DO NOT OPT THEIR SERVICE

Never ever fall in to the trap of opting this shipping company. They are very unprofessional, not trustworthy and on top of that they are never committed to their promise towards the customer. They don't have any time sense and professionalism with their job. They don't have any accountability for their job and customer has to put up a sorry face. It is huge waste of money, effort and time if you opt for their service on top of that there are high chances of getting the feel of losing the shipment all together as they won't honor delivering the shipment as they promise during the time of service opting. I had shipped my good from US to India on Sep 2022 and it is not yet delivered. Such a crap shipping service. DO NOT OPT THEIR SERVICE.

Inaccurate quotes to lure customers

Gave me inaccurate quote. I have shipped a TV to Hyderabad, India from NC, USA.
The sales team initially told me that customs would be 40% of the TV's price, and now when the TV reached India, they have quoted me customs charges more than 100% of the TV's price. Besides that, they are also saying that I have to make the payment ASAP, or else there will be additional charges for the delay.

And now nobody is responding to my calls/emails.

The worst shipping company. If you care for your cargo, don't give your business to them. Everything they do seems fishy and illegal.

I would like to give 0, but there is no option, fraud, cheater, they don't have even customer care number, in India only we can talk Sumit, but Sumit also doesn't rcv the call, so worried about our things, trust me fraud poor bad. Go with United relocation, we choose gandhi shipping and and we are suffering from October

Yes any other company....
They let my shipment sit in the port at $300 per day while they attempted to extort a larger payment from the overseas shipping company.... only after paying the penalties to the port myself did I get the shipment moved to the truckers yard.... then the extorted an additional $500 plus feed for disposed paperwork.... with payment only possible with a bank transfer.... and a 5% extra charge if not paid that day.... knowing full well that there was no possibility of this because they sent the request for payment after 13:30 hours.... bank transfers after 13:00 always occur next day.
Total scammers.

Poor service I have ever seen. Please stay away this company

I am giving this one rating only for fooling the customers so cleverly by speaking nicely in the beginning. We shipped 5 boxes only used HOUSEHOLD items (all kids stuffs and our memories). From the day they agree to pick boxes from home they were giving only false PROMISES. They did not pick the boxes through FEDEX which they agree to do initially, later after making so many calls they arranged to pick through some other truck. While making payment they told us there is no hidden charges but after reaching Mumbai port they are charging us again for custom clearance which is highly ridiculous. We are writing so many emails and phone calls to Mr. Mushir Rangoonwala and Mr. Vineet ranjan, but they blocked our number . We are really scared how to get our stuffs from these heartless cruel service people. Highly unprofessional behavior is seen from each employee in this organization. If I do not receive my boxes, I wont leave them simply, I will lodge a consumer complaint against the company.

Fruad, Cheaters, Liars !!!

Recently their BBB ratings has been suspended on 19th Jan 2021.
I moved from US to India in Feb 2020. Before travelling, I hired services of Gandhi Shipping to ship 8 boxes of my household stuffs to India. Paid them shipping charges, and also bought "Total Loss" insurance from them which suggest that in case of any of the box is lost, they will pay me the amount equals to the evaluation of that box.(I can provide Invoice, Emails, Fedex Shipping Labels, Evaluation and packing sheet). They picked up all the 8 boxes from my US apt (in Edison, NJ 08817) on 25th Feb 2020 through Fedex. But when they delivered my stuff in India on 2nd July 2020, I received only 7 boxes. I contacted their India and US office and informed them about the lost box. They finally responded on 7th July that they have filed a claim with Fedex for my lost box and provided me the Fedex case number 0707402345. They also asked me for the value of the lost box and receipts, so that they can claim it from Fedex. I provided all the information to them. After following up for several days, they responded on 31st July that a claim of $300 is approved from Fedex and they will arrange the payment to me once they receive the check from Fedex. I asked why only $300 is approved whereas value of my lost box is more than that and also I paid the insurance premium based on that value. I tried to contact them on emails and phone, they ignored my calls/emails. Finally had a call with them on 7th Aug 2020, where they promised that based on evaluation, they will add some amount to $300 received from Fedex, and soon I will receive my claim amount. Again there were no updates from them till 15th Sep 2020, when they asked for my address for $300 check to be sent which I provided on email. Since then, they suddenly stopped responding to my emails and stopped picking up my phone calls (one of my US friend calls and texts them almost daily but they do not respond). Forget about my actual evaluation, they are not even sending me $300 check which they have got from Fedex. Its almost a year now, I have stopped doing follow-ups after 6 months and registered a complaint against them on BBB. They did not even respond to BBB. Just got to see that their BBB accreditation is now suspended effective 19th Jan 2021.

I don't even want to give them this one…

I don't even want to give them this one star ,Gandhi shipping is such a hopeless service.
They do not have the courtesy to pick the phone an deal with the questions. They don't reply to email.
They charge you a fixed amount when you are sending your shipment from USA when it comes to India they again charge you for it . They are trying to extort more money . This is a worst service agency I heard about. Biggest mistake to have selected them for our boxes.

Very rude to talk no cooperation what so ever.

You guys are the best in not sending an email about tracking the shipment and when I called you and one of you said it might went to my junk email, still I checked my Junk no luck, then I called you again you said I will receive an email immediately from Shradha .
Still waiting almost three weeks.
Some fool referred you to me,,
What a shame . Plz shut your business.
You are not capable of running this business
Do what you are good at ,,,
From my experience plz stay away from this shipping company.

Worst Shipping experience - Don't know if I ever get my luggage

When you interact with Gandhi shipping US you will feel you are in safe hands. Wrong...don't believe that. We shipped our luggage Aug 4th 2020, till date no clue when we get our shipments. Every time you call them they will tell next 30 mins your will get your final delivery tracking. 30 mins you will have write on a wall only. None of their commitments are accurate.

Today they told me that my shipments were sent to wrong person for final delivery and they are coming back to their warehouse. Promised to give me a revised tracking by 3.30 PM, no clue. They even told me they can share he pics, none till date.

You will end up sending tones of emails, calling them all the times.

We shipped our memories, kids memories, books, TV...not sure if Gandhi shipping understand customer emotions to their memories.

Gandhi shipping - Please tell me when we will get our shipments.

WORST Service... False promises Products are stolen And damaged

Worst shipping service .

I have sent 2 box worth of 3000$ from USA to India . They will promise it will get delivered in 4 to 6 weeks but it will not. False promises don’t ever trust Gandhi shipping Worst service .everyday you need to call them and send an email there will not be genuine reply .My package got delivered after 7 months .the products in box 1 are completely got damaged (bitten by rats),broken, stolen etc and branded products are missing worth of 1500$.

If you call them they will place you on hold for more than an hour and call will get disconnected. They are not worth of running a business .

My kind advice please ever don’t send any parcel with GANDHI shipping.

Never got my luggage- worst shipping experience- don’t book their services

My worst experience with a shipping company till date.

I was shipping a few boxes from Berkeley to New Delhi and they misplaced one of my boxes which ended up with another one of their customers in Germany.

Gandhi shipping representatives never helped me retrieve this box even though it was misplaced due to negligence at their end. They became completely unresponsive to my enquires and I never got my box back.

In short they are highly unreliable and unprofessional. Ideally they shouldn't be running a business.

My recommendation is NEVER book their services.

really in the beginning when I brought…

really in the beginning when I brought my car to this office I was worried cz I saw the reviews here and some people they didn't recommend them but when I shipped my car from Gandhi international shipping from Chicago to Saudi Arabia they were so nice to me and explain everything to me too . they told me its ganna be delivered in tow months and really it happened and I found everything in my car . thanks Mushir and Azeam for great service and really recommend friends and people to do deal with you

Beware ... You might never get your luggage

My friend sent parcels from US to India on 01/21/2020 yes you read it correctly i.e. he sent parcels 8 months back but haven't received his parcels. Tried to contact them multiple times but everytime call goes to voice mailbox and despite dropping message to contact back no call till date, not sure whether he will ever get his parcels or not. Apart from parcels I think he paid $500 for service and even after 8 months no clue where the parcels are. They are not replying calls or no proper response via email. Totally unprofessional. Beware. Use their service only if you want to loose your money and time.

Also, I just checked their reviews and I was surprised to see that all 5 star reviews are posted in bulk on same day and with regular intervals, how is that possible like you have 8-10 5* reviews today then after few days again on same day another 8-10 5* reviews, there are no reviews in between so looks like all 5 star reviews are fake and posted by themselves.

Update 1: after so many calls and voice mails no update from them, sometime they pickup and put on hold which never ends. Asked detail and provided detail let's see if they are calling back or not

Update 2: After so many follow-ups and calls, no reply from them.

Poor Freight Forwarder. Be careful!

The entire team of Gandhi International including their CEO are very unprofessional. We had shipped 2 TV's with them to India and they charged us for the special crate while they only shipped one TV in the crate while the second one was shipped with the box we packed in

Our 60" LED TV completely got destroyed during the shipment process and we had bought insurance and when the time came to process it, the insurance company stated that Gandhi team bought "theft or vessel fire" insurance and not handling insurance and they usually buy similar insurance for everyone. The most unprofessional part of it is when they quoted, it said "insurance" without any details and when asked, they would not reply to emails or phone call. Basically, we paid $75 in insurance for nothing and took a loss of $2K. We also had to pay duty on the TV in India and they would not reimburse for any of this even though they accepted it was their error

I tried calling them multiple times and they would avoid my calls and if emailed, they would hardly respond or direct me to someone else to discuss further but no outcome. In the end, their CEO sent a one-line email, we are sorry for the inconvenience and when I asked why haven't you picked up my phone, he ignored me again

My suggestion is to stay far away from them. Their pricing is not very competitive compared to others but I came in here because they had decent reviews but in the end, they turned out to be a horrible freight forwarder.

False promise and no update once you pay!!

The initial phase was impressive when I contacted them. They immediately provided quotation and followed up for payment and shipment. The real problem started when I contacted them after 2 months for the status of the shipment. I called them when they didn't responded to my emails. I have been told that the shipment reached destination and will be out for next week. When the consignment didn't reached after 3 week, I contacted them and they again made the same statement that it will be out by next week. Two weeks later I contacted with Owner of company hearing false promises from customer agents and that didn't helped too. I've been directed to Agent who deliver the consignment at destination. It was not my job to follow up with them, however I did follow up and didn't get any positive response. Finally, It took around 6 months to reach the consignment at destination after continuous followup with Gandhi Shipping and their vendor at destination location. I used other company for my other shipment and it was very smooth. They provide regular update and keep there promise.
I will not recommend Gandhi Shipping. Try other companies and they are really good!!
