Reviewing the various options on the web, and having spoken to the company we decided to purchase 2 flat Armed Benches. I prefer to speak to people as an elderly OAP as opposed to ordering on line. Placed order with Dan, most helpful, date booked. Items arrived via Freightliner, driver was most help in unloading and taking away pallet and outer wrapping. Putting together was simple, just needed a soft headed mallet to tap dowels in, and screwdriver for 4 screws. Many thanks team.

The vendor was friendly and helpful with some complicated liaison arrangements between me the Reverend at the church and the lady based overseas who was ordering the bench. All very professional and a great product. We couldn't be happier.

Excellent service from start to finish, and a lovely teak bench. The customer service was friendly and efficient. When I emailed a question after their published hours, an immediate reply came back from Ed, their MD, which was impressive in itself!
I had chosen my delivery date, DHL tracking was very easy, and delivery on time.
The wood and bench are lovely, surpassing my expectations, and easy to assemble. The Turnberry is sold as ergonomic and comfortable, and it certainly is. I would recommend the product, the company, and I would buy again. Even the price was good, buying in the sale!

I had a really good experience with Sloane and Sons. The bench was on back order, I was slightly concerned I had not seen an email with a delivery date when they came back in stock. An email to them requesting a delivery date resulted in a quick reply with a date.
The bench arrived bang on time, well wrapped and easy to assemble.

I highly recommend Sloane & Sons. The team were easy to chat to, fast at responding and did everything they could to get our engraved bench delivered on time. The bench itself is beautiful and was the perfect gift - we couldn't be more pleased. 10/10.

Not only superb quality benches but it is the outstanding personal service that I received from the team. They were most helpful in reassuring me in regard to the quality, advising where I could view local installations-Elvaston Castle. They went the extra mile in helping me with assembly and advising when to expect my delivery. The accessories are great-the cover and bench cushion. I am thrilled with my solid Lutyens bench, encompassing style and quality.

I ordered a 180cm Henley bench on the 15/7 with extras. The bench arrived on the 17/7 complete with a beautifully engraved plaque. Delivery was to a Bowls Club in a public park which is never an easy task but all worked brilliantly (kudos to pallet force for that one) Everyone very impressed with the style and quality of the bench and cushion. So much so that the following week I ordered a total of 6 cushions for the benches we already have. These arrived just 4 days later as another one had to be made.

Fantastic service and quality

This is my 2nd bench from this company this year, to replace my ‘cheap bargains’ which I had bought from Amazon ! Not only are the benches excellent quality they look fabulous. Customer service was fantastic…great company, well done.

I wanted to leave a top review of both the furniture and customer service at Sloane & Sons! We have the Burford sofa, and the quality is amazing - beautifully made, really comfortable, and we have had lots of compliments on it already. It was exactly what we were looking for (after lots of research!). The team were also super helpful and patient in arranging a new delivery and refund when we accidentally ordered the wrong set of furniture the first time round! Very grateful and would highly recommend.

Only two things to add, the principal item that we ordered was a four seater bench ( with flat arms for coffee cups ! ) and that a replacement brass plaque was supplied by Sloane's at no cost as one word had been missed from the plaque initially supplied. The bench graces a garden open to the public close to our home and is already in daily use.

Flawless in every respect. Furniture is beautiful, well made and competitively priced. Communication from order to delivery was excellent. Self assembly, not a bother, and is expected for deliveries of this size/nature. Plenty of places will recycle the pallets so this absolutely not a challenge. Thank you Team Sloane & Sons. Wishing all companies would provide such great customer service.

Right from the beginning the communication was excellent. Callan was very responsive. The product arrived on time and looks stunning. Highly recommended.

The quality of the furniture was as expected. The poor quality of the delivery service and the effort needed to dispose of packaging is the reason for the 2 stars. The delivery company ‘Palletforce’ failed to show on the date arranged. When I called the company it said it will be delivered next day, that was an entire day wasted! Sloane and sons appear to fail to take responsibility of the fact that it was their choice of company when I complained. When the item was delivered, a 3 seater garden bench, it was wrapped in cardboard and plastic and mounted on a wooden pallet, upright. This may be viewed as a positive as it ensured the item was not damaged in transit. However, it was left to me to unwrap and dispose the packaging! I was advised by the delivery driver to find someone with a wood burner for the pallet!

Great quality Teak table set. Very nicely finished. Clearly good quality control. Super responsive when the cover needed to be changed for a larger size. Highly recommended company to get your garden furniture from. Stefan (Suffolk)
