The charge point was marked in my car's GPS, what wasn't marked anywhere was that the parking wasn't free, there was no indication on the machine. (So I now have a fine to pay.) The ma... See more

Disingenuous. Served with £100 parking charge notice at a Premier Inn. No signage at the car park entrance and inadequate signage at the charging point. Effectively, charging is available only to Pre... See more
Much like every other Geniepoint customer! Stopped for an overnight at the Premier Inn in Ross-on-Why and although the charger was only delivering about 2KW charge power the car was estimating being... See more
Wish I’d read these reviews before accessing Morrisons GeniePoint in Neath. Absolutely hammering down. Machine faulty. And wouldn’t release the cable. I’ve only just had the EV and so glad this wasn’t... See more

All local chargers (Wymondham & Norwich)
Update on review below....As of May 2023 all finally seem to be working :-)
All local chargers (Wymondham, Norfolk Morrisons) are faulted, have been for months.
Norwich, 10 miles away, big City, again all chargers (4 x locations) faulted.
I reported to customer services over a month ago, didn't even get a response
GeniePoint EV charge at Mottisons
GeniePoint EV charge at Mottisons, Swansea.
Charge cut out half way through charging.
Went for a walk whilst charging. Came back on only charged to 44% when should have been over 80%.
Moved to other charging point. Won't be using GeniePoint any time soon.
These lot are clearly having their cash…
These lot are clearly having their cash flow funded by their parent company because it’s certainly not coming from their customers. I mean, how can you have a sufficient cash flow from continuing operations when all your chargers a faulty?
It’s like an airline having their entire fleet go tech, it’s amazing they’re lot are still in business.
Unreliable, extremely poor customer service.
Three local charge points have not worked for weeks. Reported numerous times, yet still don’t show as out of service on their app. Even made a complaint which they haven’t replied to.
Very poor service!
I have contacted these people 3 times via email, about there EV charge points not working at Morrisons in Norwich and Wymondham. Both points been out of action for weeks. They haven't the decency to reply and give me some idea how long these will be out of action!
Least when you contact other companies with a problem, they REPLY!
Parked in Southend while having dinner
Parked in Southend while having dinner, put my car on charge, understood that there is an hour limit and admittedly went over by 14 minutes (my fault) was charged 11.40 for this as an overrun charge, my point is that for an hours charge (or just over) it only gave me 11 miles… that’s £1 a mile, I know electrics gone up but cmon make it easy to help the planet 😂
The problem with electric cars is not…
The problem with electric cars is not the cars but the lack of urgency to repair and maintain charging points.
I had 1 mile of charge left in my car and used zap maps to get to a charging point to put in a small charge to get home, the machine was reported working or at least the type 2 charger I needed was reported working. or so i thought.
I got to the charge point only to find it was broken.
I call customer service to try to get it working but he couldn't. I had to call the AA to get me home and that took over 7 hours
No wonder people have range anxiety when charging stations don't work. Also had to signup to use the machine and that took about 15 minutes.
