Extended Warranty Issue

The place was very nice and the staff were friendly. However, We paid $159.00 for an extended warranty on two sofa's we purchased. When we had to make a warranty claim, the staff said our warranty wouldn't cover the damage we incurred. When I pressed them, they said our warranty wasn't the 100% one. I told them it was the only coverage we were offered. When I asked them how much more the 100% coverage would've cost, they said $34.00. Amazing! Like we wouldn't of paid the extra $34.00 in the beginning. Especially if we were made aware of it. I'm not sure what or who to believe. My recommendation is to make sure you really question these guys before purchasing an extended warranty from them.

Nothing but trouble

Went in in response to "buy one get one free" Fathers Day Ad on sofas or chairs. First sign of trouble - salesman said the offer only applied to certain items, which in opinion were junk! After pointing out that no where in the ad did it say there were restrictions, we were able to negotiate buy one get half off a better quality item. Second sign of trouble was paying "paying cash " for delivery. We had just spent nearly $3,000 on two chairs and they couldn't spring the $39 for delivery! i am a disabled senior otherwise I would have just brought them home in my truck. Bought two power recliners with massage. One chair immediately had a problem, never have they offered to exchange it for one that is working! Instead one repair after another. Never again will I buy another stick of furniture from this place! I have also told friends and family to stay away from this place.

Thank you very much for your review. It helps us find out the things that we need to improve on to create a good customer service experience for our customers. We do our best to explain the terms and conditions of our sales on our print ads and to our customers when they come into the store. Sometimes when sales are restricted to certain items it is easier to point them out to our customers in person than it is to have to list each individual item on our ads when there might be a whole lot that are included. I will make sure to explain in further depth as best I can when creating term for ads to they are more easily understood by the customer. We are sorry to hear you did not like any of the items that were included in the Fathers' Day Sale, but we are very happy that a member of our sales team was able to find what you thought was a better quality item and give you a buy one get one half off discount! We are sorry that we were unable to extend free delivery to you at that time with the discount that we gave you on your chairs. Unfortunately, delivery sometimes comes at a high cost to us (especially with high fuel prices in the past) and it makes it hard to offer free delivery, even though we wish we could for everyone! Depending on the manufacturer of the item, we have to try to repair items before they are replaced as it is a much more cost effective solution, especially when it comes to mechanical elements of motion furniture because when those parts are replaced it does not effect the structural integrity of the furniture. We are sorry to hear that you will not be returning to our store and do hope that you change your mind. Thank you again for bringing these issues to our attention so we can continue to work on our terms and conditions when it comes to sales, our free delivery policies and the quality of furniture that we keep on the showroom floor.

Excellent Service

Great customers service from the girls at the front desk. They where very professional & prompt in answering any questions & tranfering me to the warehouse.
When I went to pick up my furniture, the guys in the warehouse where such gentlemen. They helped me load all my merchandise in the truck and made sure it was very secured.

Warranty

The warranty you sell for furniture damage is bogus. We had something happen to it and the company said it's not covered. I wasted $150 dollars of my hard earned money. The sales person was very nice.

bad service

I ordered Tawny sofa which, according to the description given on the Furniture USA website, includes “sleeper features” - easy to lift mechanism and innerspring mattresses”. The linked webpages also provide several complementary photos of the sleeper features of the product. In order to make sure the product does include sleeper features, I called Furniture USA prior to ordering it. Sales person
confirmed it was sleeper sofa. Nevertheless the sofa shipped to me did not have the sleeper features, which I clearly requested on phone before ordering the product. I was also unable to convince the company to pick up the wrong item and refund me. All they proposed was that I would ship the item back on my own expense and pay the restocking charges. All this, of course, made no sense, considering the shipping charges both ends plus restocking almost amounts for the total value of the product. Bad, bad service.

Great place to get furniture!

I love the peices here! The people here help you with everything and really do look out for you. I did the RAC acceptance program and its a 90 day no interest but after that period the interest is killer! I have bought sofa set and bedroom set from USA furniture and so far I feel like it's great quality.

Insurance is a waste

Don't bother to buy the expensive additional insurance. They will not come and fix it and the will give you a bogus excuse. U will never purchase furniture here again. Do yourself a favor go to Costco!!!

Bad customer service

The sales rep assisting us was just Not present. He was a Hispanic guy named Victor. We kept asking questions and all his answers were yes or no. He didn't bother to expand on any of it. Not only that, but when we picked up our furniture, the legs on one of the couches were missing. After calling, and calling for the next few days, we just couldn't get him to help us. finally the manager was helpful and said they would ship us the legs. Not only that, he said he can drop it off at my house. I've had a good experience here before but the encounter with Victor was not pleasant.

Horrible experience!!! horrible customer service!!!!

I would highly recommend buyers to make sure you check every product that is delivered! Do not keep any product that is defective and don't fall for their exchange BS. This is the second time I was screwed over by this horrible company! I will Never ever shop here again!!

Staff Behind the Counter

I love the Sectional sofa I purchased there, but when I had a question, the gentlemen behind the counter was rude and not very helpful.

I wanted to inquire on whether they would beat any of the competitors prices. Becks had my sofa for $1200 if I paid cash and Furniture USA
had it for $1400.00. I had put $1000 down and had to finance the remainder of it. So I was hoping they would match Becks price. They said, I had already placed the order and I could not get my deposit back.
I do like their furniture, but it would be nice if they were a little more approachable. I still Love my Sofa!
