Lovely jacket
Shipped fairly quickly. The jacket is beautiful and the quality has seemed to have gotten better. Makes me feel so feminine. I’ll only keep buying from funky chef cause of how great it fits!

Unfortunately, the fabric isn’t all that great. After the first wash and iron, it doesn’t feel or fit as it should. I like the design, but the quality isn’t what I expected.

I like my jacket. The quality is great, its washing well and fits nicely. My only wish would be for a touch more length or maybe a "long" option. Still, I plan to purchase more.

Worth the hype
I've been seeing a lot of ads for funky chef for quite some time now. I decided to try them out finally. I ordered both a larger fit coat and size down and a snug fit coat. Both fit great! I followed their sizing instructions for each coat to make sure that I was getting the proper fit. They look great and they're easy to move in! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a more tailored coat.

Disappointed
Spends 130 for a chef coat to fit women and the jacket is like a crop top and the ties in the back are so short I can't even tie them when the jacket is off me.

Hi Lorinda, I'm really sorry to hear that the fit of your jacket wasn't what you were expecting, fit issues are understandably frustrating.
Our Raven jackets are designed to be fitted and do run small, so we often recommend sizing up by one or even two sizes depending on how you like the fit. Based on your feedback this sounds like a sizing issue rather than a fault with the jacket, which is something we're always happy to resolve.
We hadn't heard from you prior to this review, but I've reached out to you directly via email so we can arrange to either exchange the jacket for the correct size or you can return the jacket for a refund, whichever you would prefer.
We genuinely want every customer to feel confident and comfortable in their jacket and would really appreciate the opportunity to make this right.

So, I had to save up for a while to make this purchase, and boy.. was it worth it.. perfect fit.. and I actually mean perfect. I fully intended to have the coat altered, like I normally would, but there was no need. Also, my coat was supposed to be delivered on the 20th of January, but I actually received it 4 days early. More than the coat tho.. immediately after ordering the coat, I sent a email to funky chef. I was just so excited!! To my surprise, the founder of funky chef, personally responded to my email. After a few email exchanges, I was honored to learn more about her small business and some of the very generous work she has done through the St. John’s program.. I could go on and on.. but I’ll leave something to the imagination. I plan to save up more, and purchase more of her line. Thank you for giving dignity to the hard working women of our industry!
