I have since received my order today 4th July and everything is perfect. So it's just the Customer Service that's lacking....

I ordered a kit and then made another order. I wanted to cancel my first order, so emailed the company within a few hours of making the order. No response. I received both orders. I emailed again asking if I could return one, but again no response. I emailed again, but haven't heard back. The customer service is shocking and it is really unclear how to return things. On the website it says to get in touch with them and they will let you know about the return process, but they just don't respond.

My 11 year old left handed daughter has always wanted to crochet teddies. After watching YouTube videos and giving up in frustration I came across Fuppys by chance.
Wow the videos were so clear, they give you a choice between right hand and left hand instructions . My daughter made the penguin within a couple of days, followed by the monkey and the whale out of her birthday money. She has now progressed to following crochet patterns. Fuppys is absolutely brilliant for the beginner. We have had a couple of starter packs from other companies but always given up.
I have started now too and love it. If you fancy giving crocheting a go, Fuppys is by far the best place to start. X

Got this kit as a gift and I absolutely loved it! The instructions were super clear and easy to follow. Plus the videos are super well explained and literally guide you step by step. They even have a help section if you need more support where they share tips.

In overall very good kits for beginners who want to start a little handmade and cute activity to do :)

Appalling customer service. I've spent over a week trying to contact them for a refund, using their email address, WhatsApp and phone number. They replied once and said they'd generate a refund as soon as they received proof of postage and the item was returned. They haven't and since then, nothing.....however, they do seem to be able to send emails out to me to advertise sales....pity they're not that quick to refund me!

I started with Kayle the koala, having never crocheted before and I was really happy how it turned out! For my second kit, Pinguy the penguin, I felt much more confident. Love the that the kit arrive directly pre-started by hand, and also the videos are so clear to follow step by step.

The adorable little koala was my first go, and I absolutely loved making it! The video turotials that come with tje kit were super helpful, I felt like I knew what I as doing in no time.

Plus the kit came pre-started so no need to figure out how to start.

Honestly I'am so happy with this new activity and I just ordered the penguin and the whale.

Two kits purchased but we're clearly not meant to crochet. Neither of us managed to follow the videos to any degree of success and after a couple of frustrating hours on a wet afternoon, we abandoned them without hope, our efforts looking nothing like the starter piece.
This may be a case of 'it's us, not the kit' given the positive reviews, but I would suggest learning from a friend, in person if poss, or at least only buying 1 to see if it's your thing.

I purchased the Koala kit on the 11th February for an anniversary gift, ready for the 19th. However it is now the 19th and my koala is nowhere to be seen. I’ve emailed multiple times and used their chatbot to chase this up, but I never seem to get a reply.

I have received emails asking me to purchase more though.

Ordered the Nala the Whale kit on 7th Jan and it arrived on the 13th Jan, so delivery time was good for a small business. Life just got in the way of me being able to finish the plushie so poor Nala was sat on my desk as a finless, tailless orb for a couple of weeks...

The kits are absolutely perfect for beginners as they give you literally everything you need so for the price it's actually pretty good- maybe an option to buy just the patterns would be nice though too. The video instructions are great too, they are well paced so you don't feel rushed to make each stitch and it explains how to read the provided written pattern too. The yarn itself is good for beginners too, it's designed not to split or fray and stands up well to undoing stitches (aka frogging)

The only issue I had was I ran out of white yarn as I was tightening up the final stitches of the body so I had to look up how to join two different yarns to just get that last little bit finished- luckily I didn't embroider the eyes so I had the black yarn free to use, I've just got a small dot of black yarn on the bottom but you otherwise can't see it.

So at the moment I would absolutely recommend these kits to a beginner who hasn't already bought a load of hooks and yarn as otherwise they are quite pricey- as of writing 16/02/25 they are normally £29.80 each but are about to come off a £10 off deal. I probably won't buy another one for now myself as I feel I gained enough knowledge from the first kit to be able to make amigurumi from other patterns now.

I've made my first fuppys (pinguy) and I am so happy with how it turned out! I'd never crocheted before so the tutorials were a lifesaver. They are probably easier ones to start with, at a moment I felt like I am pro lol. Now I'm completely hooked!!!

My order never arrived. It has been one month. I paid just over 23 pounds for a kit and I have received nothing. I sent an email, I had no response from this. I then went on FB and received a response saying they would look into this and I have still heard nothing. I would avoid this company at all costs. I am so very disappointed.
21/2/2025- my order did arrive. I have to say once it arrived, the kit is excellent and I would say I would buy more but the only thing that puts me off is the delivery and lack of communication. I would recommend the actual kit. Just need to work on distribution and communication.

I just finished Nala The whale and she is sooo cute! It was super easy to make, I felt so proud when I finished it. I also offered one to my mom, she loves it too (my Nala comes out better than hers at the end hahaha). Tbh the videos were incredibly easy to follow. Now I am thinking of making the monkey.

Honestly I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. The pre started piece made a such difference, I could just pick it up and start without confusing 'where do I start?' struggle. The instructions were super clear and by the end I actually felt EXTREMELY proud of what I made!

After experiencing a long wait time and not getting replies to my emails. Fuppys did eventually reply and were very apologetic. Within a couple of days after their email reply, I received my order. I am enjoying my purchase, even though it did take a few weeks to arrive.

I ordered on the 22/01, and still haven’t received my order.

Communications are really slow, and when asked for tracking, they said it’s the EVRI one. I’ve been watching this daily with no changes.

Now on the FUPPYS website where you can track order, it says delivered - however it’s not.

I have received 3 different trackings, 2 x with Wanb Express, and 1 x EVRI. All I have been watching with no movement.

The delivery time is 5-6 days I was told via DM on Instagram, meaning my order should have been with me on 30th January if we just count business days.

It’s now the 2nd February, I have potentially no birthday gift for the end of the week, as this is needed by 07/02.

Really slow communications, and wouldn’t order again unless there was improvement.

UPDATE 03/02 - Got response by Instagram DM which said they’ve been having issues due to company growth and moving warehouses. Was told someone would be in contact on 04/02 at 10am with tracking for my order

UPDATE 04/02 AM - I messaged at 10:30am as I had not heard anything yet, and was told I would now receive tracking later on in the day, and this will be delivered tomorrow. I have not yet received any tracking at its nearly 11:30pm. Really not happy with the customer service received, doesn’t give me much faith that my order will be delivered tomorrow after all the faff and mess around I’ve had so far, with them constantly making excuses to what’s going on.

UPDATE 04/02 PM - Got tracking, and was delivered same day. All unboxed and looks good. Ready to be gifted Friday 07/02. Will update review was unboxed and unpackaged, and can confirm all is inside as should be. Was a stressful situation, just glad I now have the items ready for the birthday gift.

UPDATE 07/02 - All gifted and appears well, just need to get started on them now and hope all is there, and no issues with the contents of the sets. Thankyou for finally getting these too me, was a long stressful process, and would like to hope this will be learnt from as a business and improved for future orders/customers experiences.

UPDATE 10/02 - Pinguy the Penguin opened, and started! Excited to get stuck in!

UPDATE 15/02 - Halfway through the first one, recipient really happy so far, can’t wait to finish and do the other 4. Just hoping no issues when they come to unpacking them.

I never thought I'd be into crochet, but fuppys kit completely changed my mind! I never touched a crochet hook before (so I was expecting it to be hard) but the step by step videos were a lifesaver.Once I got the hang of it (10 minutes ahahaha), I found it so relaxing and rewarding, it's weirdly addictive!

The kit itself is really well put together, with a soft and clear instructions. I also had a small question and was super impressed with how friendly and quick customer service was. It's rare to find a brand that actually put so much care and energy with their customers.

In overall, I would definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for a fun and relaxing hobby!

I've always wanted to learn how to crochet but never had much luck following other 'beginner' kits. This one is great and I've finally managed to complete a kit and it doesn't look too far off the picture! The videos are easy to follow and make it as easy as it's ever going to be.

I also contacted the support for some help and they replied straightaway
