SCAM! They advertise luxury furnished apartments. I can get nicer furniture from COSTCO. Do not rent from this company. They are the WORST!!! They should be taken to court for all their mistruths.

I stayed at their property

I stayed at their property - the Woodward Apartment Building in DC, which they also advertise as Global Luxury Suites ant the White House. Where do I begin about my husband and I’s experience here. If you’re expecting a nice place, then you’ll surely be disappointed. We arrived at our place with multiple lights burnt out, large amounts of dust on the ceilings/light fixtures, a soap holder literally ripped off the shower wall, and what looked like water damage that warped part of the hallway by the kitchen. After unpacking after a long day we decided to wash off and realized we didn’t have hot water in either bathroom. We contacted the company and received no response. The next morning we talked to the front desk and they mentioned that the hot water was a building wide problem but mentioned it was fixed. We checked the water shortly after and we still didn’t have water. Maintenance came in and said a part was needed but at the moment there was warm water, it was barely lukewarm. The next day they came back and worked on the showers, they said it was fixed. We still had no hot water but barely any warm water. We contacted the rental company multiple times to get this resolved and they barely responded to us. When they did respond it was all lies like saying maintenance tried to knock but we didn’t answer that morning or that the problem was already resolved when they talked to the building. We were working from home the entire time. They never bothered to stop by. So therefore, these were never the case. So after 9 nights/10 days of no hot water, maintenance finally came back and fixed it. The Building’s property management even said that any attempts to try to repair the hot water prior wouldn’t have worked since they had to call an outside contractor to do the work and they officially “restored” hot water on Oct 23rd. That being said, we tried to communicate this with Global Luxury Suites customer service and when we asked for a refund for a portion of our stay they said that it would have to be coordinated with the billing department. After multiple follow up attempts they have gone completely silent and have not cared to respond. It’s unacceptable not to have any hot water for that long. If you think they’ll try to relocate you when stuff like this happens, they won’t care or try to help you. They do not take the necessary actions to ensure their guests have a comfortable stay or relocate them to other properties they manage in the area when this stuff happens. Good luck trying to get them to do anything even if you email them daily with updates about you not having hot water in your apartment. They’ll just continue to apologize for the inconvenience with no tangible actions to help you. I contacted Expedia to see if they can step in and advocate for some sort of partial refund and the property management company still has failed to reply back to discuss it. The customer service with this company bluntly does not care about you when things do not work in their apartments. I would avoid this place at all costs since you won’t get what you pay for, or receive the customer support/satisfaction that you truly deserve.

DO NOT BOOK. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I came to DC for business (3 weeks) and was hoping the listing was as described. Far from it! The apt had a strong cigarette stench all around, the couch, rugs were stained and there were blond hairs on rugs (I have black hair). The furniture has tears and stains and appliances are super cheap for the $3K price I paid. The balcony was dirty as well, the TV was not working properly, the shades did not close all the way down to have privacy etc etc. The noise (ambulances, police, fire trucks all day long) was unbearable and worse than in my hometown NYC! All this was reported to Global and nothing was done for several days. At the end only a few problems were addressed but not all and I had to endure a lot of aggravation + take time from work to wait for people to come to the apt to inspect and leave matters unresolved. This company operates under Global Luxury (Nothing luxury about the place) Suites and Churchill Living making it very difficult to communicate with them and to find the right person to get help. They use both names as business entities and I will be looking into these two companies before building my case to go to small claims (court). If you want to experience a nightmare and not enjoy your trip, this is the place for you.

Oh My God.....Do I have a story for my fellow Yelpers/humans even THINKING about staying at one of these properties.
So there I was being displaced from my apartment during COVID due to a lovely neighbor with a massive water leak. Found what looked to be beautiful long term rental apartments for my 1-3 week stay. NOPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEE. I checked in and while the property itself is beautiful, it's your classic bait and switch with very cheap appliances and furnishings inside the apartment. BUT WAIT THERES MORE. I ask and get approved for an extension for another week, no problem per the email traffic. In the afternoon a building lets himself into my apartment while I'm in there to collect keys! Nope, still living here. You think I'm done with this story, nope. I get another extension and AGAIN per email traffic I am "all set." Fast forward to 4 hours later, ANOTHER person walks into my apartment as I am getting dressed, but this time they've double booked my room! So they handed my keys to another person who made a reservation. The man obviously feels bad that he has just waltzed his way into my apartment. So obviously livid, I call downstairs and they are as incompetent as ever. I told them I am currently packing my belongings and leaving as my safety and privacy are clearly not on their mission list.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! As someone who understands the evil that lies out there. The fact that they hand out keys to occupied units like candy on Halloween is beyond me. The fact that it happened twice is also extremely alarming. Currently it has been "escalated" since its "alarming" to them however not "alarming" enough to be addressed within the last 3 hours.

Everything was great honestly

Everything was great honestly, there could be some improvements on the concierge service such as being more friendly, more helpful with queries guests may have, help on luggage from car to trolly and vice versa, giving more smiles ...

Other than that all was good.

Extremely pleased

We have booked an apartment in New York twice with Churchill, and both times have been extremely pleased with their customer service, quick response, clear communication and friendliness. We love the apartments we rented and hope to return next year.

Overall my stay was very good

Overall my stay was very good. The maid kept the apartment clean and I only had a few issues that I shared while staying in the apartment. There was an issue with spider webs, the shower head needed changing and the shower was peeling. The rest of the apartment was fine. Once notified of the issues, they were taken care of right away.
