Unfinished Website Project and Poor Communication
I worked directly with Jeffrey Mahajan, who is associated with and the owner of Genius of the World Consulting(GOTW), and personally funded the completion of a website. While we had also discussed potentially starting a business together, the website itself was a separate paid project.
The website was never completed, and communication eventually stopped despite multiple follow-ups. In my case, there was no clear written contract outlining the scope, timeline, or deliverables, which I would strongly recommend before making any payment.
After not receiving the service I paid for, I pursued legal action and received a partial judgment in my favor. While I did recover some funds, I did not receive the full amount, and the overall experience was very frustrating.
Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend caution before working with him.
