GEOfinder is a robust phone number tracker that allows you to identify the precise location of any phone number on a map regardless of mobile network.

This sucked, I agreed to a .50 cent charge for one number, then it turned into less the $2 so I thought ok, the next billing cycle would be the next day. Ok paid it and bam.. a $24+ charged in minutes. I didn't check anything. Now I have a cancelled debt card and inconvenience beyond because I am out of the country. Do not waste your money or your time.

Went here and was happy to pay 91p for a trial had some teething issues with accessing the trial Vs needing a full subscription but these were resolved. Prompt replies from support teams. Didn't take the product further.

This company is a scam . They took 97p to track a number that came back just a large area . I made sure I unclicked all the options to join . Guess what they have fraudulently took £47 from my account .
And the company that the payment goes to is UMBX shop which is a scam site .

Reply from GEOfinder
Avoid. Reported to action fraud. They asked for 90pence to track a phone number. They took payment and then sent me a message saying they couldn’t track anything at that time. They then tried to use my card details to steal £23.99 from me. They’re actually part of umobix and probably acting under another name because the company has such horrendous reviews for stealing money. Luckily my bank recognised it as fraud and blocked it but I’m now having to change all my banking details :(
And, reading through the reviews from others the same thing has happened to lots of people. The company are replying to these reviews and saying that they’ve refunded the money. They haven’t. For the lucky ones, some banks have recognised the fraudulent attempt to steal money and their fraud teams have blocked it from being taken. That’s not the same as refunding it.
The payment screen, which I’ve screenshot as evidence, asks you to pay 0.90p and they’ll send you the required data. You do that. The screen shows you’ve sent the payment and then has a wiring image and then says that it can’t process the data at that time. You’re left baffled wondering how to get your money back but then another screen shows. There’s a box at the top saying you can get a subscription for £23.99. You assume you’d have to select it and then be taken to payment again. Or, at the the bottom of the screen is a continue button. You assume you’d press that if you don’t want the subscription but want the data you already paid for. You press it and it still says you can’t get the data at that time. Then you get a call from your bank (if your lucky) saying £23.99 has tried to be taken from this company. It’s the law that ever payment has to be authorised and a company CAN NOT legally hold your card information, without your consent and use it again without clear consent. That is theft! I have no idea why they haven’t been closed down along with the other companies that they hide under. If anyone wants to take them to court please quote me! And if any of the owners wants to try to make an excuse- it’s 100% a lie. They know they’re trying to mislead and steal from people in the hope people will think it was their own fault for pressing a wrong button. Or they hope people won’t notice the moneys missing until it’s too late to claim it back (like any respectable company, it does not show on screen that you’ve even made a payment or that they’ve taken the money). Luckily for me- the fraud teams are onto them!
In response to the company’s reply, you know exactly what this complaint is about as I’ve emailed you directly. Action Fraud will provide more details if you contact them but be warned that you’ve scammed a lot of people so it might take a while get to my specific info
In response to the companies second argument shown below claiming that they only took 90p. This is an outright lie and they know it. Firstly they took 97p as they added-on tax without telling me first. Secondly they TRIED TO STEAL £23.99 and the only reason they couldn’t get it was because my back blocked their fraudulent attempt. I wish we could send pictures on here as their fraud is noted as such by my bank

Hi,i am here to inform everyone who used or not used this app, to stay away. A big big NO. I havent used this at all, nor given any info about subscription, and now had a loss of 5000 rs. for no use. Really? Such a big scam you are doing. I want my refund for 2 months, which i got scammed, otherwise i will proceed with legal actions against you.

I subscribed for 1 day to geo-locate the number of a scammer, but all it gave me was the country. I could tell that from the country code, so not exactly a value-added service.
I didn't want to subscribe for additional services, but then couldn't find where I could unsubscribe.
I used a card with a tiny amount on it, so if they try to gouge more out of me, well try away!

They are just scammers , don’t get taken in by this company , they steal your money just another scam company that should be closed down , I warn you stay away

So I paid £0.97 for a trial, as soon as I paid I was taken to a page where they only had one “continue” button so naturally I was forced to click that button to access the website, little did I know that they take around £24 out of your account without redirecting you to any payment page! This is a pure scam! This is actually the first time ever that a website took money out of my account without redirecting me to a payment page. And if you do ask for a refund you are told that according to their policy you can’t get a refund. I’ll be disputing this with my bank now.
UPDATE- They told me that they have closed my account and refunded me my money which is true, they also asked me to edit or delete my review which I didn’t so because of that they have now charged me £23.98 because I didn’t delete my review.

Scam!!!
They take a 97p fee for a one off search that doesn't even work, then charge £47.99 for nothing. They offer no cooling off period which by law they are obliged to, so I am now pursuing them through small claims court under legislation. They will offer a % back, no, it's not negotiable you have broken consumer law and you will pay expenses as well as my fee back now. How they can try and make a 24 hour "auto renewal" stick with no cooling off period stick is anybody's guess, but clearly aimed at taking people's money under smoke and mirrors and in contravention of consumer law. Utter scam!!!
Now refunded in full*

Like most people here, I was scammed. You pay for a trial one day and the next you are charged a large amount. They send meaningless emails asking if they will refund your money. I will take measures to ensure they do not charge me again.

*BE WARNED* I wanted to use this website for one search. I was happy that one search was going to cost me 97p. The screen states one day free trail. In the same screen it also tells you that auto renewal is off. Having submitted my apple pay all I was left with was a spinning wheel which was alarming so I did some research which highlighted that the next day you will be charged £47.99 ($50). No Idea if their product works just be warned that you aren't signing up for one day. The is just plain misleading and Im being polite.

I paid a dollar to use it for a day and after clicking on 'assist pro' and 'premium support' was charged a further $25 FOR ONE DAY. Apparently I 'upgraded' my one dollar investment for 24 hours- load of rubbish. Not one of the links I sent even worked. Trash! I woulnd't invest a cent in this.

I went on this website as I had a missed call and did not recognise the number. I paid 97pence on Apple Pay and then I was charged £23.98 and emailed them. The next day I was charged another £47.99. I am furious. I have emailed and they say that they cannot offer a refund. I don’t know how to cancel any other payments as they don’t even have my correct email address and I did not make an account. I emailed again and no response. Appalling and customer service disgusting. I’m reporting to my bank

This is a total scam, like many I've also been charged extra.
Once your write to customer service they just repeat their refund policy without acknowledging that money has been deducted without permission and that the hook is 1 USD.

Reply from GEOfinder
It seems alot of people already experienced this. I also payed 1 dollar to use it once. But today suddenly they deducted 50 dollars from my account saying it's for monthly subscription. I didn't even get any results for paying 1 dollar so I left the website and didn't click on anything. As if that wasn't enough they deducted money for something I never touched. I'm thinking of reporting this to the police.

Reply from GEOfinder
I used the service to find a number as a 1 time thing and was happy to pay the $1, until i had $50 taken out of my account to a subscription I never signed up for. I have cancelled and emailed for a refund I hope will be fulfilled.
I have tried to send an email to them and they have intentionally rejected the email.

Absolutely disgraceful. Tried to find my husbands phone as he left it in a taxi.i have been charged £0.90 for this one off time to look where the phone is. It didn’t work!!! Next thing I know I have been charged extra £24 for subscription and next day they have tried to take another £49. I have not subscribed and not able to contact them either!!!
