63-66 HATTON GARDEN, 5TH FLOOR, SUITE 23, EC1N 8LE, London, United Kingdom
After cancelling my subscription, I was still charged $24.58. I requested a refund but have not received one. Been waiting 8 days so far. In communication with the company, they say they didn't take the $24.58, despite me showing them the evidence from my bank. Twice I have asked them to explain why I was charged after cancelling my subscription, but no response from the company on that. Avoid!
Update: the $24.58 charge was blocked on my bank account, but after complaining, umobix released the block. However, after 3 requests for them to explain why they even attempted to take money from me after I cancelled the subscription, they still have offered no explanation.

This company is completely fraudulent and unprofessional.
They tried to take £23.98 (multiple times!!!) without my consent after I paid £0.97. One rep lied, claiming they couldn’t void the payment or even find it, yet as soon as I got through to someone else, they fixed it immediately.
They pressured me to remove my Trustpilot review, lied repeatedly, and clearly don’t care about their customers.
If you’ve already been scammed, don’t back down — let them know you won’t be bullied, report it to your bank and the FCA, and carry on pursuing it.
I’ve raised this with Trading Standards, and I urge anyone reading this to avoid them at all costs.
I have received the refund for the second time now. will update if anything further happens.
My bank has blocked them so even if they wanted to they couldn’t take the payment for a third time.

I payed £0.97 and two days later £47.99 came out of my account which I didn’t agree too. After reading other people’s reviews this happens a lot, complete scam do not use!!!!! I’ve emailed but haven’t yet got a reply, I want my money back ASAP!!!

I paid £0.97 for a phone number location search because I suspected I was being scammed. They never actually provided the information I paid for.
The very next day, they took £47.99 from my account without my consent. I tried several times to cancel only a couple of hours after using the service, but the password they gave me never worked with my email (even though I copied it directly from my password manager).
This has caused me a lot of stress — £47.99 is a significant amount of money to lose for absolutely nothing.
I have emailed them for a refund but heard mixed reviews if I will get it or not.
I need this money for food was expecting only a under £1 payment

I’d give zero of if I could. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I paid 97p for a phone number location search because I suspected I was being scammed which they didn’t actually give me. The following day they charged me a WHOPPING £47.99. I tried several times to cancel after a couple of hours of the phone number search but the password which they gave me kept saying it didn’t match my email despite it being copied from my password app.
I emailed them the following day explaining this only to be told no you won’t get a refund. I’ve been so stressed out and upset as that’s a lot of money to me for absolutely nothing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. ITS A SCAM.

Indeed, and i cannot believe that I write this, but they managed to get refunded both amounts
I'm constantly broke and tried my best to keep up with the credit card payments
Indeed there are a few major points to discuss here, which I'm not going to dive into, but in the end, I have been refunded full amount

EDIT (27.08.25 10.50PM) - whilst i still would not recommend this company at all given my experience & quite a few others on here, I will say after my email to them I got a response from support within 45minutes saying they will issue me a refund from their end. HOWEVER there was no apology from the individual who wrote the email from the billing team. I did write back thanking them for the swift response & could they please remove all my bank details etc off of their system. I never received an answer for that email & instead 4hours later received a generic email stating an apology and a refund has been issued could take up 2 weeks to reach my account. So this does make me wonder if they have deleted those details or not. Good job im closing that bank account down.
I wish I could give minus stars.
Truly awful. Please don't put any bank details into website, I thought id be safe using Google pay and typing in my security stuff (I do not keep that saved on mobile devices) because they still got it despite bank blocking one card, and sending me new one.
Like many others here I signed upto the 'one off' of 97p I made sure nothing else was ticked. No subscriptions or extras.
Purchase was taken.
Next day £47.99 tried to go out through googlepay, but luckily I didn't have the funds, so I looked at my emails. No emails saying i had signed up to anything of the sort, no agreements. I only had an email saying 'please finish signing up' but as I was already on phone to my bank, I read out the entire email. He said sounds suspicious do not click anything, and he blocked my card. However they tried to take payment again through Google pay on 15th and 18th August. Luckily i did not have the funds. Once I received my new card and activated Google pay, they tried again on 23rd August, it was pending and despite nationwide saying that they blocked it the company got it on 25th August. Turns out doesn't matter how many new cards you get, as I used Google pay and Google pay is a virtual card number against your account as long as Google pay is active and you have the funds they can take it from your bank!
All the emails I have received from, this company are advertisements saying 'please sign up, here is some discount,' or 'your subscription ended, please come back.' The supposed subscription i took out ended email was 13th August..... why try take the payment multiple times after 13th all the way up to 23rd??? also the website address is American, but at the bottom of all my emails, the address is London. Another thing that is weird is normally advertisement emails you can unsubscribe from, but bottom of emails they say you cannot unsubscribe as these emails are 'transactional emails' that makes no sense as we have not made a transaction in the email? Your just trying to make me come back with these adverts so spam my inbox. What's funny is they spammed my inbox up until they managed to get my money, now ive had absolutely nothing!
Very cheeky. I have written to the support team disputing this and asked for a refund, but I still think they need to be reported on the basis that they have done this to multiple individuals, they seem to know what they are doing.... something is definitely not right.

I sent a complaint a few days ago in which I indicated that I wish to cancel my subscription but I am unable to sign in to do so, since I am getting a negative response which says that ''the entered email does not exist in the database". At this time I am primarily interested in obtaining a valid password in order to cancel my subscription as I have no more interest in GPS tracking. In anticipation of an immediate response in this matter as I wish to terminate my subscription by the 30th August 2025. Very best regards to your entire staff. Vincent Ackoon

Pure theft. I can only complain to the internet police. We will request that the site be banned in our country.

Absolute scam. Signed up for a one off 97p search, it wasn’t until I checked my bank account the same day I noticed they had taken 2 further payments (£25) for premium service and a subscription which I didn’t sign up for, sent them an email asking for refund and they saying I can’t get one as it’s in their refund policy, apparently I had signed up for this when there is no way I did, it didn’t come up on the payment section at all. Wish I had checked the reviews beforehand, not confident I will get a refund. Terrible way to run a company
EDIT despite numerous emails they are still refusing a refund saying it’s not within their refund policy as I signed up by mistake! I didn’t sign up for any extra subscriptions, this seems to be a common practice with this company

Reply from GEOfinder
Used the website to help me with finding a missing person and paid £087p or similar amount and even on checkout it gives you the options to not add any extras or subscriptions and obviously even if you click no they fraudulently still try to take money and once completed I logged into my account with them and I literally went on the subscription tab and cancelled the subscription I didn’t even confirm or entered into any contract and yet 2 days later I have had 2x £47.99 taken unauthorised using my card details. I have now reported this company to fraud department at Starling Bank and also emailed geofinder support email and I expect a swift refund otherwise I am reporting you to the financial conduct authority and the ombudsman
This is a scam company that try their luck with unsuspecting victims and chance their luck that some people won’t notice the money they are debiting their banks.
I will be reporting this company to every bank and financial conduct authority’s to blacklist them if they don’t swiftly return the money they have stolen off me

I used the app to try and find my partners phone when as he lost it. They said it was a pound then suddenly it’s a subscription on top of that they then tried to take £50 without consent.
Is a total scam do not use

Took out a day subscription R27 it piece of rubish software didnt help.Worzt of all as you leave the software it triggers a subscription automatically which you arent aware of untill they start deducting money which they do not refund. Blatant crooks.

Geofinder is nothing more than a well-disguised scam. They lure you in with a £1 “trial” but then, without clear consent, start charging £50 every single month. The worst part? You cannot cancel through their website—it just loops you around and leads nowhere.
I’ve seen countless reports from others who’ve had the same experience: money quietly taken from their bank accounts, no proper service delivered, and absolutely no help from customer support. The only way many have managed to stop the charges is by cancelling their bank cards entirely.
This is not an honest business—it’s a subscription trap. If you value your money and your peace of mind, stay far away from Geofinder.
They say they refund to keep you quite but never happens

I wanted to use the one dollar trial. They added a bunch of other stuff on there, which I did not know about. I immediately requested a refund and got an email saying that it was nonrefundable, i was also told I should have unmarked the boxes. However, I did not see any place to unmark. The boxes and didn't even know they remarked. I would not recommend to anyone.
Update ***
Someone finally reached out to me and issued a refund. Im good with that..
Thank-you!

I'd give zero stars if it was an option, I paid the 1 day trial price, for a reverse lookup of (ironically) a scammer, I've not received any of the Information related to the number and on top of that l, I've been charged a large amount this morning for nearly £50!
I can't access my account to cancel, so have had to email them, yet to receive a response, con artists!

Maybe not the best app but definitely the cheapest for location tracking, works fine. Plus, username lookup is very useful.
