This was a great experience. They definitely went above and beyond with multiple revisions. I echo what others have said. The more descriptive you are the better! I think some of the revisions were due to a lack of direction from me. Thank you again to the folks at this company. Especially Thomas!!!

From the very first submission, I started receiving emails asking for more pictures and more details/stories for my video! Their attention to detail is amazing and I know it will create a lasting memory!

I was searching for something truly meaningful and creative for my wife’s birthday and happened to come across Gift of Movie. I uploaded a collection of photos, memories, and descriptions thinking, “Maybe this will turn out cool.” What came back absolutely blew me away.
The level of detail and realism they created from a handful of photos was honestly hard to comprehend. The environments, imagery, emotion, storytelling, all of it felt cinematic and deeply personal. It wasn’t gimmicky at all. It felt like something crafted with real care and creativity. There were multiple moments watching it where I genuinely could not believe what they had managed to create from the material I gave them.
To be honest, I hesitated at first because of the price point. I wasn’t sure whether it would really justify it. After seeing the final product, there’s absolutely no question in my mind that it was worth every dollar. This is one of the most thoughtful, unique, emotionally impactful gifts I’ve ever given anyone.
What impressed me just as much was the service. I gave extensive feedback and edit requests, and they handled everything thoughtfully, quickly, and systematically. I’m honestly still kind of stunned by how good this turned out.

I first learned of GiftAMovie from an ad on Instagram. It looked and sounded like a cool, unique gift idea so I clicked the ad for more details. I placed my first order a couple of days later. Since then, the experience with Thomas and the team at GiftAMovie has been nothing short of spectacular. From prompt, clear and comprehensive email responses, to their ability to add or tweak aspects of the movie to include specific personal references, this process has exceeded all expectations. Their attention to detail, understanding, imagination, and willingness to go above and beyond, has resulted in an almost finished product (I’ve just requested a couple more final amendments) that captures so much of the story in a beautifully presented, meticulous production. I even showed the first version of the movie to a couple of friends, one cried watching it! I can’t wait to give the final version of the movie as an upcoming birthday present. The video and song both came out amazing. We relived our beginning beautifully. Additionally, when we have a few changes, they were quick to modify the video with great customer service.

What a beautiful job was done on our movie that I was able to gift my wife for Mother's Day with our children and grandchildren present and accounted for. Services like Giftamovie are always a risk. You cross fingers that they will do a good job. The result I got was disappointing as it didn’t capture our likenesses or backgrounds properly. The reason Giftamovie is truly an excellent service is what they did next. They took in as many pictures and clips as I wanted to share, completely redid the movie and wow was it better. And, did it in time for Mother’s Day which was so important to me. Very appreciated.
