I had a poor experience with Tash. Firstly, with each call or email she did not answer, I had to call a general number and speak to someone else (who were always very kind and professional) or email the general email address as with weeks passing, I never received a response from Tash, although was told to contact her directly.

Tash was quick to book me an interview but never responded with my questions afterward. After over a week passing and no response, I emailed the general email address again and received a response within 5 minutes telling me I didn't get the job and with feedback that was very much not meant for me. The feedback detailed that the employer wanted someone with Head Office and operations experience to which I didn't have however I had worked in the Head Office I applied for.. in an operations role, for 5 years. As well as my most recent job, aswell as my degree, being in operations. When I asked Tash to clarify the feedback, again, even after a week passing, no response. I spoke to the company I interviewed with and they confirmed that Tash had given me the wrong feedback.

A really poor experience and as a business quite disappointing as not only have I gone to a different recruitment agency, but as my peers have been made redundant, I did not direct them here as there is no communication and not worth me doing the job of chasing for answers, when my recruiter should be working with me.

Also to note, I asked Tash to remove my details from their system, and to ensure I received a timely reply, I emailed their general email address. Tash did reply, and advised she will remove my details, however also stated she will continue to contact me with updates.. which I am unsure how she would do this if she is removing my details.

Really good experience with this agency. Aran sorted me out straight away, got me an interview the same day I applied and I had a job offer the next day which I wasn’t expecting at all.

He kept in touch the whole time and made everything really easy. Felt like he actually wanted to help rather than just going through the motions. Would definitely recommend.

I was working in Gousto warrington. Night shift. Work not satisfied .may be one shift. Mostly no shift at all. The agency name will go .if they keep supervisors like this.irrittating the workers when they come to work.Gap peronal Agency.

First time using the services of an employment agency, but put of forever. They were specifically asked by me if the contract was zero hours and they replied that it was 37 hours per week. I went along to the company that GAP in Flint, Deeside was recruiting for, to be told it was a zero hour contract. This wasted both mine and the hiring companies time.

Good Morning

I need to know if this is a set amount of hours per week and permanent. With the holidays being accrued I'm a bit worried that it might be a zero hour contract, which if that is the case, it wouldn't be suitable.

I am still planning on attending this morning, but I wouldn't be able to agree to anything without the above information. I need stability with pay, hours and holiday.

You would be working about 37 hrs per week. the way the holidays work is that you would gain about 2.2 days of holiday amount providing you work all your shifts.

Nothing here states or indicates a zero hour contract. This is false advertising and misleading. Please don’t suggest that I misunderstood the advert.

This company is absolutely rubbish half of the induction was left to the future employees while the instructors were on there coffee break. Then there was the site induction which lasted a whole 10 minutes. They showed you where you can smoke but that was about it that’s d4 dusk warehouse waterhole way so if your thinking of going there think again

I had a good time with gap personnel and staff is very helpful and professional in the future if I need to work again with gap personnel i will love to join again i will recommend gap personnel to my family and friends thank you so much

Claire at Blackpool office was really helpful and friendly and found a suitable role very quickly.

I was told to report to a processing factory at 07h30 to be told that as Gap personnel had sent 28 personnel when the company required 20 I was not needed and sent away. This happened twice and I was not the only person to receive this treatment. Due to the start time I took a taxi both times. I questioned the ethics of Gap personnel and asked for a refund of my expenses to be told that I, a 71 year old male, should have walked a distance of approximately 5 miles. They refused to refund me £20. The manager couldn't give a damn. Why was I working at my age? That does not need to be explained. I will never recommend or work for this unethical agency again

I recently interviewed with several agencies, including Gap Personnel. During the process, I spoke with Jenny Rice, who offered me a role as an Account Manager. At the interview stage, I was very open and transparent, explaining that I had other interviews and a job offer from a different company. When I disclosed the company’s name, she mentioned that she personally knew the person who had extended me that offer.

In the end, I chose to accept the role from the other company instead of Gap Personnel. However, shortly after, I learned that Jenny had contacted the other company, shared misleading information, and as a result, my job offer was withdrawn.

This was an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. Based on this, I would not consider applying for roles through Gap Personnel again.

Best agency I have dealt with and made possible by Claire and Olivia. within an hour of them approaching me, Claire had secured an interview for the next day. communication between me and claire was relaxed and simple but remained professional, while all forms etc to be filled in where sent over and she was very quick to reply and help when required. It was like talking to a friend while dealing with the necessary, and also offered me support with recent personal events. highly recommend

Very good communication with Claire, 3rd week she set me up with a company for a Warehouse Operative. After just 3 days was asked if i wanted to try out being a Tablet Machine Operative. Stating yes, iv`e been doing that job ever since, for 3 weeks now. Really enjoying. Hope they keep me on. Again good communication with Claire, paid on time every week. Pleasant conversation when reporting back to her at end of every week. Good job, well done. Highly recommend this Agency to anybody out there who`s willing to put the hours in. Since recovering from the flu, the agent has not assigned me any shifts at Gousto Warrington night shift. I have sent multiple WhatsApp messages informing them that I have fully recovered and am available to work, but my messages were merely read without any response. When I asked for a P45 form in case there were no more shift opportunities, my messages were still ignored. This kind of attitude is far from professional and very disappointing. As an employee, I expect basic respect and communication, but even that was lacking. Such service is truly unacceptable.

This is the second time that Gap Personnel have used a part of my wages at the bank as a deposit for a week. It is unbelievable what is happening in the UK with the low-class workers and nobody gives a dam.
This behaviour is beyond any soft words, keeping in mind that this agency gets their salaries from our work. The United Kingdom is dead!
It is sad and disgusting.
