I have stopped using GasCare after many…

I have stopped using GasCare after many years.
They serviced my boiler, £90. Immediately after, I went to use it but it didn't start. I called them out. They came, switched it off, switched it on, it worked, charged us £84. Wanted to charge me more. Engineers are fine but company have no sense of care to their loyal customers, just out for profit. They won't make any more from me.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to read that you were not happy with our recent visit to your property.
We welcome all reviews (good and bad) but believe that they should be truthful and not miss out important facts.
Looking at our records we can see that you called us out to carry out a boiler service. We called out on the 17th of September and found upon arrival that the boiler was in fault mode and was flashing F22. We reset the boiler and then carried out a boiler service and left it all working.
You then contacted us on the 11th of October and said you had a problem with the boiler. When we spoke you were advised that if the fault was to do with the service, then the call would be free of charge but that if the fault was not caused by the service, you would be charged. We were very clear with the charges should the fault not be to do with the service. You agreed this and we confirmed an appointment for you.
Upon arrival the engineer found that the boiler was in fault mode F22 again. Rather than just switch it off and back on again he checked with the manufacturers as to what could cause the problem. He also checked the system over to make sure there wasn’t a problem with any of the external components. The manufacturers recommended various parts that it could be but because we left it working again for you neither they nor ourselves could confirm which part it could be. The fault was an existing issue and was not caused by the service. The engineer was on site for 50 minutes checking over your system and resetting the boiler. Rather than charge you for the time over the 1st 30 minutes we reduced the cost for you because you had been a loyal customer in the past.
We hope this clears up any confusion.

Excellent service from start to finish

Excellent service from start to finish. Always arrived at the exact time stated both for the estimate and each day of work. Work completed to a very high standard, communicated with us at every stage of the process and left the area clean and tidy.

We have used GasCare for some 20+ years…

We have used GasCare for some 20+ years to service our LPG boiler on an annual maintenance contract. Whilst it was still working well, after 17 years it was time to replace it with a new, more efficient boiler.
GasCare recently fitted a new Vaillant LPG model, also replacing the hot water tank. Over two days, engineer Andy did a great job, timely, clean and tidy. Happily recommend GasCare.

Annual boiler check

Kevin (Mr Garry) telephoned at 0900hrs. and informed us that he would be here in 15 to 20mins. He arrived on the dot and greeted us in his polite and happy manner, he carried out the check up without fuss or bother (as usual). We are always happy to see Kevin even though it is only once a year. We would recommend your company to anyone. Thank you for your services.

Thank you for fixing more then one…

Thank you for fixing more then one problem we had and my mom was never more happier. She spends a lot of time in the kitchen and it was very annoying and now she will be enjoying even more. Thank you Sean you did a great job!!! 👍

Top Service

The team at Gascare have been servicing and installing new boilers on our estate of 92 properties for over 3 years now and to date we have had very few issues. The engineers are are always curteous, tidy and professional and the management and support team are knowledgeable and efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending Gascare

Boiler installation

I commissioned GasCare ( Southampton) to install a new gas boiler. The work included replacing old iron pipe work. I am extremely pleased with the work done and the professionalism of the fitter , Andy. The weather was particularly hot during the week the work was done , but Andy worked extremely hard every day . There was minimal mess made and he always tidied up afterwards. I have no hesitation in recommending GasCare to anyone . From the survey, quotation to the actual work they were very impressive . A very satisfied customer .

Being a customer for over 30+ years, that says it all.

Being a customer for over 30+ years, that says it all.
I am very happy with the service and the quality and reliability of the products.
Everyone at GasCare is very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.
The engineers are polite, cautious and attentive during the pandemic, which is very reassuring to a 80+ years old like me. They are all geared up for our safety. Good luck to them and a five stars to GasCare.

Gascare of Southampton

Gascare of Southampton - we had our usual Annual Service of our Gas Boiler this year with success but needed a replacement radiator in the lounge. This work was booked and carried out with excellence, courtesy and politeness from Simon in the Office through to Shane who completed the work as the Field Engineer. Shane left our premises after fixing radiator etc in a good and clean condition. His workmanship is to be recommended. It is all too easy to complain at times, but Gascare, Simon and Shane deserve this recommendation, and I recommend this Company to others. Thank you.

Continuing excellent service over 43 years

We have used GasCare for over 40 years and have always received excellent service. GasCare is a family run firm that started local to where we live in Southampton, and has remained as a family run firm. It is also reassuring to see how long the staff stay with the company.

Recently we had to have our boiler replaced, the quote was competitive and the work conducted in a day. The installer worked very unobtrusively and very cleanly. So once again we have been entirely satisfied with GasCare and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

really pleased with the service provided. Our boiler was condemned in November, within 9 days Gascare were able to quote and replace our boiler! They were always on time, very friendly and did an excellent job, price was reasonable too!
