Be VERY careful if you use this company!!!!!!!
Saw this product advertised on the Daily Mail site and signed up for a free trial of 2 products, Garcinia Slim 500 and Nature's Answer Cleanse and Detox. I was led to believe I would only pay £4.95 p&p for each item. Received my credit card statement today and they have charged me £85 and £80 for these "free trials" on top of the 2 lots of £4.95 for p&p. Rang the company and the guy I spoke to just hung up on me. Rang again and a very unpleasant woman just kept saying I had failed to cancel my subscription and that is why I was charged. I pointed out that I was not aware that I had subscribed for products I had simply signed up for a free trial and therefore I was not aware of any need to cancel. The email received confirming the free trial makes no mention whatsoever of the need to cancel but the woman I spoke to said that you need to click into the link for terms and conditions to see that the "free trial" is classed as an ongoing subscription and that you need to cancel to avoid any further charges. When you sign up for the free trial there is no mention at all that you are actually subscribing to this product. So far they are not prepared to refund the money which I believe they have fraudulently taken from me but I will not give up!!! I have contacted BBC Watchdog and asked them to look at the hundreds of other scathing reviews shown on the website:
yourweightlossaid.com/garcinia-slim-500 and also on Trust Pilot
and to feature this company on their television programme to warn everyone to be VERY careful and to make sure to read the VERY small print.
I will also make sure my bank stop any more payments being made to these people from my account. Please join me and send your comments to BBC Watchdog, post comments on Twitter and Facebook to warn others and let's stop anyone else being caught out!!!!! I will also contact the consumer champion at the Daily Mail as that is where I saw the original advert.
Also please let your local Training Standards Office have all of the details and the Office for Fair Trading.
As an aside I can confirm that the product is simply has not worked at all......I may have lost £165 in money but I have not lost a single pound in weight. In my opinion this product is not worth the p&p charge of £4,95 let alone the ridiculous price of £85 per bottle!
