Excellent until they weren't, however they've now updated return policy as per UK trading standards!

Addendum: 07.05.26, since my initial review (15.03.26) I see they've now changed their return policy wording, which is much better, more friendly and now accurate because under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the seller is responsible for goods until they are delivered to you, even if damaged by a courier!!

Update in addition to addendum above 07.05.26 and added another star: I appreciate your reply 'Garden Bird'. Thank you for confirming my reviews are now live as well. The fact remains that your representative ignored the issue that I wanted a refund due to the faulty unit, she only offered replacement parts! Yes we no longer needed the parts because my husband found the missing ones and repaired it, but that's beside the point, it was still a faulty unit and protected under the 30 day UK trading standard ruling, which was not addressed by your staff member! Yes it's a little thing and I guess may seem petty to you, but that's called customer service in that you always give your customer the choice regarding refund UK trading standards rulings! Maybe you need to train your staff further in this. It is however great to see that you've now changed the wording on your return policy too, which is much more amenable and friendly!

Original Review 15th March 26: I did a previous 5 star review for a different order. Now I'm only giving 1 star because they were excellent until I wanted to return an item then it's not a good company! They didn't offer me a refund on a faulty feeder within the 30 days of getting it, which is my consumer rights!

Instead I was just offered replacement parts! Thankfully my husband found the faulty part and mended it himself!

Also I wanted to review 2 feeders I received that weren't good, but I couldn't submit the reviews because the submit button wasn't working, so I informed the company. I received no thanks for bringing this error to their attention, just a brief email saying IT are dealing with it! I also noticed that the existing reviews weren't verified purchases either!

They've now rectified the submit button so I managed to review the feeders in a professional manner, but they haven't appeared! This company is not transparent with their reviews received!

I'm not sure if I'll buy from them again to be honest? If you buy from them make sure you read their return policy because they say they're not responsible for damages in transit, so you better hope your orders arrives intact and undamaged!

I thought this company was too good to be true, now I've been proven right!

Plus points are: Quick delivery and free delivery over £25. Although the customer service response is fast, their reply is cold and brief and not really helpful, just giving the basics!

Hello Lizzie, thank you for taking the time to review our service, I'm sorry that we fell short on this occasion. We do offer parts where we can as it's the quickest way to resolve issues and most of our feeders do have replacement parts which is great for longevity and the environment. We would never refuse a refund or replacement if parts were not the desired option for our customers, I can see that we did ask if you would happy with parts but they were no longer needed.
We have had some issues with our product review system but this is being looked into, we raised this with our IT department as soon as we were aware. Your reviews are live on the website.

This is such an excellent company

This is such an excellent company. The products are great and at a good price, the website is straightforward and the delivery is always as speedy as it’s possible to be, especially when we’re out in the Scottish sticks.

Great service

I’ve placed multiple orders with Gardenbird, and for good reason. The website is easy to use, with simple reordering and ApplePay. There’s also a good reward program which offers a generous discount. But most importantly, all my orders have been fulfilled very quickly, often arriving the next day at no extra cost. I have no idea how good their customer service is if there’s any issues, simply because I’ve never had any. Overall, Gardenbird is great company to deal with, as a customer I couldn’t be happier.

Trustworthy supplier of bird food

We live in a rural environment and get a large variety and number of wild birds (mostly finch, tit, robins, dunnock).
The peanuts from garden bird are being taken almost as fast as I can fill the feeders so the birds are obviously happy and I find garden bird to be a reliable and trustworthy supplier.

Would recommend this company!

Would recommend this company, they have some amazing bird feeders.
We ordered one and when it arrived it was slightly damaged, i emailed the company and a new part arrived the next day, great customer service
