I am very disappointed with giffgaff. I bought an iPhone 14 for my daughter in “excellent condition,” but after just 4 months the volume button fell off. Despite the one-year warranty, the company refused to repair it for free and instead demanded £600 – which is absurd.

After refusing to pay, I took the phone to an independent repair service. It turned out the device has a non-original, low-quality housing (likely a cheap Chinese replacement), which is why the original parts don’t even fit. On top of that, several other poor-quality replacement parts were found inside.

This is not “excellent condition” – it is misleading the customer. Giffgaff completely ignored the issue and took no responsibility for the product they sold.

I strongly advise against buying refurbished phones from this company.

I like GiffGaff

I like GiffGaff because it is straightforward value without trying to screw you. And was one of the first to include EU roaming. Their communications are always clear.

Great mobile company

Very affordable & easy to keep track of usage.. fantastic customer service & the fact the app tells you if you need to lower the monthly bolt on price based on previous month usage therefore saving you money 👌

I’ve been with giffgaff now about 2…

I’ve been with giffgaff now about 2 years or so and I’ve never had any connection problems or issues. I’m on a monthly rolling sim which is a good price and it’s just great for me.

Ideal for a light user

I am a light user so giffgaff pay as you go service suits me very well. I have not experienced connectivity issues, though the signal at my home is weak. This may become an issue as I will become increasingly reliant on the cellular service with the loss of the land line and the demise of Skype.

NEVER BUY REFURBISHED PHONE AT GIFF GAFF

NEVER, BUT NEVER BUY AN REFURBSHED PHONE AT ANY CONDITION WITH GIFF GAFF.

If possible do not make any business with this company. I requested 2 S25 Ultras and both came with issues. Now I am trying to book a return and they are inventing conflicts. So waste of time, waste of money as I have bought case and screen protector etc.

I've been with giff gaff for many years…

I've been with giff gaff for many years now.
Never had an issue, super easy to set up.
Always informative regarding money saving for the customer.
Would highly recommend if your looking for a SIM only contract.
Also can cancel when needed, no hidden costs to the customer.
