I was disappointed with the results. It was a waste of time and money. To make matters worse, they kept sending promotional emails every day afterward.

They have taken my money and DNA…
They have taken my money and DNA profile and I can’t access the results, the email address to complain bounces back so I have no way of reaching them at all. Does any one know the correct email address?
Total scammers
Total scammers. I bought their lifetime plan before realising all they do is ask whether you agree or disagree with each trait about yourself, eg, “You are more likely to be fit” then numbers 1-5 and if you agree, slightly agree, totallly agree, slightly disagree or disagree with the statement you select a number. They ask around 100 of these statements then use your answers to prepare a portrayal of you. They haven’t done anything though - you have told them all about yourself by selecting whether you agree or disagree with statements. After realising that they only know about you by what you’ve told them I asked for my money back the day after purchasing. They have refused to answer my request and subsequent requests for a refund
The guesstimate of the nationalities…
The guesstimate of the nationalities Was so way off. I did my family tree got over 30,000 people in there and cross reference The family DNA matches. You didn’t even try to come close. It seems as though you saw my haplogroups And played in my face. Not one relative or the DNA matches shows any signs of Africa. Nowhere did I Solved that there was a note saying it was for entertainment purposes or that it was a guesstimate because it was not accurate at all. After bragging about the site,I gladly retracted, And realize a lot of My followers felt the same. It made us question the accuracy of the whole site. Fortunately, we were directed to a more trusted site, but I feel more secure using my Family tree and not looking like a fool wasting my money On more BS back by a big lie to prove your accuracy.

I really like the reports on health and mental health. Also traits are awesome.
Health traits
I love the health traits and genetic predispositions as that is what concerns me most
I love the weekly free trait!
I love the weekly free trait. It's interesting to see how genes/dna play a part in your entire being. I love the various new reports that they are able to offer, especially ones related to health and diet.
Predatory, Deceptive, Manipulative
Genomelink only provide subscription based service, but if you so choose to unsubscribe after paying for a month/year's access -you lose everything.
If you pay for 365 days, and unsubscribe the following day to prevent yourself from being automatically charged; they refuse you access to what you paid for despite being entitled to access for the next 364 days you ALREADY PAID FOR. They do not respond to queries pertaining to refunds; and they don't remove you from their auto-email'ing upon cancellation.
Avoid at any and all costs.

You get... something, for free, when you upload raw data
Well, it's free, so I won't mention the bugs.
You upload your raw data from My Heritage or others and you get something.
Do you get what you want? Probably not. You probably need to pay for the things you want.
But you get some cool stuff. A second opinion on what your ancestry is...and it might be wildly different than the initial result.
And you get Traits. Which are...cool, but so damn useless! Maybe the paid version has things that actually help.
one thing about Traits: You need a masters degree to understand the double negations and what not. Who the hell wrote those explainations? "You tend to have a lower caffeine metabolite ratio in blood" What does that mean? Don't worry, you have a longer explaination that makes even less sense. And later you get"You tend to drink less coffee" . Oh! Easy. Just say it plainly.
Others: You tend to have smaller boobs. Well. I should hope so, I'm a man.
Or the psychological ones: you are likely a people person. Well...guess what. The environment has an opinion about that. Maybe I do, but my environment didn't agree with the DNA. So I'm not. Now if I say "no" I will affect your data, but it would be false. Because I do have a natural tendency as you claim, but I don't act on it. So you should offer an option to respond with "Yes, but..." to differentiate between DNA traits and environment.
Oh, and of course" you tend to have more/less beta-amilase/vitamin B/iron..." Do you actually expect people to know if they tend to have that? How often do you test for beta-amilase? I tested for Iron levels maybe 3 times in my life, when I was a kid. I deffinitely don't know what the tendency is.
So yeah, a cool tool, but not useful at all in the free version. Which would makes sense, as they want you to pay. But they don't give you a taste of anything yummy, to hook you in.
Misleading marketing emails, wasting my time
I visited this site, and uploaded my DNA data. After having felt misled by the sign-up process, I then deleted it.
I was surprised therefore to receive an email with the subject "You have a new DNA match". After spending a chunk of my time logging into the site and looking for further information on this match, I was reminded that I had deleted my DNA. When I enquired my I had been sent this email, I didn't get a straight answer, just confirmation that my DNA isn't there, so there couldn't be a match.
The email I was sent appears to have been misleadingly titled just to attract my attention. What a waste of my time!
These people might know about DNA but they are either desperate for business or unscrupulous in their marketing, and best avoided.
Feels like a money grab, not impressed.
I don't like having to wait weeks for information to be released. You should release it as soon as you get the results instead of making customers wait. I paid for a 14 dollar plan... but no new information is available to me ... so what am I paying for? Lots of traits are inconclusive, many not accurate.

I believe they provide good
I believe they provide good information about European(but insufficient)and native americans ancestry report. But regarding the african percentage in the reports they are quite wrong. They assigned an extremely high percentageof african ancestry to people. Significantly higher and different from many other companies of dna.I had been tested by several dna companies. The reports are extremely different from genomelink regarding african ancestry. I don't trust genomelink. Customer service very poor. They always split the different reports in 13 ethnicities or 13 groups. I am very disappointed .
