Disappointing product and aftercare service
Having researched Gettech and read very positive reviews (in general) I have to say that I was very disappointed with product and aftercare service from Gettech. I bought my husband an "As new" iphone 11 in January 2022 for 519 euros. This included a case, screen protector and warranty which was I thought a good offer. However, early in September (after 8months of use) my husband noticed that the buttons on the screen were becoming less responsive. As we were going on holidays and did not have access to a replacement at the time I was unable to return the phone until early November. in the meantime the screen buttons became less responsive. I sent photos of phone ahead of the product. Cal at Gettech commented that "Rest assured we will have this rectified for you." Instead of having the matter rectified however, I was informed that due to the 'physical damage' to the phone the warranty did not apply. I was also informed that the battery was down to 74% and I'd need a new one. I reassured Rachel that my husband only ever has his phone in car or at home and apart from general wear and tear, there had been no physical damage done to this phone. While there were slight scratches in a couple of places on the corner of the phone, the phone and screen were still in extremely good condition. My own refurbished iphone8 from August 2020 (from a different company) has undergone a number of falls/physical damage and has numerous scratches on phone/screen protector however, I have never had an issue with response to buttons and the phone is still in perfect working order with the battery at 76% capacity. While staff are helpful and quick to respond to emails, I am very disappointed with this product and I feel that the warranty counts for nothing! I will certainly not be using this company again.

Our technicians had determined that this issue and the lifting of the screen is something that can only be caused by a drop or a knock to the device. The cracks can be seen here in these photos: https://postimg.cc/gallery/zb309Tf
As is our policy, any physical damage/liquid damage or third-party tampering will unfortunately void the warranty and result in a paid repair. This is outlined in our return instructions.
As per the photos supplied, your device did show signs of physical damage and we offered discounted repair rates. You declined this, as is your right, and we shipped the device back to you.
We have taken your feedback on board and we are constantly working to improve our service. In the meantime, we would love to have this issue resolved for you. If there is anything else we can do please feel free to let us know, we would be happy to speak about this and come to a resolution.

Friendly staff and prices
The staff on the other end of the phone were friendly and helpful and talked me through the best options for what I was looking for. I was pleased with the price and the item arrived in good time.

Fantastic company
Customer service in this company is second to none, brilliant staff and always a voice at the end of the phone, I have been dealing with this company for 3 years or more have bought at least 7 phones over the years and all phones are excellent never had a problem with them, prices can’t be beaten or warranty.
