconds but take literally weeks to give it back when you want it and create all kinds of excuses and hurdles as to why you can't have your money.

Account was frozen due to an issue they thought happened over a year ago. Sent them proof of documentation but customer service refused to reply for over 2 months. I raised a complaint which was supposed to be responded to within 3 working days but no reply. After 3 months I demanded to speak to a manager who fixed the issues that day. Terrible customer service, I don’t feel my money is safe anymore.

I used to love Fundsmith. However, now been waiting 20 days for pending withdraws. Their back office seems to be all over the place. Takes weeks to communicate with you. No one calls you back or even emails you. Even though i have made over 15 withdrawls they suddenly require proof of funds made back in 2014!!!

I transferred a six figure sum from Natwest to Fundsmith ISA. This was dealt with correctly. I transferred a five figure sum from Barclays To Fundsmith two years ago. This has been "lost".
I am happy with the returns, even now in this volatile market. Withdrawal does not take more than 5 working days and their customer support is great. Fees above 1% I consider high.
I made a withdrawal on the 18th March 2022. It is now the 30th of March, and I am STILL awaiting my funds!!!!!! What an absolute shambles Mr Terry Smith!! How can someone be so successful and have a 26 billion fund and get this side of the business so wrong??
I called their customer services on Monday as I received an email stating my cheque had been released last Friday (posted)
Looking at previous reviews, it looks like this is quite a common and recurring thing for Fundsmith customers! Nowhere near good enough Mr Terry Smith!!!!
Unbelievable Jeff!!!
Poor customer services, very unprofessional. Still waiting after two weeks, for funds to be released. Feel like I am constantly being lied to, and no straight answers as to why my funds have not been returned.
Given the size of the fund, I don't believe it is a scam, but I am certainly made to feel like it is, with the amateurs answering the phones.
Not so nice people when your a small investor.
Horrible experience of contact and lack of professional,
basic business practice let alone courtesy.
Great fund that you can invest straight into. Solid philosophy, great performance, okay fees.
18% p.a. or thereabouts average since 2010. Combined with the ISA option it's a 'no-brainer' for most savers in the UK.
Great fund.
Shockingly poor "updated" website. Supposed to be able to change bank details on the website now. It doesn't work, so you have to download a paper form, fill it in and send it off with a paper bank statement (who has these any more?) and wait for days.
For over 1% per annum charges I expect better than a 1990's website.
Edit. One week later, I receive an email saying they are "investigating" why I can't change my nominated Bank Account on the website. It's the same bank account from which my monthly contribution payments have been coming from for months!
I've now cancelled the monthly contribution Direct Debit as I am unwilling to commit further funds if I have no faith that I will ever be able to get my money back out!
