Game doesn’t even deserve one star honestly,please do not use their online service it’s horrible so is their customer services They lie to customer just to get them off their backs and even have nerve to ask them to rate their horrific service.I ordered online on the 3rd after successfully paying got a massage saying order failed mind you they took my money😩 more than 20 days later after I have been lie to the Money is still not paid in my bank despite their 14 days refund time scale, I reached out more than 6 times all I get now finance department is handling the damn case😡😡😡😡😡

Terrible service

Everytime game runs promotions most of the items are out of stock, supplier did not supply on time. One ask when will thet get stock. They dont know,
I went today to two game stores for a folding chair their system staes no stock throughout the country.
Go online No stock.

i bought a washing machine a Defy…

i bought a washing machine a Defy DAW389 front loader for R6999.00 on the 4th of April online. They promised to deliver by the 7th April and up to now they still have not delivered.
I made contact with them on the 10th and they are not providing any answers. They keep asking me stupid questions and they are saying they cant track the order. What kind of nonsense is that.

Worst customer service

I bought a Trojan Squat Rack Online at Game for R1299 and then saw it costs R999 at Makro. I phoned their call centre to cancel my order and the representative said no email Game and they will do price match. So I emailed and they refused because Makro gives a 3 year warranty and Game only a 2 year warranty. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I bought a defy digital microwave within 7 months ,buttons failed than I sent it back for repairs a feed black was it's damaged by crocoches which is not covered on warranty and it's a common problem to this appliances.that nonsense why are selling us appliances that are not durable

They always have nice prices

They always have nice prices, and I love that they run frequent sales, making it easy to snag a great deal. The selection is impressive, too. I found everything I needed, and the staff was helpful.

Unacceptable customer service

We purchased a speed queen washing machine from Game online on 25 March 2024. The machine developed a fault on 5 February 2025 and I reported it the following day. I supplied the required information via e=mail on the 7th. It's now the 12th and I'm still waiting for some action to be taken. I've received absolutely no communication from Game. My daily e-mails requesting an update haven't even been acknowledged let alone responded to. My daily phone calls have been met with a vague standard response that the issue is being attended to. Customer service is clearly not a priority for Game and communication from them is abysmal

I ordered online and accidentally used…

I ordered online and accidentally used the wrong delivery address, I spoke to a consultant and they informed me that they will cancel the order.
The order has been cancelled, but no response regarding the refund. I have contacted them regarding the issue, only to restart the same process 3 times.

I am absolutely sick and tired of waiting for them to wake up. they owe me R2000 for the item that has been cancelled. I would never in my dear life use game stores or recommend them to anyone, EVER!!!!!

They did not have a replacement refused a refund
Regional manager for Polokwane Lady by the name Elan refused to talk to me.

I recently ordered Hot Shapers Power…

I recently ordered Hot Shapers Power Belt from the game online, but unfortunately, the size was too small. I visited the Centurion Mall Game store to exchange it, but I was informed that I couldn't exchange the product because the box had been opened. I'm puzzled by this policy, as I couldn't have determined the size issue without opening the box.

Furthermore, the product description online stated that it was 'returnable and exchangeable,' with no mention of a 'no returns if opened' policy. Their returns and cancellations state that socks and underwear cannot be returned or exchanged due to health risks, not Belts. I feel that this lack of clarity is misleading and inconvenient for customers.

I hope the store will reconsider its return policy or provide clearer guidelines for customers in the future.

I bought a phone online and there was…

I bought a phone online and there was lack of communication and I ended up cancelling that order. I bought grocery on the 29th Nov 2024 and received communication that I will receive my order Friday, but nothing happened, I got another communication saying I will get it on Saturday but nothing happened. Game is really failing to service online orders. These two incidents explained above happened in a space of one month.

Kenilworth centre Game store has the worst customer service

Kenilworth centre Game store has absolutely no knowledge or training of customer services. Putrid customer services when handling repairs. Jayce Pillay(sales manager) and Danie Swanepoel (branch manager) needs to learn how to provide excellent customer services, they need to learn how to do their job by doing due diligence before making decisions that impacts the customer,and they need to learn how to show empathy while providing the customer with next steps even if the outcome is not in the customer's favor.

I will be escalating my case to the CGSO and complaining about all the individuals that poorly handled my case to Massmart directly.

Danie Swanepoel promised that he is personally taking care of my credit form and that I can expect to receive my refund within 1 business day. It has been 2 business days and when I phoned earlier today to follow up, Jayce Pillay shouted at me said I must wait until Monday and hung up the phone. When I tried calling back several times there was no answer.

Pathetic aftersales!!

If i could give them a negative review I would.

Extremely pathetic service and I am pass being frustrated already.
I purchased a stove in November 2023.
In January 2024 the oven wouldn’t work, I logged a ticket with them on 31st January and provided them with the necessary information.
A week later there was no response I followed up with an email and no response so I called them.
And according to them the 3rd party supplier was trying to contact me which was a lie, they eventually contacted me and the technician came out the following Wednesday and advised that the switch was faulty.
I waited the rest of the week and again no response.
I followed up again via email and no response once again I called them and they couldn’t provide me with feedback.
I called multiple times and started getting very frustrated and told them I no longer wanted the unit because it’s 3 weeks later. I also expressed that it’s Ramadan and we need the oven, but there was no sense of urgency at ALL.
A consultant by the name of Zintle called me and said that because the issue wasn’t resolved within 21days they needed to refund me.
I then email asking what the process would be with collection of the unit and the money that was paid.
Again there was no response and I kept calling asking to speak to a manager which to my surprise was never available 🙄.
They called me on 10th March a Sunday whilst I was in class and I waited to see whether they would contact me again, and it was no surprise that they didn’t.
I called the Tuesday to be told a collection has been booked for the stove, when I asked when they collection was booked for they couldn’t tell.
I left it and called the Thursday and Friday, I then asked when I would be receiving the replacement unit and the consultant said there were no notes regarding a replacement🤯. I was then told that the collection was booked for Saturday 16th March. I also received the collection information via email. I mailed them again the evening of the 15th wanting to know how it’s possible that there has been no reference to a replacement unit even though it was discussed with multiple consultants.
When the courier arrived at my house none of my details or cell phone number was on the collection what a surprise 😮.
I followed up after the collection to fund out what’s happening with the replacement unit and was told that the 3rd party first needs to pass a credit note and it can take up 7-14 days for them to receive it.
I response again and said that this is pathetic and wanted a manager to contact me immediately and that I would take legal action and I haven’t heard anything!

I no longer want a replacement, I want all money credited back to my card! Including the payments that have been deducted. I would also like to be compensated for my personal time and airtime wasted on this issue.
