I cannot recommend Giant Solar Ltd highly enough. When I was recently in need of solar assistance they came to my rescue, big time!

At the end of 2025 I ran into problems with my solar batteries. They had been installed in 2021 by ESE Solar, a Liverpool-based company. At the end of December 2025 the batteries started malfunctioning. First they ran completely out of charge and then they wouldn’t recharge or hold their charge properly. Not the best start to the new year! I had a solar maintenance plan with ESE so that was obviously where I went for help. Two and a half months later, however, by the middle of March 2026, after raising tickets, exchanging messages, receiving promises of site visits, waiting, waiting and getting nowhere, I was so frustrated that I gave up on ESE Solar.

That’s when I contacted Giant Solar Ltd. Within two days one of their technicians, Nayeem, was in my loft checking out my solar setup and diagnosing the problem. The batteries were dead and needed to be replaced as did the ESE-installed inverter which was faulty and had no doubt caused the initial problem. The equipment was still under warranty but activating the warranties would have to be negotiated with ESE Solar. Having already experienced two and a half months of frustration with ESE, though, I couldn’t hack the prospect of more frustration. So, after talking with Ray of Giant Solar I decided to cut to the chase, ditch the faulty equipment and start again. Forgoing the warranties incurred expense that I could have done without but the batteries and inverter had to be replaced, and I wanted it done sooner rather than later.

Within two weeks Giant Solar had new batteries in place, a replacement inverter installed and all of it connected, and up and running. Customer service as it should be! Now, instead of faulty equipment, endless frustration and uncertainty of service at the hands of ESE Solar, I have functioning equipment, peace of mind and certainty of service knowing that professional, effective and efficient technical expertise and advice is only a phone call away, courtesy of Giant Solar. And with no pesky, impersonal “tickets” to come between me and service. So without hesitation, five stars, huge plaudits and heartfelt thanks on my part to Giant Solar!

We booked a diagnostic appointment and this was arranged quickly on a date/time convenient for us.
We were visited by Naeem who thoroughly checked our full system and identified the fault and gave information re the required action needed to resolve the issue.
Naeem explained everything to me and made sure that I was fully aware of what issues had been found, the impact on our system and the various options open to us....thank you so much for your time, expertise and making everything clear for us

Would recommend Giant solar, there service was spot on replacing a failed generation metre, all good now. Very quick response.

Great support and very quick action. Rehan has gone out of his way to organise in order for our solar power installation back to its full generation capability. Not even minding to get his hands 'dirty'.

Goat Solar went above and beyond to fix an intermittent fault with my father in law’s solar panels.

Comms prior to the call-out were carefully handled and pictures of the installation requested so that Giant could be as prepared as possible to fix the problem.

On the day, Nayeem the technician was very careful to ensure he had checked every part of the PV setup and was very thorough in identifying the intermittent tripping problem.

I should particularly comment that Nayeem was also very patient with my father in law who is 90 and loves to talk! He listened patiently and showed interest in his stories of the solar panels and motorbikes etc.

After checking that the fault was resolved, the technician also looked at the connecting infrastructure into the house and followed up with a very thorough report, with photos, of the installation, fault and remedy.

After the visit we had a follow up call from Giant to check that there had been no further issues. I should add that the cost of the visit seems reasonable bearing on mind the expertise required to understand and fix this technology.

I would have no hesitation is recommending Giant Solar, a company that exhibits the kind of customer service long since forgotten by many.

Found this company on CHEKATRADE so knew they had been checked for accreditations and all work done by them thru CHEKATRADE would be reviewed. They came out to do a Solar Panel Health check. Responded to all communication promptly, turned up on time and reviewed the System. Found no faults. Very Polite People and very reasonable cost for service. Would Recommend.

Giant Solar people are helpful honest and gracious. My installers MyEnergy Solutions being ignored me for two years. Did not supply correct documents for registration. Faults occurred with solar panels system The company cut my calls off. I contacted Giant Solar explain to them what has happened. Rehan with engineer came to fix the problem. I am a pensioner. They were professional with courtesy. I would recommend Giant Solar to anyone who is thinking of having Solar panels system. I understand that Giant Solar does roof insulation and heat pumps and Gas boilers. My fellow pensioners give them a call, chances are you might get it for free. I rate Giant Solar as a TOP company where people matters.

Had a problem with my solar panel meter and they diagnosed it and fit a new meter at the visit. My previous one was dead and I didn’t have to pay for a new meter unless it was needed, which was hood.

We were very impressed by the quality, efficiency and empathy that Giant Solar showed in helping us to solve the problems with our solar batteries. Unlike other companies this small job was no problem for them. Rehane was so professional and helpful, he fully understood our problem, arranged for an engineer to attend our property. On the day of the visit Rehane came with the engineer to make sure everything went smoothly. We are so pleased with the results. Thank you.

Well the sales rep that came out came across as honest and was easy to ask questions of about any concerns i had or anything i didn't understand . he also made me feel comfortable and was not pushy . the workers that fitted or did the install were tidy in their work and were friendly and easy to get along with . All of the work was completed in 2 days . everything was smooth and the office communication of timings and what to expect was spot on
