Three brilliant lads at Gibbs moved all our wordly goods from our old house to our new house. Fast & very efficient. No damage to anything. Highly recommend this company.

I would 100% recommend Gibbs Removals, they were brilliant from start to finish. Shelley was great, she replied to all my emails quickly and was able to rearrange the move date. On move day, an extra truck turned up and everything was loaded on to the trucks in about two hours. Then they off loaded the truck in less than two hours at our new house. Gibbs picked up and redelivered my living-room furniture to and from storage, while my ceiling and carpet were replaced following a domestic accident. The service was excellent in every respect; prompt, efficient, friendly and flexible (I initially requested storage for 2 weeks, but had to extend that to 6 weeks due to various delays with the building work). I would not hesitate to recommend them.

This was such an important move for me, moving back to Devon after many many years away. Shelley came to the house to give a quotation at very short notice as my completion date had changed several times. Lee and Paul were fantastic the day before packing but the two others did not turn up. Shelley did eventually at just after 2 but her packing has resulted in so many items being broken; photos, mirrors, even the bottom of chairs to name a few. Many items she did were not packed in paper and wrapped in our own towels or not wrapped at all. Robbie and Ant joined them on the day of the move to make a very hard working team with Lee and Paul. I can not fault the guys as they moved everything with a smile, quickly and thoughtfully. Nothing was too much trouble and I would recommend this part of the service. The packing was stressful and I’m so disappointed as I’ve been unpacking over the last few weeks. I would have given them 5 stars had they just been moving my stuff. Really let down by very poor packing, 2 people not showing up and boxes not labelled or labelled incorrectly. Wardrobe boxes were assured but not provided. For £3k I expected more.

A big thank you to Robbie and Lee who made a potentially very stressful day much calmer. They were polite, professional, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Most of all their good humour. We found time to cover the footballing and boxing world as well as many other topics. Gibbs Removals provided a professional service from start to finish. Great service, Great price, Great Company. The gentlemen who assisted us did a fantastic job moving from one house to another. The gentlemen were quick and efficient. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs to move. You will not be disappointed.

Shelley and the team at Gibbs removals were extremely professional from the start of the process to the end. They were very patient and accommodating whilst we waited for the exchange/completion date (as the buyers solicitor moved this 3 times).

I cannot thank the removal team enough. They were quick, patient and very careful moving our belongings out of our old house and into the new. They were very professional and made our house move light hearted and fun, as we all know moving house is a very stressful thing!

The cost of the dis-mantling, moving out and moving in and re-building furniture was more than reasonable.

Well, what can I say, from start to finish Gibbs were brilliant. I had called around and spoke to some rogue people then I dialled Gibbs and spoke to Shelley. She put my mind at ease, they had availability even at short notice. The price quoted was less than I expected, but only slightly higher than others but I decided to go with them as Shelley explained exactly what was going to happen. You get what you pay for and their rate was still less than I have budgeted for. On the day the guys arrived bang on time. They spent time carefully loading the van and how they packed it was just amazing to watch. Everything and I mean everything arrived at our new home safely, no dings, no breakages. They took 2 and a half hours to pack the van but they did it with such care it all arrived safe. They were friendly and joking with us throughout the day, it made the moving day really calm and relaxed. I can not recommend them enough. From start to finish they were ace. Competitively priced and a decent reliable company. Will use them again, just hopefully not for a while as we like this place.

Moving house is incredibly stressful, however the service received from start to finish from Gibbs made our home move so much easier and in fact stressfree.
We chose the company having met one of the owners at the point of quotation - personal accountability is important to me & knowing the service was delivered by the owners was very reassuring.
We opted for the packing & moving service - everything was well packed and done promptly to fit with our schedule.
On the day of moving we felt like nothing was too much trouble. It was a great experience.

We used for moving yesterday, we had 4 men and they were brilliant! They were so quick and getting the job done and nothing was too much for them..even in this heat they were amazing! would def recommend absolutely no faults for us. Thank you for making a stressful time for us alot less stressful!
