Minx 200 sub repair

The repair was performed and a recap was also offered to improve sound quality of the sub due to noise detected during repair. Service was great.
Only small improvement would be to increase communication on status/progress so I was kept up to date with progress.

Arcam Solo repair

The initial enquiry & automated email including the delivery note was very successful. The initial quotation was fair & email from engineering so I proceeded with the payment. Unfortunately there was another issue further email received with explanation & further request for an additional payment repair. It’s difficult to get a response by phone so after a couple of days I did receive a more detailed explanation. I was sceptical but made the second payment to repair my Arcam Solo music system. I received it back & everything was working fine .

I was amazed by the repair and the…

I was amazed by the repair and the after sales help, I did have issues but it was operator error bit embarrassed but they talk me through it and, hey presto it worked. Will definitely use them again and very shortly, thanks get it fixed.... Very impressed. Jerry

Good communications and value for money

It was easy and quick to get an estimate for my TEAC product, equally easy to get label and to post amplifier.
Excellent communications and estimate of timescale for repair.
Sadly a key part was no longer available. Product returned. Depute outcome I recommend the company for professional approach and communications.

Repair and Replace to Save.

Thought my ‘phone was scrap because of the damage, but Get It Fixed not only repaired the damage, but also suggested a further replacement that could be done easier and quicker whilst it was dismantled. This saving additional future expense and down-time.

This company is an atrocious cowboy outfit. Avoid them like the plague

If Trustpilot had a negative star rating, this mob would score minus five. They claimed they could repair my hifi u it for £88, which I thought was reasonable. However, once they received the unit, they added another £32 in hidden fees. After several weeks, they informed that the unit was unrepairable and added further hidden fees, £32 for "handling and return postage" and £23 for parts they used which failed to repair the unit.So, I ended paying them £83 for doing nothing. To add insult to injury, i discovered the returned u it had developed two further faults it didn't have before I sent it to them. They failed to answer any of the emails I sent complaining about their failures. The phone number given was never, ever answered. This company is an atrocious cowboy outfit. Avoid them like the plague and do what i e ded up doiing and use the original manufacturer to carry out any repairs. They may be a little more expensive but they they don't charge you a ything if they can't repair it.

Not great

Good points - unit eventually fixed. Bad points - everything else. Quoted £88 then £32 added for postage and handling which wasn’t in original quote. Seen other people say they were quoted £88. Conveniently adds up to £120. Took ages, communication terrible, don’t answer the phone and often don’t reply to emails. To top it all they didn’t return my mains cable. Wouldn’t recommend.

TOTAL SCAM

Very quick to take money, have not fixed or returned item for several months. Multiple excuses as to why item is not fixed or returned, ended up giving a parcel force tracking number for something never given to parcelforce. complete scam, worst company I have ever dealt with

THINK to USE getitfixed.uk

I had my Sennheiser Momentum 4 repaired by this company last November, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. Within less than half an hour of the repair, one speaker failed completely—rendering the ANC useless and subjecting me to disruptive white noise. I promptly claimed their warranty and sent the faulty earphone back. They even confirmed receipt with photos in mid-December (case reference: RE: WO-10-16-2024-5556).

However, as of mid-February, I haven’t received a single email update. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them, they’ve completely ignored my communications.

Updates on 18 Feb, got replied and said they waited for the parts so they did not reply. I am now waiting the earphone to be sent back.

Bose Sounddock 10.
Initial email confirmed £88 for repair and after sending the item with its original box remote and power cord they sent pictures all great for 10 days. then after follow-up sends email saying express service is £35 then after speaking to someone they sent an invoice for 116£ which was paid. then get awaiting parts after than a month passed and i folowed up... they sent £35 express service fee for which i have mentioned paid 116£ and awaiting my repaired item !! now they send another £48 to pay for no clear reasons why .. the best part is they dont respond to phone call or return calls !!! i am not sure what i should be doing now !!!!

Malfunctioning on return after repair

I sent my turbo trainer unit in for repair, quoted £75.
Thats fine. But to then get an email saying I will have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for 'STD' repair or pay another £35.
I decided to wait.
When the unit did make it to the repair desk, I was told the repair would now be £95.
Eventually got the unit back after 3 months. Hooked it all back up only to find it was not functioning correctly.
Contacted the company by their email service (waste of time phoning them, they never answer), no reply. Looks like I am stuck with a partial working unit.
I would have been better off buying a second hand unit for about the same money.
Oh well lesson learned.
I will not be using Get it fixed again.
