I had a short deadline, but when I called they said they could get the bracelet done on time. They were true to their word and my wife loved it. The quality was great and the price was even better. I would recommend GemsNY to anyone that want quality jewelry and great service.

I do not appreciate the way this establishment does business. I purchased an emerald that was of terrible quality. The person (Ernie) I dealt with mentioned it was great did not advice as to the inclusions. It had air bubbles all over it and looked more like a cheap plastic knock off. I asked for a refund (over $3200) however they disputed and opted for a store credit. Basically, they force me to purchase from them. I do not want to purchase another cheap piece of jewelry. I think I can save a load of money by going on vacation next time to Colombia and purchase emeralds from the source.

With regards to the GemsNY response. First, please do not run to your legal statements on the website (buyer beware). Also in no way does any of the stock images show the significant inclusions on the 'emerald' I purchased. Also, in no circumstances was I mentioned that the ring was non-refundable by Ernie. Your trade up option (purchase an item at least $3500 in value to get a credit) is a Win-Lose proposition. I need to spend another $600 to get a $2900 store credit? Are you for serious? As of now, this merchant has the ring and also a free $3200 in credit. Nice way of doing business. I should have been more cautious of the 'gamed' online reviews before purchasing. Buyer beware!

Thanks to the help of Ernie, I purchased a beautiful heart cut ruby that more than met me expectations. The customer service that I received from Gymsny was professional, patient, and commendable. I can't wait till its time to pick stones for earrings.

I never thought I could match a stone on-line. The stone arrived and was a perfect match due to the quality photos, measurements, facet configuration, and CCC that GemsNY provided. It arrived as expected. I am a very difficult customer to please, and they did so quiet easily. I recommend GemsNY to everyone.

I had been shopping the internet for several months, trying to find a specific size, shape and quality of Emerald. When I finally landed on the GemsNY site, I found several appropriate, quality stones in a wide range of colour and quality. The prices were very reasonable.
Upon my first selection, the GemsNY rep informed me that the stone I chose was in fact lighter in colour than it appeared in the photo and suggested I choose one with a deeper colour. I did exactly that and three days later, when my second choice arrived, I was very happy with the deep green colour and quality of my second selection. More importantly, my daughter was very pleased when she received the pendant in which I had the Emerald set.
Further, I will say that I found the delivery time (in this case three days to Canada) the fastest shipping of any item I have ever purchased from the US. Very good service indeed.

One of the best online shopping experiences ever coupled with outstanding customer service from the Gems NY people! The selection of stones (pink sapphires and diamonds in my case) and settings was by far the best and broadest I could find online. The pricing was the best I could find anywhere. Add excellent customer service and interest free financing, and you have what I consider the best experience I've ever had shopping for jewelry. My fiance - now wife - loves her ring which ultimately is what mattered when it was all said and done. I'll be back to Gems NY!

In my opinion Gemsny is a great place to buy gems and jewelry. Ernie did his best with me and even recommended against his own interests to give me a true opinion. And my ring came out great. But I do have a recommendation of my own, they need better pictures of the gems and also hd video to get a better understanding of what your buying, because their pictures either doesn't do their gem justice or the gem has flaws you can't see in the picture they have. But other that i will be buying at least another ring or two.

From start to finish, my experience was great. They were the only place IN THE WORLD that I could find, holding an untreated emerald cut peach sapphire (I did LOADS of research...I even called Sri Lanka)!! Most places try to sell you a radiant or mixed cut octagonal stone and that is not what I wanted. I was a little weary when I ordered the stone because it really seemed orange in the picture but, when I received the stone, it was GORGEOUS. Ernie was so pleasant and really seemed happy to answer all of my questions. One thing I would suggest is to not make the website images of the stone opaque and maybe provide some high definition videos of the stones to give people the best idea of what their buying. Not being sure of how it would look really gave me anxiety. I'm sure there's a reason for this but it would also be great if they allowed you to pick up the package at the FedEx store if you aren't available for the delivery. Overall, the service, the quality of the stone, and the pricing makes for an incredible experience. Couldn't be happier!

I received my ruby ring as a 40th anniversary present. It is the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. My husband said that the company and staff were awesome to work with and that he had the ring customized to exactly what he envisioned. I was reluctant to do business with a company so far away for so much money. In talking to the employees during the ordering process they were reassuring and I became more comfortable. Because of their experiance with jewelery they made suggestions which improved the look of the ring I purchased.
The ring arrived and it was everything we thought it would be. We are happy with the ring, price and service. I would do business here again.

The ring put a smile on my face as soon as I opened the box. It is beautiful and better than I expected. I created my own ring and was not disappointed.

After reconnecting with my high school sweetheart 30 years later, we searched diligently for a unique, original piece to symbolize the magic of finding each other again.....I'm fairly knowledgeable about gemstones and knew what I wanted in a ring. I'd admired an untreated, flawless sapphire for a long time on this site but it always was listed as "on hold". I was thrilled to have the stone released for purchase after contacting the site to inquire about how long it would remain on hold! I ordered my ring set in rose gold in a setting with half a carat total weight of princess cut accent diamonds. The ring was shipped timely and received well- packaged. Upon opening the box I was completely underwhelmed with the ring. The center stone is pretty but looks to be nowhere near a carat (it was listed as .99). The setting itself is very light, very thin, very unsubstantial.....and looks "cheap". The prongs of the shared prong setting are all rose gold.....very little contrast as would be with white gold prongs and head for center stone and accent stones. The accent stones were listed as .54 carats total weight and again, it looks like considerably less. I desperately want to adore this ring and be proud to display it on my finger but overall I'm just sad and disappointed at the result. The site is very easy to navigate. The selection was great and I enjoyed the interactive process of picking out my stone and setting. The gentleman who responded to my e-mail inquiring about the "on hold" status of the sapphire was informative, pleasant and responsive timely. I've no plans to return the piece - I've waited 30 years to be reunited with the love of my life.....this is the ring we designed together and this is the ring I'll wear....but I'd be lying if I said I absolutely love it because I don't.....

I've spoken with Ernie who has been very helpful in providing education regarding the density of sapphires vs. diamonds. Moving forward, I now understand that a 1ct. sapphire will look smaller than a 1ct. diamond - I've appreciated the education provided!
Ernie is repairing a prong on the ring and has been incredibly accommodating and helpful. While my new husband and I were initially committed to keeping the piece we designed together originally, we are discussing the benefit offered by GemsNY to "Trade Up" and may inquire about designing a piece we're happier with.

I couldn't be happier with the precious gems buying experience (both price and quality) with GemsNY. The rubies were exactly as described and appraisals were included to facilitate getting them insured. I'll definitely be ordering from them again.

Ordered the matching wedding band to the engagement ring I purchased back in Nov 2015. The band was stunning, we are very happy with the purchase and would recommend Gemsny to anyone!!!

It came on time even though they were experiencing heavy snow in New York at the time of shipping. They even called to tell me it would possibly be late and still delivered it earlier than expected. The ring is beautiful, and exactly as described!!! GemsNY is unbeatable!
