Hugely expensive and not well done

Hugely expensive option but as I had no heating and no cash I signed up. Not convinced the fitter did everything he was supposed to as I regularly have the heating switch itself off due to low pressure and have to re-pressurise the boiler. The whole system also moans and groans in cold weather as if it's going to vibrate off the wall. If you have any other options at all take them and avoid this lot.

Excellent service from the moment i registered my enquiry,the sales man was very polite & didn’t push the sale,he displayed a wealth of knowledge with the product & service on offer. From the first call from Gasfast to…

From the first call from Gasfast to installation of the boiler, the serve was excellent. Salesman explained fully about the boiler and what would happen on the day. Engineer was courteous, took great care of my home during the installation and explained fully how the system and the thermostatic control worked. Staff in the accounts section also very professional. I can’t rate the Comany highly enough.

The most expensive bolier install in…

The most expensive bolier install in the land. The worst customer service. The worst after care and there is no emergency procedure. Paid for the best of the best, within the 9 months of ownership its broken down 3 times and now I sit here with my family; four young children in minus weather being told they dont care

Dont use. If i could give no stars I would.

We would like to address some of your concerns, especially the assertion that we ‘don’t care’ as we definitely do.

Having spoken to the Customer Service manager we understand that the problems with your install have been investigated by us on numerous occasions and our Customer Service team had spent time trouble shooting with you over the phone.

Unfortunately, we could not resolve the problem and we understand how frustrating this can be for any customer, let alone one with children in the house.

You have stated that ‘Gas Fast have confirmed there is literally nothing they can do’ and this is entirely true, there is nothing more we can do.

This is because, after our investigation we have isolated the fault to the new boiler.

While this is unfortunate it is very unusual.

You have drawn attention to the fact you went for a more expensive boiler to ensure you were getting the best you could – and we would agree as Worcester Bosch are one of the most respected companies in the industry.

Unfortunately, your boiler is one of the rare ones that has left the factory with a fault and, while we would love to have fixed the problem for you, if an Gast Fast engineer opened that boiler to fix it, your warranty would be immediately voided.

Worster Bosch state in their warranties that only Worster Bosch engineers are qualified to repair Worster Bosch boilers and anyone else attempting it will void that warranty.

Frustrating, but literally nothing we can do about it – this would be the same no matter which company you had contacted to fit your boiler.

In fact, if a company said they would come out and repair the boiler, they would have been responsible for you warranty being voided and any future problems would require you to pay an engineer to attend your property.

That said, our Operations and Recruitment Executive did work overtime to contact Worster Bosch to try and escalate the complaint and get someone out as soon as possible.

We hope that Worster Bosch can sort the problem with your boiler, and we will always be here to sort any other problems with your system that won’t void your boiler warranty.

If I could leave 0* I would

If I could leave 0* I would. New boiler fitted in January, since it’s been fitted we have no heating and intermittent hot water, I have called and called with the promise of a call back for weeks. When I eventually lost my temper and told them to take it out as the stress it has caused wasn’t worth it, they sent someone out within the next few days. Boiler is still not fixed and now trips the electric every time it kicks in. They have admitted to fitting a faulty boiler and for some reason want to keep “fixing” it rather than replacing. It’s now snowing outside I have two young children and I’m without water and heating for the third month. Horrific customer services. Still not resolved. Avoid at all costs.

*I would like to point out that me being unavailable on the 9th for gasfast to attempt to “fix” the issue again was because i was on holiday not just because i was not in, not that I should have to defend myself when this issue should have been resolved in January when originally installed. The flush was requested by ourselves as when we were originally given the quote, we were told this was going to be done.. it was not hence us requesting it numerous times. The stress and upset this has cause is beyond words. Gasfast take some responsibility.

We are deeply sorry that your new boiler install has not gone as well as expected and that the experience you have had with Gas Fast has not met the very high standard, we set ourselves.

While we understand the frustration you have experienced with the system not performing as well as it should, we do feel we have done all we could to try and sort the issue which, as we now know, was a problem with the Ideal Boiler.

We are also sorry it has taken as long as it has to investigate this problem, fix this issue and we are working on measure to ensure customers are not waiting as long as you have for call-backs.

Looking through the notes we can see have attended your property on 3 separate occasions to try and identify the fault.

We have flushed your system twice and then sent an engineer to complete a Powerflush, a service that would normally cost a customer £500.

We were happy to try this method as we hoped it would fix the issues.

As it obviously did not, we have tried to arrange a visit from an Ideal engineer on 09/03/2023 but it was inconvenient for you – we now have a date of 22/03/2023 booked in to accommodate your availability.

Once again, we can only apologies for the problems that have occurred, and we know we can do better when it comes to timescales, we will be using your feedback to improve our services.

We also hope we can solve this problem and leave you satisfied with your heating system.
