Generally speaking, we had a positive experience with Galapagos Travel Center and our agent Sebastian. The cruise operator, Galagents, their staff and vessel, Galaxy Sirius, were excellent. My slight disappointment was when we tried to upgrade our flights, communication seemed to break down with Galapagos Travel Center, and we were unable to get the flight upgrades we had hoped for. The cruise operator successfully managed to upgrade our return flights and sadly I heard nothing via Galapagos Travel Center regarding the upgrades.

Our itinerary of 6 nights and 7 days in the Galápagos Islands worked like clockwork. The hotels were excellent, the drivers and guides showed up when the schedule said they would. The excursions were interesting, educational, and did an excellent job of giving us an extensive view of the Galápagos Islands. We could not have been any happier with the trip and the service of Galapagos Travel.

We traveled on Nemo III on an 8 day cruise in the Galapagos and had an unbelievable experience. Our guide, Jairo, was so knowledgeable, engaging and fun! The accommodations, food, and the boat in general were all 5 stars. Highly recommend!

Excellent guides and well coordinated transfers.

The catamaran tour on Cormorant II was the highlight, of course. A fantastic boat with superb lodging, food, and amenities through spectacular attractions. Nature guide Malena was a walking encyclopedia; and chef Javier was a human cookbook. Bravo to all of the 14 crew members. Before that, however, GTC provided everything it promised, with smooth airport pickups, excellent guided tours (kudos to Franklin!) in the Quito area, and seamless airline connections within Ecuador. Pricey, but worth every penny. Thanks Lorena and GTC.

Reasonable price, excellent communication. attention to all the details

Most of the travel arrangements worked out well with one exception. On the way back Quito after visiting the Galapagos, there was no one to pick us up at the airport in Quito. We made a number of calls and finally got through to someone who sent someone to get us and bring us to the hotel.

I was very pleased with the whole experience. We needed a lot of help. From additional hotel reservations (at the last minute), to specific dietary needs during our tour. It was all handled.
We were met at the airport by a driver. We were practically hand held going through customs. Our tour guide met us as soon as we arrived.

The whole trip from Quito in Ecuador to the Amazon rainforest cruise and the Galapagos cruise was arranged like clockwork by the Galapagos Travel Centre including private transfers and internal flights.

Our family's Galapagos cruise was a magical, unforgettable experience, exceeding all expectations. The snorkeling was phenomenal, revealing a vibrant underwater world teeming with sea turtles, sea lions, and colorful fish, while the islands themselves showcased an astonishing variety of wildlife, from blue-footed boobies to giant tortoises. What truly made the trip exceptional was the incredible staff. Their knowledge, attentiveness, and genuine passion for the islands created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel like family.

Once in a lifetime trip made perfect by GTC. Good organisation throughout. Great ship. Brilliant crew. Incredible nature. Lovely fellow guests.

Perfect trip for our active/nature/science loving family. We selected Galapagos Travel Center's Multisport - Island Hopping Tour - 7d/6n (First Class Accommodation option). This option was land-based meaning our accommodations were always on land vs. a cruise where accommodations are on a yacht.

I typically plan all our family vacations, but wanted to engage specialists for this unique visit. It paid off. Andres, at the Galapagos Travel Center, was organized and responsive. He listened carefully to our preferences and priorities to ensure we selected the best package for our trip. Our experience was fantastic and included top notch service from beginning to end. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

A few highlights:

-Our tour package was well curated and action packed with hiking, biking, snorkeling, boating, and many wildlife sightings. Although downtime for resting and venturing out was figured in daily, our teenager opted to skip out on an activity to gain a bit more downtime.

-Our Santa Cruz guide, Maritza, heard that our teenager spoke a little Spanish and worked in a few opportunities for him to practice.

-All our Galapagos Travel Center curated guides, accommodations, and activities included both Spanish and English speakers.

I highly recommend using Galapagos Travel Center for your Galapagos island adventure.

Our consultant (Diana) was excellent, right from our initial enquiry. Diana's communication, recommendations and assistance in securing our preferred Galapagos itinerary and arranging Quito private tours was first class. Our overall experience was much better than we hoped for.

The team provided everything they promised and did it very well. Every question was answered, as well as, plenty I didn't were also answered, along with providing a helpful info packet with lots of details covering immigration and customs tasks that had to be completed prior to entry into the Galapagos.

Not only are the destinations superb, but the fine detail of the service is outstanding too.It has never been so easy getting through an airport, in fact several airports !
Napo Wildlife Centre and Galapagos Angel are really up to top hotel standards for accomadation, food and service. Highly recommended from start to finish.

The professional approach in every aspect of our trip made Galapagos Travel Center the best tour operator I have experienced in my many travels. The logistics were comprehensive and no detail was ignored. The hotels and accommodations were first class. The personnel were all patient, helpful and respectful to this older lady. The planning with the trip advisor, Andres E. was done by email and he was most helpful and accurate in his information.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending Galapagos Travel Center for any travel in Sth America or Ecuador in particular- just brilliant!
