GAR Property Consultants did a thorough Level-3 Home Survey for us in July 2024. The report was very detailed and comprehensive with a lot of photos and damp test results. We found the report very helpful for both the purchase and plan for future work.

Great level 2 homebuyers survey. Answered all my questions and did a through job. Feeling confident about our house purchase now we have Graeme's expert knowledge.

Graeme responded quickly to our initial enquiry and managed to fit us in at relatively short notice. We were kept up to speed throughout the process and the survey was without a doubt, the most comprehensive survey I've ever received. Previously Id had a basic survey report on a house and I regretted it years later so decided I wanted a level 3
Id read lots of reviews and as this is an older property I wanted to know as much as possible Booking process was easy; date given for survey was within a couple of days Graeme visited the house as the vendors were taking the chimney stack down and wanted to see the work ahead of survey.
Graeme was very friendly and very competent and experienced, giving good advice and made time for us to discuss small areas of work that needs to be carried out . I’ll be honest 250 page report looked scary but actually most of it was photo to support the findings . A drone did a thorough investigation of the work of the large roof which was produce with all photos The written report was promptly produced and easy to read
Graeme isn’t one of the cheaper reports you can get but he defiantly is worth every penny and saved me pennies when negotiating the purchase . I would not hesitate is recommending Graeme .

The survey was extremely thorough, comprising over 200 pages. There were many photographs illustrating what was surveyed, which was very helpful. Even more helpful was that Graeme spent an hour going through the survey afterwards in order to answer further questions. Sometimes it can feel intimidating to ask a surveyor for explanations, but he is very approachable and went beyond the call of duty in giving up his time on New Year's Day for a phone call. I would definitely highly recommend him.

We had a level 3 survey carried out on a Victorian-era property and the report that Graeme produced was highly professional and extremely thorough. Gar property consultants carried out a level 3 Survey on the house I am buying.
Graeme carried out my Survey. He has excellent communication skills so everything was easy to understand and he always responded to my questions promptly.
I was able to share my concerns with him before he carried out the survey and he was more than happy to answer all my questions once I had read it .
He was also happy to share his knowledge and give me advice on future structural projects I am considering doing in a year or 2 .
Using his report I negotiated a lower purchase price so it more than paid for itself.
