Suspension failure

So spent almost 5k on having a service and £400 travelling back and forth as I wanted the best for my new car! From suspension, tuning etc, spent a lot of money and Nick was amazing picked us up from the station and was great but since I got my car back I’ve had a few problems and Just not happy at all. He’s put new H&R lowering springs on and one side at the front its lop sided and hasn’t been fitted properly and since been told might need a new shock and shouldn’t of been handed back like it. Hitting bumps terrible. He has offered me to come back but I’m down south so just too far to come back but no offer of some money back so I can get it fixed, paid over £500 to have them fitted and now need to put the old springs on till I figure out what to do. also added upgraded filters without permission and charged me £16 for a litter of oil. Also had a MOT done and it failed on omissions, luckily just a small fix but again been told this should of been picked up on a service also two track rods nuts were loose guess when the alignment was done. All the info I’ve received was from another Porsche specialist. I’ve also emailed Nick now 4 times and only had one reply and that was after trying 3 times. I understand he’s making a big move but just very disappointed after investing so much in Genome and Nick. Now found out one of my shocks was damaged and the garage would have seen that. shame i cant upload photos of my front suspension before and after when it was fixed. Just feel ive been taken for a ride paying over 5k :(

You can trust Genome Porsche to get it right first time

Genome Porsche and their staff know what they are doing - they are happy to give advice about every aspect of owning a Porsche, even if its just advice and not a sale. Nick not only knows everything you could ever ask, he is a genuinely nice guy who tries to help where he can, my car will not go nowhere else to be looked after.

10 stars easy.

10 stars! I dropped off a Porsche, I picked up a Porsche killer! Before choosing, did my homework, looked at other places and gathered information about stage 2 before Genome. I had a quick call with Nick who said all the right things during the call, explaining a few of the technical details. Dropped it off on Monday with a small chat with Nick and Andy, picked it up Friday to a great sounding car and long chat with Nick and Steve about what happened. The only word to describe my car now is INSANE! It went from already being pretty good, to holding on for dear life to the steering wheel! I haven't even tried sports mode yet. But just seeing normal mode, I think I will just paint over "ports" from the "Sports" button and just call it the "S" button for "stupidly fast". I am pretty sure they just replaced the engine and put 911 Turbo S engine in to it. I hadn't noticed before but Nick discovered that the turbo was not boosting correctly and investigated. Culprit found and part quickly replaced. This could also be why it feels like a different car and don't even get me started on the amazing sound! To me it sounds better than a flat 6 (sorry but it does). This is how Porsche should have built the car, if they had, EVERYONE would now be driving Porsche.

Excellent Service

Took my 2014 2.7 Cayman in to have a multipoint check and service after recently buying it, and these guys were recommended to me.
Can’t say anything other than they were excellent, kept me informed of what was being done, collected and dropped the car off, prices well below the local OPD for what I feel was a very much, a personal service.
Already talking about some future work that was highlighted and I have no qualms about going straight back to them.
Totally recommended, excellent service.

Genome Design - 718 Cayman Tuning

I have just come back from having my base 718 Cayman mapped by Genome Design and what I can say is what a transformation it has made to my car, better throttle response, faster acceleration and obviously more power everywhere.
I’m from Oxfordshire and after being let down from a company down south, I would highly recommend these guys for tuning, they are all friendly and knowledgeable guys who have plenty of time to discuss anything about your car.

Experienced Porsche upgrade knowhow

I thought long and hard about choosing a company I could trust to remap my base 718 Boxster T. After watching several YouTube videos I settled on Genome Design near Leeds even though I'm in Surrey. It turned out to be great decision. Nick and his team took a lot of time and trouble to install a perfect tailormade tune to my car which transformed our trip to Scotland and round the NC500. These guys know what they're up to. Would thoroughly recommend.
