An excellent afternoon of tea and singing!

I’m a musical performer who has been lucky enough to have performed at probably 10 Churchill Lodge properties in the last 4 years!
My latest was at Grace Lodge in Thornbury and it was a brilliant audience who sang along to every song!
Tracy Downham is the Lodge Manager and she arranged tea and cakes as part of the afternoon which enabled everyone to chat after the show!
An excellent afternoon for me and I’m sure it was for the owners!

I have visited the eddington Lodge on several regular occasions to clean for the owners of some of the apartment. I always have a very warm welcome and any queries I have are dealt with in a informative way. The owners I interact with are always commenting on how hard the manager (Pamela) works and how well looked after they are at eddington. It seems a very pleasant environment and is run very well, with lots of events on and a good community feels throughout. Always look forward to my visits at the lodge.

I have lived in Linden lodge since 2018. The staff have mainly been supportive, so living here has not been to stressful. I am able to meet most of the other residents in a normal week and we have the chance to discuss things. I enjoy playing contract bridge twice a week.

Wiltshire Farm Foods - Tasting

I came to do a food tasting at Amelia Lodge in Bristol, what a lovely place !!! I was so impresses with Luke the manager he made me feel really welcome and was on hand to help me when needed. He was so natural with all the residents that attended the tasting and they all seemed so comfortable with him. He sat with an elderly lady through the whole demo and even did the musical quiz with her. Lovely to see someone who really does care about his residents.

Irresponsible spending

The service charge where my relative lives has increased considerably. Costs for garden maintenance have increased by £10,000 per year (yes that's right, £10,000 more per year for a discretionary spend). What an irresponsible way to spend residents' money.

Thanks for your feedback. It's hard to respond in detail without knowing which development you are referring to, however we would highlight that the communal gardens are a very important feature of the developments we manage, and their landscaping and upkeep often means a lot to our owners. We always consult with owners on these costs to make sure we achieve good value for money whilst also ensuring they’re getting the standard of service they expect.

Lodge Manager

Lodge Manager: Sharon Wait. She has been coming in once a week to help out while we had no manager. She has been excellent in her approach. Very pleasant. Easy to talk to. Smiling & interested in all the residents in all 3 blocks. Any problem was sorted out on the day. I would love her to be our new lodge manager & speaking to other residents so would they.

A lovely experience in Thame!

A lovely experience in Thame! I came and quoted for a job at Yeats Lodge and the Manager Melissa was very welcoming and knowledgeable. At the time of my visit a big function was taking place in the lounge and the residents were friendly. I look forward to working with Mel in the future.

Overnight stay guest suite

We stayed in the garage suite on 14th March 2026 and had a great stay.

Abbie left the key for us and was very prompt in all her responses to us when making the booking.

The room was immaculate and very clean. The tea and coffee laid out was a nice surprise and very much appreciated.

We could not fault anything and will definately book again when we go and see my Father who resides there.

Thanks again Abi

Eleanor Lodge

15 months ago, after viewing numerous retirement apartments, I moved into Eleanor Lodge in Knowle. At this point I still had doubts about whether I was doing the right thing. Thankfully I immediately had support and reassurance from the Lodge Managers. They were welcoming, approachable, engaging and very helpful

I have continued to find Adele and Chris friendly, helpful and caring, whilst retaining their professional and businesslike approach on managing the development properly. I no longer worry about my decision about moving into a retirement apartment. We are tucked away but in close proximity to the vibrant High Street with doctor, dentist, independent shops, hairdresser etc all a few minutes walk from the front door.

Review on helen of hadley lodge.

Helen the lodge manager at hadley lodge is a great asset to your company but a bigger asset to us residents. For example one of our large refuse wheelie bins had a wheel broken due to our over zealous bin men and it took helen approximatly three months of constant chasing the council to get it replaced. When that one was delivered it was in such a disgusting state that another one had to be requested, this time a one in slightly better condition arrived. Helen is always available for any problem be it large or small and is always available to assist in any i.t.problems.

Excellent staff

I was made to feel welcome here at Coronation Lodge from the first day. Emma, the sales executive, had been supportive at very stage of the purchasing process. Stuart, the Lodge Manager, is excellent. He looks after the property, keeps his eye open for any problems, and responds to peoples’ requests. He is always willing to help people in any way he can, and he is always smiling and cheerful.

Do CEM actually care about old Housing 21 residents?

Yet again,it looks like the former Housing 21 residents are getting worse deal. What happened to "nothing will change"? Our Area Manager has suddenly slapped us with an additional £50 plus in our service charge for the contingency fund. We have never paid this before. I phoned customer feedback and was told to talk to our Area Manager. She claimed to have taken legal advice although we have not seen any evidence of this. However, the AM has been off sick since producing the service charge accounts. I mentioned this to the feedback person who repeated that I had to speak to the AM. I suggested to the feedback person that they were passing the buck and to my disbelief they said yes. Along with others from my property we have been told by Emma McCarthy in writing that our contingency fund is paid via exit fees and makes no mention of an additional payment. We still await confirmation that the service charge element should be scrapped. Some of the residents are refusing to pay this part of the payment until they have confirmation. CEM please pull your finger out and confirm the situation before more negative reviews appear.
