Digital gift cards are normally generated and sent within around an hour of purchase, so the delay you encountered was far from typical. Earlier in the week we did run into some technical issues that affected the automatic creation and sending of HelloFresh gift cards. According to our records, these problems were resolved a few days later and your vouchers were then generated and sent on.
Even so, the inconvenience and uncertainty caused in the meantime shouldn’t be overlooked. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the disruption. It’s not the standard we aim to provide.
Modern technology is brilliant when it works, but it does leave us all rather dependent on systems running smoothly. When something falters, it quickly reminds us how limited we can feel without it. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding while things were being put right.

Our e‑vouchers are normally generated and sent within an hour. Gmail in particular likes to tuck them away in the Promotions folder, which can be a bit hidden on mobile. If you’re using Gmail, logging in on a desktop usually makes that folder easier to spot.
From what I can see in the correspondence with our support team, your voucher was resent on Saturday and again yesterday, so it should be somewhere in your inbox setup.
If it’s still nowhere to be found, please do reach out to our support team again. We're more than happy to look at alternative ways to make sure you receive the voucher you paid for.

A simple clear message stating the gift is activated through apple/android wallet would avoid underhand methods to attempt recipients make use of food voucher tokens for people desperate to eat. Disappeared barcodes second tactics to deprive the hungry to feed their families also.

I strongly recommend getting in touch with your bank as soon as possible so they can block your card and guide you on the next steps. It’s also important to report the incident to Report Fraud at https://www.reportfraud.police.uk/, so the authorities are aware.
