Galaxy recently sold our flat for us, they have a good range of connections and clients which is why they are a good choice in the Southall area. I can’t fault them on their sales techniques, however our experience with them wasn’t faultless.
We had a very frustrating experience with communication with them. They often didn’t respond to us and also carried out a viewing without our knowledge. We often never knew where we stood and they were also always late.
Additionally to this once the sale was going through they used quite aggressive techniques towards us to push the sale, we had a lot of frustrating and stressful delays on our side, this was upsetting as we were as keen for the sale to happen quickly as the buyers.
I found that I personally was receiving calls from Galaxy, threatening that the sale would collapse instead of going straight to our solicitor. I also found these forceful phone calls were only made to me and not my husband, which I believe to be intentional as they had his number also.
I found this very distressing and upsetting and the whole process I am just relieved is now over.
To to be just and fair, I’m glad we used them as they ultimately got the job done, but I would highly recommend they review their communication with clients and the systems they have in place to do viewings as I certainly felt unsupported by them throughout the whole process, and didn’t feel like they were on our side.
