Vultures

Vultures, praying on peoples minor indiscretions and fining the crap out of them, punitive punishment for parking errors, these crooks need outlawing!
And of course they are tagged on with a nice smiley legal firm who can chase and harass you for up to 6 years.
They make the clampers look honest.

Now as they requests for owners details are last year at 30,000,000 requests (thats 60% of the drivers in the UK) its time to start writing to your MPs to get these crooks and others like them shut down.

Fined for parking when it’s Free!

Fined for parking at a time when parking is clearly signed as free of charge - appealed 3 times asking for the charge to be dropped, or for evidence to prove the charge is valid, only to receive the same automatic response repeating the same each time. I am happy to continue repeating myself and continue to dispute it but it’s the other people who might feel less inclined to do so and just pay up that I want to fight for - want to stop the ability to just bully money out of people.

Thieves. Scammers

They have a sign up saying 3 free hours parking on match day. Then fine me for parking there for less than 3 hours on a match day. The “independent arbitrator” thing is a scam and a waste of time.

Terrible company

Terrible company
I ensure most parking charge companies have the worst reviews, because they are all terrible. Making money by ruining someone's day is the worst thing you can do in this climate, considering we are in a cost of living crisis and have no shame in charging £100+ fines for being over by 12 WHOLE MINUTES. You are a disgrace, and I hope you never have to deal with something like this because your inflated capitalist dystopian egos ensure even parking your vehicle to have a coffee is a crime.

Disgusting company

Disgusting company. A scam. Left car park within 30 minutes & had to pop back to same store later. Penalty fine as said I’d been in car park 115 minutes. Appeal process dire. So cross that retailers are using/employing this disgusting company. How can they be allowed to continue scamming hard working people in this country?

I’ve called B&M, they help with appeal, even have standard wording response. That’s what an issue it is!!

As a tradesman

As a tradesman, I visited Homebase selly oak, Birmingham store for customer parts- at 10.00am and again at 14.30 in the afternoon on the same day on 9th April 2024
I received a parking charge notice fine for £100!!!!
Date of the fine letter was 17th April, but not received until 27th!!!
Fortunate for me I had both receipts, not only showing my timed visits at the checkout, but highlighting their faulty clocks/camera system.
This was appealed with receipts sent.
A prompt reply said this has been waived....no apologies or that they would look into the faulty monitoring equipment.
Bunch of amateur cowboys!!!!!
Beware shoppers- keep your receipts

I received a ticket for parking in a… carpark !!!

I received a ticket for parking in a G24 car park in Albion Way Blyth, where one of the shops had extended their hours for Christmas from 9pm till 10 pm. I have been informed by the debt collection agency that sent me a fine for £170 that I was parked at 9.27pm for 15 minutes. Therefore I WAS legally parked, I am not paying G24 their ludicrous fine and I am looking forward to my day in court. I would like to hear from any one who finds themselves dealing with this company and feel that they have been treated unfairly I will post the outcome of my experience on Trustpilot once my case has been heard.

Scumbags!

This company represents everything that is wrong with our society today! 10minutes late back to my car as I was helping a elderly gentleman in a shopping centre and they charge £100…didn’t even receive a first notice with a chance for discounted payment…on a site that doesn’t charge for parking so you can’t even extend your time with an extra payment…scum bags!

Avoid any carpark operated by this company. A genuine visit to multiple shops and got stung for overstaying. As my car is through a lease company, they paid it without me being able to challenge it. Why are businesses outsourcing their carpark Management to crooks like these, puts me off ever shopping in person and doing everything online.

G24 - scam company? or genuine mistake?

I parked my car legally on 8th March in the Central Six Retail Car Park, Coventry much as I have been doing once a month on average for probably some 20 years... The car park gives you three hours FREE PARKING. For some reason G24 Ltd have issued me with a "Contractual Parking Charge Notice" stating that I have breached the terms & conditions of the car park. As far as I can see nothing has changed over 20 years and you are still allowed three hours free, I am therefore at a loss to know what terms & conditions I have breached as the car was there properly parked for less than two hours. All the notice ordering me to pay £70 says is that I "parked and left the site"... This is vague and stupid as surely every car that parks there does this??? Maybe this is a scam, but the form looks genuine with two photos of my parked car taken within ten seconds of each other, the second one being of the dashboard but as there are no metres to pay/display a ticket I'm not sure why they bother with the second photo. I will of course not be paying the fine and I'm looking forward to them trying to enforce this notice...

Shoppers beware

This company, for some unknown reason, delayed sending the parking charge for three weeks, thus leaving me only a few days to pay. Therefore, my cheque was sent the same day the parking charge was received.

My family and I have made many purchases at Wickes. My belief is that G24 is being run by a bunch of greedy, heartless crooks. This opinion is shared by the many many reviews on Trustpilot - that G24 is a scam company. They could have simply installed a pay machine or barrier, but have instead chosen to charge hundreds of pounds.

The car park is never overcrowded, nor are customers prevented from parking. In fact, the site could hold an army platoon. For several years the car park has been free for 90 minutes and I have never exceeded this time frame. Other, elderly and disabled, people obviously use the hospital end of the car park for occasional appointments. Imagine their distress when they receive a charge for £100!

This company cannot be legal.

This company cannot be legal.

I have been trying to pay the fine they sent me, but they got my reference number wrong. There is no way to contact them, the phone number was useless as they needed my reference number to put me through (which again was wrong), I tried emailing and going through the website with no answer.

I now have a letter from debt collectors and no way of receiving any help or advice.

Sham of a company

Sham of a company i was parked on a Wickes car park, had no idea when you visit a store like this that you even have to pay for parking, the reason i was there that long as i had a consultation for a new kitchen which takes some time. I wont be paying this, even Wickes themselves have said they are disgusting.
