Having tested Coconut banking initially, I've since been trying out a few other accounting apps (Xero, Quickbooks etc) before making a decision to commit.

I soon realised how easy (and dare I say it, 'fun') the Coconut mobile/web app was to use, whereas other apps I equated with 'accounting' and therefore 'stress'.

I've therefore returned to 🥥 for a relatively hassle-free admin/accounting experience. Very impressed indeed.

Amazing product. I recommend this for all sole traders and anyone else looking for a simple and effective solution. I saved money, saved time and have really enjoyed using this product.

Great experience overall. Software is easy to use and customer service is great.

Don't use this bank they closed account without telling anything I provide all information they need they locked me out and I can't access my funds no one is replying on email or call it's been more then 2weeks

Coconut provides all I need as a small business. I’ve used the chat/support function a couple of times and they’ve always been really quick to respond and deal with the query. Can’t fault them!

Albeit rather expensive, their customer service is excellent and it is a really useful tool for end of year taxes - a real time saver.

Just contact support for a transaction I don´t recognize and Lake did an amazing job helping me.

I have used coconut for a long time and could not recommend them any higher. They are of how all banks should be.

Fab team at Coconut just sorted out my transfer query within minutes… knowledgeable, helpful and humorous… what more could you ask for in a bank!

I just recently had a great response to a question concerning my account and Daniel was so supportive and experienced in offering me an alternative to what I had originally thought I should do.

Coconut has made running my business so simple. All my finances are so clear & broken down into categories… the staff are also insanely helpful and instantly reply to you if you have any questions. Highly recommend this app!

Coconut failed to close my account for months which means my money was "frozen" there as they restricted my access. They even charged me transaction fee without my consent after my account "closure". Despite they promised a refund of the transaction fee which is a small amount indeed, it did NOT happened (up to this minute) like my account closure application. Their unreliable banking service has created misunderstandings and damaged relationships with my customers because my customers think I am unreasonably chasing for money. After several back and forth with their customer service team, they politely sent me apologetic emails (for me these emails are nothing more than those useless emojis on social media) but refused to pay for their mistake. When they can't deliver what they promised, do you still trust this bank*?
* According to their website, they are not even a real bank because they don't have a banking license.

Helpful and responsive customer support through the chat function on the app (which automatically notifies you via email when there’s been a reply)

The tax vault function is also great if, like me, you’re not a great planner which means that paying tax bills can be a struggle when they comes around each year!

It’s easy to send out invoices and I no longer need to keep my receipts in a box cluttering up my flat just in case HMRC requests them.

The online team Kayleigh, Zac, Steff, Daniel who I have presently contacted for help have been awesome with their roles. Quick reply and polite very professional. Keep up the good work.

Next step is to increase there team that can take questions on off peak hours like weekends and late evenings providing if there is a market for it.

I find coconut to be very useful and a great tool. I love how easy it makes it to keep track of tax and expenses.
However the fact that they don’t have an IBAN number is let’s them down as it makes receiving international payments very difficult.

I've used Coconut for the past 3 years now. There's always amazing customer service and they're always trying to improve the app too. I'm a bit wary when I read trustpilot reviews but I can say this is genuine, from a small business, self employed person. Coconut has helped with my savings for tax, my SA, and I've recommended it to my younger sister who is about to go self employed too.
