Avoid.

Ordered in October. Chased several times. Response was unprofessional, littered with mistakes and vague responses.
I then cancelled the order. Was told I’d get a refund but nothing. Chased but still no joy. Interestingly a 3rd party then contacted me to tell me they have my order, but can’t send on because Furnwise owed them money. Read between the lines. This company sound like they are in financial trouble but are still taking orders without fulfilling them. I’m taking my case to UK Trading Standards. Avoid.

Appalling!

I ordered a coffee table in October. No tracking number was sent and eventually, after many emails, I was told the carriers had lost it. I requested a refund. They eventually confirmed it had been processed but still no refund in my account 2 months later. They have now stopped replying to my emails! Extremely disappointed and frustrated. They are still in possession of £345 of my money.

Scammers - charged but haven’t received goods

Awful company to deal with. I have been charged and not received a lamp I ordered on the 4th November. Website said it would be dispatched within 7 days. I have emailed them on several occasions with emails back saying they handed to courier so maybe it’s lost. They have said they will keep chasing but this is nearly 7 weeks ago. They have ignored my latest emails requesting a refund so I am going to try and raise with my bank. Absolute horrendous company, do not but from them if you want to receive your goods.

Dreadful experience

Dreadful experience. Ordered two barstools for nearly 3 hundred pounds. Apart form the order confirmation email no other contact until we received an email saying the order had been cancelled and no reason and I would receive a refund within 48 hours.I am still waiting 2 weeks later and no reply from customer services. I have started a case with Pay Pal. Not sure what is happening to Furnwise I have used them in the past many times and been very satisfied so didnt read the recent reviews wish I had!!!

Absolutely disgusting company!!

Absolutely disgusting company!!! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Made a purchase (should have checked the reviews first, my mistake) contacted the company after no shipping updates were given. Told there was a delay, after more delays and more delays. Then was offered a refund, told it was processed then the following week told that if I haven’t received it then they can refund by PayPal but if that doesn’t work then they need my bank details!!! Although they already have my details of the original payment method, so why can’t they just refund me!! Now they are not responding to my emails. I will be contacting my bank (credit card) to make a fraudulent claim.

AVOID SCAMMERS

AVOID - SCAMMERS

Please take note of this review and avoid this company at all costs.

My experience with this company is almost identical to the stories of many others on here. I ordered dining chairs - Following payment I received no tracking information and no proof that the items had been sent. When I reached out by email, I was initially fobbed off and told they would chase the tracking number and get back to me - No reply back! After a further few weeks and more emails Furnwise replied again blaming the currier company and stating “has currier not got in touch yet?” The responses were very unprofessional and the poor spelling and grammar led me to believe I was probably communicating with scammers. I therefore requested a refund and then this Is when the communication stopped.

I then received an email from someone proclaiming to be the supplier of Furnwise and stating that they are holding my items and will release the items at a reduced cost

Lesson learnt - Always read trust pilot reviews before purchasing from unknown companies. I could have saved myself a lot of stress and hassle. If you have ordered furniture via this company then my advice is get in touch with your bank ASAP and request a refund.

AVOID!!!!!!!!!!

Appalling customer experience, do not recommend

I wish I had read the reviews here before making my recent purchase. I received absolutely no information about when my item would be dispatched. After contacting them several times I received an email saying they would send tracking information but this never materialised. Only after sending further communication in which I notified them I had no choice but to do a charge back via my bank did I receive a reply saying that they would refund before concluding the email to say they “hope they get the items back from the carrier or any form of compensation from them.” Just a fairly rubbish customer response really.

Then lo and behold, another company affiliated with this lot reach out today with the following:

Dear Furnwise customer,

As the supplier of Furnwise, I write you this email.

Unfortunately your order was cancelled on Furnwise.co.uk and you received a refund.

Due to an unavoidable circumstance, Furnwise had financial issues and could not pay off the open amount at our side.

As the supplier of Furnwise we had your items in our warehouse waiting for shipment. If you like to still get them, please contact me for an offer.



We would like to offer your order directly to you so we can ship your order; for a better price.



You might be cautious after your refund on Furnwise, so please check us online. We have over 15.000 positive reviews on Trustedshops.



If we can assist you to still get the products you like, please contact me directly.

Avoid ordering from this company

Dire. Avoid. Ordered side table on 1 December with 7 days delivery. Zero communication about order and delivery. 10 days later, on 11 December order was cancelled without any explanation and money refunded. Item still showing as in stock and for delivery in 1-2 weeks. Order 76962. A complete waste of time. Experience seems similar to others who have ordered from Furnwise.

**UPDATE** Having been notified of a refund being processed on 11 December, on 16 December have been notified by PayPal that the refund has failed.

**FURTHER UPDATE** Was contacted on 16 December by supplier of item to Furnwise who advised “Due to an unavoidable circumstance, Furnwise had financial issues and could not pay off the open amount at our side and closed down their webshop”. It would appear this company is in financial difficulty. Proceed with caution!

WARNING

WARNING - DO NOT TRUST THE GOOD REVIEWS ON HERE!!!

I placed an order 4 weeks ago, I’ve had no communication about my items being dispatched or when they will be delivered. I chased this via email after a week of not hearing anything, and the very amateur emailer I received a response from stated that they would send me tracking details - and another 3 weeks later I’m still waiting. No items, no communication since…
The very few emails I did receive from them, had no name to sign off the email, there were spelling mistakes and no professionalism.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY.

I used PayPal so I’ve raised a dispute with them and am HOPING to get a refund if they can’t resolve this issue.
If I don’t get anywhere then I will be going ahead with legal proceedings.

Frustrating is an understatement

I placed an order for 2 bar stools and 2 dining chairs. All arrived much later than they said to start. After opening all the packing, I was extremely disappointed to find no fixings to be able to put the bar stools together!! I contacted their support, who said they have sent out new fixings (but asked if I had checked the box before hand lol) and over a month later still no fixings, despite the several chase emails to get them. Who sends out furniture with no fixings.

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company. You will not receive any goods. I am currently starting legal proceedings through trading standards. No response to emails, no update on shipping. Ludicrous this company is still allowed to trade in the uk. If Furnwise would like to respond to this review rather than my emails. My order number is ORD71289

No contact, no goods!

Same issue as a lot of others - order placed on 9 November and no updates despite attempts to contact via email, online enquiry form and Facebook. Chat is offline and no phone line. Highly frustrating and very disappointing, especially after having a good experience with the company previously.

No delivery, no updates, how not to run a business

Placed my first ever order with FurnWise on 10th November as loved the style of their furniture. I placed an order for 1 barstool for my new kitchen to see if its suitable in the hope to order 4 more.
3.5 weeks later and lots of emails sent, I have no bar stool delivery and only 2 unhelpful standard replies, and NO updates or tracking information.
Very disappointing indeed.
I have no choice but to write this negative review and will be cancelling my order.

Great customer service

I made an order with Furnwise a few months ago and received my item within the given time and well packaged. The lights are absolutely beautiful. I have since emailed them to ask for a VAT receipt and received one straight away. I cannot fault this company and would highly recommend them, not only for their customer service, but for the actual item. The lights were definitely well worth the price and very unique.

Terrible communication and never got my order

I placed my order 14/10/24. Customer support stated it would take about 7 days to fulfil (ORD71165)

Two weeks later and still waiting for the order of coffee table at which point customer support said they did not know the date when it would be delivered but would get back to me asap when they have info - then I got no comms from them afterwards.

Now a month has passed and I sent multiple emails asking for a refund as I do not want to wait any longer, but no response from anyone.

Avoid the company as they cannot specify delivery dates and in case of problems, they don't respond.

They take your money don’t deliver & don’t refund!

See below experience: Bought £315 worth of lights that were not delivered they accept their errors and then they fail to process a refund. Read on…..

If you aspire to become a great company EVERY part of your customer chain has to be excellent. They have zero customer service and don’t respond to emails. Sent 2 chasing an order that should be dispatched in 7 days. ORD71293 Refers. Shocking service. Great website but don’t be fooled they are either financially strapped, have supply chain issues or simply don’t care about you as a customer after you’ve given them your money.
I just want what I purchased, still awaiting any news on £250 worth of lights. If I don’t have some basic communication I will be seeking to recover my money.

Avoid this company!

Update: Had an email saying they’d chase up the tracking number and send it me - you’ve guessed it - they haven’t sent the tracking number and funnily enough the delivery guys haven’t delivered it either. Think someone’s personally carrying it to my address.

With excellence as standard with SO many companies why is it different with these guys? You make your own mind up. 🤔

Further Update: excuse after excuse shocking slow email led customer service and no process of refund after end of exhaustive efforts on my part to have my purchase delivered. These are a perfect example of how not to run an internet based company. Avoid at all cost. 😡

Now claiming money back from my credit card.

Another unhappy customer

As others, I am having great difficulties getting a reply to emails and there is no telephone number to contact them - in future I will avoid any company who fails to show a telephone number. Have they gone bust?

Dont know how this has trust pilot high…

Dont know how this has trust pilot high rating. I ordered 20th Oct 4 bar stools suppose to delievr in 7 days. still showing awaiting shipment. I have emailed several time, web chat not working which seems dubious, beginning to think they have gone bust. They dont respond to any type of email. If they have a problem with supplier then they should say at least you know still in business. If no response soon I will be requesting charge back through bank

Dreadful company

Ordered a table lamp 27th October and payment cleared next day. Website says despatch in 7 days. Have heard absolutely nothing from company. Chatline continually off. Have asked to be told if item will be sent this week. If not, to cancel and refund. But don't even know if they are monitoring. Avoid this company like the plague.
