Lack of communication

I did not want to have to write this review but Furnwise have failed to respond to my e mail so they have made the decision for me. I ordered a coffee table on 27/10 the website stated 7 day shipping. I heard nothing so emailed them on 30/10, after reading some dreadful reviews. They replied the following day saying they had problems with their carriers and they would send me the tracking details. On 7th November my account still said ‘awaiting shipment’ which it still says today and I have received no tracking details, so I emailed again asking for my order to be cancelled and I asked for confirmation of this and I have heard NOTHING!…
I am so disappointed and now have the hassle of doing a chargeback with my credit card company. I want company’s to survive in the current difficult financial climate, but courtesy and communication cost nothing. Please respond to this by confirming my £405.90 refund has been processed. Absolutely awful customer service

Absolutely awful customer service. I have placed an order for barstools over one month ago. I was told that my item should have been dispatched yet I have not received my order. They do do provide a contact number and have stopped email communication with me. I am still waiting for my refund and will start legal action if not received soon. Avoid this company at all cost.

Order items mid October

Order items mid October. No delivery. No response to about 9 emails. They do not have a telephone.

The full refund still has not been paid. The Furnwise response is not correct. Still waiting for £800

I wouldn’t give one star, zero customer service! No responses to emails. No update on order status, an in stock item and still waiting over a week for dispatch. Awful company and suspect I will have to request charge back :-(. Order ref ORD71252

Avoid being disappointed

I have had no choice but to give a 1 star however I would not have given this company any stars.
I ordered a light fitting on the 23rd Oct.
I had read that the turn over time was 3- 5 days
I contacted customer services via the contact form on the website and I received no response.
I emailed them directly and received a response stating my item had been packed and handed over to the courier that the customer service team would return to me with shipping details.
That was 5 days ago and my item is still awaiting shipment.
As I have had email communication and I still have not received what I have paid for I will have our bank reverse payment.
This is not the service I was expecting and would advise others to avoid and heed caution. Please use another company

Terrible service and communication

I ordered a set of mango wood pendant lights 4 weeks ago expecting them to be delivered within a couple weeks. I am still waiting, after sending a few emails and waiting days for a response saying that they will update me with delivery details. I would now just like a refund so that I can buy lights from a more reliable and professional company.

Annoyed is a understatement

I’m highly disappointed with the service that I have been charged for, the website clearly states “Shipped within 24hr” and I’ve paid £5.95 for the privilege.

At no point have I been told that the item is out of stock and when looking at my account it states “Awaiting Shipment” which I am not very happy about.

ORD71141 was ordered and paid for on the 10th October and I am still waiting for tracking of my delivery.

Would avoid like the plague!!!

I’ve applied for a refund through PayPal after reading the other reviews and decided to cut my losses and get my money back.

“Customer service team” (term used loosely) has been in touch after I wrote my review to say “We can resend, cancel and refund whatever works best for you” Funny because they haven’t even sent the first one I ordered so yes please can I have my money back and cancel the order.

The best of all was the final statement of the email…. “can you perhaps remove your review?” Ummm 🤔 let me think about it. NO! No, I will not be removing the review as it is an accurate account of my experience with your company.

Emailed twice about an order placed…

Emailed twice about an order placed last week. No updates and no response to emails. Says only way to contact is by email, but they then don’t respond caution advised.

Order placed - no comms!!!

Order placed - website states it will be shipped within 7 days….this was weeks ago now and it says my order is still awaiting shipping.
I have emailed twice with no response - your website says you’ll respond in 24 hours???
Please can someone get back to me ASAP- I just need some communication!!!!! awful service experience, simply not good enough!!!!!

Ordered light 6 weeks ago and it still…

0 Stars: UPDATE: Still no action from FURNWISE -
8 weeks and 8 emails later, I have still not received any resolution to my issue. I think this company must be a fake company. I am legally reporting them as their service is fraudulent. Grave concerns.

Ordered light 6 weeks ago and it still has not been delivered. I don't mind the delayed delivery so much, but when I enquire about the order, I get a lovely email back from the customer service team stating that they will investigate asap and they have never proactively got back to me or resolved the issue. I have emailed them four times now and I am still getting the same response i.e. they will investigate and if they cannot find the product, they will reship it. Needless to say, the product has still not been found and they have not shipped another product. Shocking to have such terrible service in this day and age. I'm really disappointed.

Terrible Customer Service

We ordered some chairs from this company, which we didn’t end up liking so decided we’d like to return them. Tried contacting the company multiple times to get a return label via email, twitter, instagram but cannot get a response. This is disgraceful. As a last resort I am hoping someone can reply to this review!

After I complaint about my broken 3…

After I complaint about my broken 3 Rock lamps I received an email that the items will be replace. to my surprise I received my 3 Rock lamp today in good condition.
However your delay response to customer is poor and this will lead to bad reviews.
I appreciate you guys and I withdraw my earlier post.

STAY AWAY!!

STAY AWAY!!! Please do not order from this company, it is a joke and has had me in tears for weeks! I purchased a lamp for over £245 and when it came it was broken and also not even as the pictures showed. I emailed and emailed for weeks but heard nothing. Once I got Paypal involved they finally agreed a refund once they get the item back but I am expected to pay the cost of the return. Also even though it is a .co.uk website they have requested I return the goods the the Netherlands. Due to the size and weight of the lamp I can not find any currier to accept it so even if I was to cough up for the return just to receive my money back it isn’t an option. I am a single woman running a house all on my own and this was a cost that I could not afford to loose on an item that is not as described and damaged. Please please stay away!!!

Not what is says on the tin!

This is a somewhat belated review as when we bought the so called "industrial bar stools" for £180 I was somewhat doubtful as to their longevity.

These are not INDUSTRIAL and wouldn't last 5 minutes in a pub. Same quality as what you can now get on Amazon for £70 to £90 for a pair.

I actually had to shorten the screws fastening the seat as they were too long and you could feel them sticking into your bum!

They have squeaked on the central mechanism since we got them, not the end of the world but annoying.
The central mechanism wear was obvious very quickly and 2 years on one has collapsed and the other unsafe so we don't use.

In my book false advertising as not industrial just cheap run of the mill bar stools. Well fleeced.

One star as couldn’t give zero

One star as couldn’t give zero, delivery driver literally threw the goods at me and took a photo of the good side of the damaged box! I had to ask him to come back and take a photo of the damaged side! I have mailed the company several time no response no acknowledgment! I have photo graphic evidence ! Do not buy anything from this company after sales service is non existent

Sham company with no customer service

Don't buy from this company. My orders arrived later than expected and damaged. No response from the seller through any of the limited channels they have - no phone number. The website return process is clearly a sham because I've you enter the details and click on 'more info' it just takes you back to the home page.

Beware of this company!

Beware of this company. They are ignoring all my messages via email, Instagram and Facebook and their chat is offline. I ordered 4 chairs and the colour was completely wrong. They sent me the returns paperwork but, when I checked with Post NL how the delivery was progressing as we hadn’t received our money back, they told me Furnwise had the import link but it had expired as Furnwise hadn’t paid for it! Post NL are now having to send me back 4 chairs I do not want and I am over £700 out of pocket. No telephone number to call them. Am going to Trading Standards.

BUYER BEWARE — Scam company

Please keep your money and buy from a legitimate company - not scammers like Furnwise.

Paid for an industrial lamp via the website, stating 2 weeks delivery. That was 6 weeks ago - took my money and since heard nothing.

Have been trying to contact the company, but can’t get a reply (checked junk folders after reading other reviews - nothing).

Tried contacting them via their instagram page, nothing.

Enough is enough so have raised it with HSBC as fraud.

Please don’t make the same mistake as me and others reporting similar. Don’t throw your money away.

Industrial floor lamp

Item took longer than expected but quick response and good communication when I queried delivery time.
Lamp is stunning and definitely worth the wait. Really solid, good quality lamp. Would recommend Furnwise.
