I was pleasantly surprised with Gifted …

I was pleasantly surprised with Gifted touch as I had a concern and it was promptly corrected and I was surprisingly compensated for the trouble. They did not have to do that and yet they did. I ended up buying from them again because of their service and the second time it was perfection. Thank you!

I cannot say enough about this company

I cannot say enough about this company. I had a question about the wattage of the chair and the representative did not know from the information he had available. He made efforts to quickly provide the information. The chair arrived quickly an the instructions for assembly were easy to understand. The chair works great thus far and I am so very happy with this purchase from every aspect.

I have had a wonderful experience with …

I have had a wonderful experience with gifted touch. I am a brand new med spa owner, and was looking for an amazing table. I found the kensington pro and I ordered online. The next day, Jeff personally called me and suggested that I speak with manufacturer of the table. I was then contacted by Living Earth Crafts to discuss the table specifications. They upgraded my table and the price actually reduced. I was contacted by Jeff again to let me know what to expect with the delivery. It was a great experience for a novice like myself. I ordered some new items from Gifted Touch, shelving, makeup chairs etc, and Jeff again called me to make sure I was ordering exactly what I needed. I love this personal touch, because it is rare to have someone call on the phone to discuss business these days.

Incompetent

I first contacted Gifted Touch in late August to confirm that they had a table (which they listed on their website as available). The table had been discontinued by Earthlite, but the rep I spoke to assured me this table was in stock. I went back a few days later, and was told yet again that they had this table. I thought about it for a few weeks, then decided to purchase the table I had been told twice was in stock. I place the order (which normally ships about 2 days after payment is received) and on the 3rd day, contacted them to see if my table was shipped. I was told they would check and get back to me. A few hours later that same day, I received a call from the owner saying he was sorry, but they never had this table and they'd forgotten to update their website. Now I understand the part about forgetting to update your website store, but I do not understand how TWO different customer reps could assure me GiftedTouch carried this table EVEN AFTER I told them the model had been discontinued by the manufacturer. The owner tried to fix things by offering me a higher priced lightweight table, but I declined. This company REALLY NEEDS TO TRAIN their customer service reps. They get 2 stars instead of 1 because they did own up to their mistake.

Our reps handle hundreds of inquiries a day. Mistakes do happen. We are not perfect. All of that is true. If you run a business, then you know.

There was an inaccuracy on our website which was what the first represented had gone off of.

The second representative noticed something off did not say that we had the product but rather that she was confirming which product the customer was asking about and then the rep said that a customer service rep would follow up with the customer.

Our website is not always 100% accurate because data does change all of the time— and we carry hundreds and hundreds of items, so that we can be sure to do our very best to have the treatment equipment that our customers need. We do our best to keep up with it. Rest assured we are constantly at work at it.


Ultimately on the alternate product that we suggested to the customer we offered a significant discount to Susan, hoping that would help get her into the type of product that she wanted. She expressed that since we had made a mistake she would decline. We immediately refunded the transaction.

I was promised my delivery in 5-7 days

I was promised my delivery in 5-7 days. It took ten days , I was not notified of a possible delay. Also when I went on line to check the status of the shipment there was no information available. I had to contact the company for the information. Also, their chat service was available, but they had no information In talking with their customer service, he was only able to send my info to another department. The customer service department could not tell me the status of my order

Buyer beware!

Buyer beware! If we could give them negative stars we would. We purchased the Rx4-1000 in November of 2016, and by January we were having multiple problems with the table. The head rest was not secure and wobbled which was not comfortable for patients or anyway to work while trying to do delicate procedures. We have reached out to Gifted Touch multiple times via email and phone. They did attempt to send someone out to fix the chair, but it was NOT a successful repair. The next issue to arise with the chair is the nonstop squeaking when raising and/or lowering the chair. At this point none of our emails are being responded to nor are our phone calls being returned. It wasn't until we threatened to dispute the charges with our bank did we get a response from Jeff Roth, the CEO of the company. At this point he was now willing to work with us on a trade of the chair or an upgrade. After some back and forth, it was settled on a swap which they would not provide a full years warranty on the chair. Since then we have not heard from Jeff or anyone else in the company regarding this. We would not recommend purchasing with this company, and will never do business with them again.

We have literally sold hundreds of the model of table in question in this review. This is the first time that any of them had this issue that the customer mentions. Its is one of our most popular products. Sometimes during shipment the table can be damaged and that can cause the issue they report. However, their report is extremely overstated in the review. The customer sent us videos where we could hear the issue they're referencing. It was not non-stop, but extremely occasional, occurring only at certain points. Also, the volume of the sound was extremely low. Nonetheless, we took the concern from this customer seriously from the beginning, which is other than what is reported above.

We sent service technicians out twice to help them. Well before they threatened to charge back their card, so that, again, is inaccurate.

We offered to give the customer full value for their table toward an upgrade— And that we would pay for both the shipment of the new table, and the return shipment of the old table— but the customer refused to agree to acknowledge their agreement to our store policies, and then chose not to complete that deal. This made us start to wonder how it was going to go.

Then the customer agreed on the phone with us for an even exchange for a replacement with a new table of the same type, but again demanded that we offer more to them than we had agreed to, and then our policies state.

It is unfortunate when communication breaks down. We do believe that the customer's account of the history of this situation leaves out significant relevant details. We do not know if we were dealing with Mira, or her employee, at any given time, as they used a variety of email accounts and sent unsigned emails, so we never knew if all of the information we were sending was being communicated in full to the correct person/people. That said, we did our best to handle this responsibly and professionally, and we offered a variety of above and beyond solutions,.

Ultimately after the customer insisted that we go outside of what we had verbally offered, they had verbally agreed to , and what our policies state very clearly on our website, and then escalated by threatening legal action (not mentioned in their 'review'), we had to seek legal counsel, and adjust our response to protect our company and its reputation.

Not every situation in business, or in life works out perfectly .And we accept that this is true. We don't always get it right at first. We're a company run by humans. Caring humans, but we're people. And we're not perfect. Neither is everything you ever purchase. We know that. And we tried hard to satisfy this customer. When they attempted to change the rules in the middle of the situation that was a red flag for us, that perhaps the solution wouldn't be as easy. We don't always get it right at first, but we do always work our hardest to get it right in the end. We do the best we can do.

Our Email Reply to this customer was sent as follows:

Mira and Courtney,

I understand your eagerness to solve this, and we share that concern with you.
I was traveling at the end of last week, and then came down with food poisoning and have been out of commission for a few days.

That said, things have gone to a new level with this threat that we've received from you now [to take this to court], and that makes me uncomfortable.

The other thing that I'm uncomfortable is the underlying issue that you're making out of the terms of the warranty.

This is for two reasons:

1. As per our warranties and policies statement posted on our website, "GIFTEDTOUCH.COM Inc., and the companies whose goods are sold through GiftedTouch.com, reserve the right to repair or replace any item covered by warranty, at the discretion of said vendor(s) and/or GiftedTouch.com Inc."

2. You and I discussed on the phone together two times last week what the warranty would be on a swap-out, versus an upgrade, and that the upgrade to a more expensive table, where your company would just pay the difference in costs between models, and we would cover the shipping in both directions, would come with a new warranty. And that the swap-out of like for like [though a brand new table], would come with the continuation of the original warranty from the original purchase date. This is standard warranty best practices that we see in all warranty policies. Repair or replace at seller's discretion. After acknowledging that distinction with me on the phone, it is my understanding that you are insisting that we provide a new warranty "reset" on our offer to swap out the table that you have. We have never offered this, it's not consistent with our policies, and we're unable to offer that.

GiftedTouch.com has acted in good faith to troubleshoot and repair your current table. We sent a technician out two times to fix the problem, and you were unsatisfied with the outcome. I did mention to you that we believe that there are parts we could send out to replace that would solve the problem, but that we'd rather have just swapped the table.

Now that you've decided to send back the table, we will accept that offer. We agree that it may be best for us to part ways.

You will need to have it crated properly by having put on a 60" pallet , and then palletized with appropriate cartoning and crating.

a few experiences

I have purchased a few things previously with no problems. Recently I ordered and paid for an item..a few weeks if not more went by and I had not received it so I called the company and was told that the item I purchased was actually out of stock. A phone call letting me know about that would've been really nice.

Ryan and Naylah contacted us back in 2016, and we worked together for over 6 months, honing their target products until they had their order just right. We provided background information on products, availability, shipping options, discounts for volume, and coordinating logistics. didn't arrive during scheduled date or time

So far the company has been better than other chair companies we have worked with. But we scheduled a delivery for the chair to arrive today. It cam yesterday in the middle of clinic flow instead. A bit chaotic but we managed to make it work. Not sure what the point of scheduling a day and time for delivery is.

We work with over a dozen freight companies in order to ship very large treatment equipment by freight all over the United States, with multiple shipments in transit across the country every day. The shipments are routed to local delivery terminals which are located almost every medium and large city in every state. Each of those locations has their own local culture and staffing procedures. Unfortunately It is not standardized at all. It is truly an imperfect system, and we do apologize that there were inconveniences. We really try hard and do the best we can, but sometimes there are variables with this type of freight shipment that are beyond our control. Weather, traffic, and routing can also be a factor.

Good company, iffy product

Good company, iffy product
We ordered a reclining chair/bed. There was an issue with the delivery where one of the 2 boxes shipped to us was returned to Gifted Touch's warehouse instead of being delivered. Not the company's fault, and they eventually helped us sort it out, but it was a bit of a headache. Then when the 2nd box arrived and we went to assemble it, we had more headaches with the assembly - the wrench included was too small for the bolts we had to use the wrench on. Eventually we got it assembled and so far it works well, but the whole process wasn't as easy as I had hoped it would be.
