Sly, Unethical Business Practices
These guys are more unethical than any company I have ever seen - if they are even a company and not just a sc#m... I buy from Temu a lot, so when I saw an add for Temu return crates being sold near me (Cape Town), I hopped on it.
I was disappointed to be redirected to their website after making payment, and then I realized what had happened. It was a small amount, so I did not give it much thought - until this month another, larger deduction went off of my account. Apparently I was not only falsely tricked into paying them money - but also falsely tricked into a subscription kind of thing that I can't even use as I am in South Africa.
So I email them requesting a full refund and for them to cancel any and all subscriptions I have with them - eventually they get back to me with the following:
"To help us improve our service, we would greatly appreciate it if you could leave feedback about your experience with the Escalation team. Your positive comments can help us enhance our team's performance.
Please follow these steps:
1. Open this Trustpilot link: (I had to remove their Trustpilot link as Trustpilot does not allow links)
2. Select the number of stars 4 or 5.
3. Write a good comment simply such as "Issue addressed," "Good service," or "Great communication." or any good comment towards my service and effort.
4. Submit your review using "Continue with Email" and follow the prompts.
5. Add your name and the code that Trustpilot will send to your email.
6. Submit the review.
We kindly ask you to avoid mentioning terms related to the refund to keep the focus on the service experience.
Once the review is submitted, please send us a screenshot to help us expedite the processing of your refund. The funds should be processed and received within 5-7 business days."
So they now promise me my refund only if I lie about their sly (at best) business practices and then only in 5-7 days (lets face it, I am never getting it back). I now know where all their 4 and 5 star reviews come from, and why they are so short and to the point, mentioning names - exactly what they asked me...
I have now had to cancel my card and report the transactions as fraud in an effort to stop them stealing more money and get my money back.
I want to make it clear again - up to the point where I was redirected to their website AFTER making payment - there was ZERO mention of them. I was under the impression I am buying a TEMU returns crate from my local hub, as it is cheaper than sending it back to China. Only AFTER they got my payment and details was I redirected to their website.

100% SCAM!
100% SCAM! Do not trust any good reviews they bought them out to boost rating! Taking money out of your account without your permission. I never shared my details with them or signed up for any membership, when questioned they said I didn't have to and my details have been transferred over to them from somewhere else! Reported as FRAUD and now in dispute through my Bank.
I had an account issue and alerted the company and thanks to one of their agent Zoe, she assisted me with everything satisfactory.
