Simple and easy to use web-site that allowed me to value iPod in shorter number of steps than other similar sites. Clear instructions to complete the transaction. GP paid as and when promised. Could n't ask for more.
Gadget Panda make big promises on their website, but they don't deliver - and their customer service is awful.
I sold them my near-mint 160GB iPod Classic, which I had owned for only a few months, as it was just gathering dust sitting in a docking station. After sending them the item via Royal Mail Signed For on August 28th, I did not receive either the money I was quoted or even an acknowledgement that my parcel had arrived with them.
I contacted them 3 or 4 times through the website, enquiring about my order, but got no response whatsoever. I finally got a reply from the company after more than a month. They claimed that it had a hard drive fault, and revised the offer price to £5. I was appalled - I knew, after all, that it worked fine as I'd tested the iPod myself before sending it - and informed them that I'd contact Trading Standards if they continued to mess me around. They returned the iPod to me and, lo and behold, I have since tested it on iTunes and it works perfectly.
The only good thing I can say about my experience with Gadget Panda is that I'm glad it's over.

GadgetPanda gave the best price for my Apple iPad even beating Apple's own trade in price!!
I placed the order and as I lived locally I asked if I was able to drop it off in person so I didn't have to pay out for postage. I expected the answer to be the usual corporate no but Gadget Panda said YES!!! Extra bonus point.
Once dropped off I received a confirmation email that evening and the next day I had the money.
Would definitely recommend GadgetPanda to anyone.
I sold my old phone,got the price quoted to me before posting them my phone and got paid straight into my bank account. Only minus is that you have to pay for postage yourself. When you compare prices for your phone, take this into account when you are looking for the best deal.

A good service but if you want a cheque it takes ages (took 11 days to come) and will obviously take another 5 to clear so don't do the cheque thing if you are in a hurry. That's longer than they said on the website.

I sent my iPad on a Thursday, had an email two days later to say it was received, and by Tuesday I had the £££ in my account.

I was asked the question by gadget panda how can we improve our service, in my opinion the service does not need to be changed at all, excellent service from start to finish, took less than 2 days to have my mobile converted to cash!
Good price given for my gadget and the money was in my account in 3 days
they gave me the best price out of all the big recycling companies and once they'd received the phone the money was in my PayPal account within 48 hours as they promised. Have now sent an older phone as again they've offered the best price
Very easy to deal with in terms of the process, however, they made up that there was a scratch on the phone (which there wasn't, I photographed it before sending off) and reduced the payment by a massive 20%. Taking the mickey somewhat but I just went with it for minimum hassle. They did offer to send it back for free.

After constant pestering by the company I feel obliged to reply.
The whole point of an independent review site is that a customer can score what they believe to be a fair representation of the company.
The "crack" on the bezel is perfect and straight, looks like the intended "crack" on the iPhone 4 (see the antenna configuration). I believe it certainly comes under the "Light cosmetic wear and tear is acceptable" policy on your website.
Another reason for not rating 5 stars is your policy on "automatic payment after 5 days" if the offer has been revised. I feel that this time period is too short if the customers best interests are in mind.
"3 stars: acceptable experience but with some friction." is a fair representation of this transaction.

Good service from start to end, booked online, sent tablet off and within 2-3 days of Gadget Panda receiving I had word the money was transferred to my bank account, very happy with an effortless process and would use again :D
GadgetPanda offered me the best price I could find for my old iPod, they kept me informed with emails on receipt and after testing, and paid the promised amount very promptly. An excellent experience.
I was completely un satisfied with the service, I had to email them multiple times in order to get my check through the post. Not only that but my iPod must have broke in the post so I got under half of the money i should have got.

This is my 2nd time i have used Gadget Panda, and yet again service was excellent. Phone sent Tuesday and Friday money in the bank. Was told how my order was going all the way through. So again no complaints from me and got the price stated for my mobile phone.
I sent my Sony Xperia Z to gadget panda only to receive an email saying they couldn't accept it as one of the water indicators had changed color. I was shocked to hear this as I hadn't even tested the waterproof capabilities of the phone and it had never even been anywhere near water.
When I received the phone back I along with my wife opened all the flaps covering the ports on the phone and all the water indicators were still white. I emailed gadget panda back but was told that at least two people check each phone received and they were adamant that one of the water indicators was red. They suggested I check again which I did and they are definitely all still white.
I again emailed and was told that as they no longer had the phone they could not verify this.
So I wasted money on postage sending my perfectly ok phone to gadget panda only to be told a lie as to the received condition.
Something has obviously gone wrong with their checking procedure and now they are insinuating that I have dodgy eyesight or that I haven't checked all my phones ports or that I am lying.
This whole experience has been a waste of time and effort and I have paid postage costs for no reason. I am not happy and am in the process of finding out what my rights are and taking this matter further.
After various emails I have had my postage fully refunded and I thank gadget panda for that.
