New Account Failing

Applied March 20. Emailed notification on March 24 that funds to open $50K acct. were received. Processing payment would take 1-3 business days. Followed by an email to activate account. It is Monday March 30. Email not received. Attempt to access portal has failed. Phone contact says this is not a problem normally encountered. Flagging IT engineering dept. Awaiting response. Very problematic. Not acceptable.

Determined finally after a week that IT platform not compatible with customer's Apple iOS out-of-date. Told it would not be a problem prior to application. Contract finally reviewed this day April 6 using MsDOS PC computer at the library. Support is sending 36-page contract not accessible via portal using my iPhone and not printable at the library by an overnight courier for my records. Support subsequently contacted for instructions to cancel contract within 30-days of acceptance. Very helpful. Seamless. Procesing request to transfer back to my checking account may take up to seven more business days. Added to the first four to process payment after being rec'd March 20. A considerable amount of interest accrued daily not being credited to initial $50K balance of the customer. Very disappointing.

I lost 3 weeks of interest

Gainbridge held my money ( and collected interest on it) for 2 weeks due to NO FAULT of my own. They said they received a notice from the social security office that I was deceased. That is a LIE! I contacted the social security office and they said they do not send letters like that! It took me 3 weeks total to get my money back! They should have paid me my interest!

Would suggest a better one on one experience

I could not understand why it seemed to take so long for everything to be finalized. I would have appreciated a more one on one working relationship so I could have ongoing information. It made me feel as if they did not think my money was good enough. At one point, I began to wonder if I had made a mistake by investing my money with them. I believe being assigned to a specific agent with whom I could communicate would have helped throughout the process.
